LS 119
by NiluThe ones who reacted to Dohee’s words were the raid members.
[Raid] SoftRiceCake: Wait… IngSupp likes chocolate drinks? lol
[Raid] SoftRiceCake: That’s honestly so wholesome
[Raid] SoftRiceCake: I thought IngSupp was one of those “gotta have iced americano even if I’m dying” types lol
[Raid] PrettyHealerHyung: Whoa… I gave up chocolate drinks in middle school… ㅠㅠ lol
[Raid] Oreckthat: Oreck still loves chocolate! ദ്ദി˶˙ᵕ˙˶ )
Moonhyuk’s face turned even redder. He looked just like a ripe apple now. Dohee held back a laugh and got up to go fetch the chocolate drink. Moonhyuk said he’d go himself, but he looked like he’d collapse the moment he stood, so Dohee unwrapped the kimbap and pressed it into his hand before heading to the kitchen.
The way Moonhyuk just accepted and ate whatever was handed to him, kimbap or bread, was too endearing. Dohee did want to finish the Demon Hunter full clear quickly, but a part of him also wished this time could last a little longer. Of course, even after the raid ended, he’d make sure Moonhyuk stayed over and spent more time with him. But this kind of joy might not come again.
He wanted to take on the next boss raid with Moonhyuk too. He always said he was going to quit SoGod, but to be honest, Dohee no longer thought he could. Because Moonhyuk was genuinely having fun.
Quitting was easy. But leaving while Moonhyuk was still enjoying himself felt nearly impossible. Dohee knew himself well. Even if Moonhyuk spent all day gathering herbs, he’d be right there beside him, picking weeds too.
When he returned with the chocolate drink, Moonhyuk was watching the stream chat while chewing through two pieces of kimbap at once. How could someone eat so well
“Is the kimbap okay”
“Yeah, it’s good”
“There were a lot of good places around here, so I wasn’t sure where to order from. I’m glad it suits your taste”
“It’s yummy”
“You don’t have to talk. Just eat”
Dohee’s voice had a laugh in it, and Moonhyuk covered his mouth as he smiled shyly. When he sat still, he looked so sharp, but the moment he smiled, he turned into a soft teddy bear. What was Dohee supposed to do with someone like this
Forget the stream and the raid. Right now he just wanted to grab Moonhyuk and kiss him a thousand times. But he held back with the patience of a saint.
“Do–ah… GoSupp-nim, aren’t you eating”
The way he caught himself from calling him “Dohee” and corrected it to “GoSupp-nim” was pretty cute. At least he was aware they were on stream. The chat was currently flooded with people sharing what they had for lunch. Dohee quietly opened his mouth
And clueless Kwon Moonhyuk didn’t even realize it meant feed me. He just blinked blankly, and Dohee instinctively brought a hand to his forehead.
What was he even expecting from this guy
If they weren’t streaming, he might’ve actually asked to be fed. But since his voice was still going out through the mic, that wasn’t an option. Once the raid was over, he’d have to teach Moonhyuk the meaning of “feed me.” Shaking his head, Dohee reached for the kimbap. He’d been tense the whole time, and now that it was finally lifting, the hunger hit hard.
The other raid members seemed to be snacking too. Watching a few who had gone AFK return one by one, Dohee turned to Moonhyuk. He had neatly folded the used kimbap foil and stacked the untouched bread to the side. Just as he was lifting the chocolate drink, he sensed Dohee’s gaze and turned to look at him.
“…Huh”
“Did you finish eating”
“Ah, yeah”
“You sure you don’t want more? We might not be able to eat again until dinner. I’ll leave these cookies next to you, so snack on them if we wipe, alright?”
Dohee laid out the cookies he’d bought earlier on Moonhyuk’s desk. Moonhyuk nodded.
“Um… Do- I mean, GoSupp-nim, you should eat too”
“Yeah. Oh, by the way, hyung”
“Yeah?”
“You were really good at that minigame. Have you played it before?”
He finally asked what he’d been wondering about. Noodle still hadn’t returned, so they had a bit of free time. Moonhyuk glanced at the monitor. He seemed a little concerned about the stream, so Dohee reached over and turned off his mic.
“I’ll be muted for just three minutes”
He wasn’t actually stepping away, just muting his mic, but he still gave the viewers a heads-up. Some grumbled about why he’d mute just to talk about a minigame, and others even cursed, but Baek Dohee didn’t react. If he worried about every little comment like that, he wouldn’t be able to stream at all.
Once the mic was off, Moonhyuk finally spoke.
“Oh… you mean the tile matching game, right?”
“Yeah”
“My grandpa used to play it with me before he passed away”
“…Huh?”
“We didn’t have a computer at home, and we couldn’t afford to go to internet cafes or arcades… so my grandpa used to play with me so I wouldn’t get bored”
“I see”
“We didn’t really have anything else to play with… my grandpa liked playing hwatu ( traditional Korean card game ) with his neighborhood friends. You know hwatu cards have a bunch of similar pictures, right”
“Yeah, I know”
“After flipping the hwatu cards face down and shuffling them, I’d time myself to see how fast I could find matching images. If I beat my own record, Grandpa would buy me a chocolate drink.”
Something stirred in Dohee’s chest. Just imagining a young Moonhyuk playing hwatu with his grandfather made his heart feel strangely heavy. He couldn’t help but think how adorable that must’ve been.
“Sounds like fun.”
“It really was my favorite game. I had to beat my record to earn a chocolate drink… so I’d get super competitive. One time, I really, really wanted that chocolate drink, but I couldn’t beat my best time no matter how hard I tried. I ended up crying myself to sleep. But the next morning, there was a chocolate drink in the fridge. Grandpa had gone out secretly in the middle of the night to buy it.”
“…”
“He said he wanted to teach me that even trying hard deserves a reward.”
“He was a good man.”
“Yeah. I don’t know how he was to others, but to me, he was a really good person.”
Moonhyuk gave a faint smile. That sudden wave of loneliness radiating from him made Dohee feel like his chest had been hollowed out. They say emotions can be contagious. Maybe this was what that meant. Without saying anything, Dohee reached out and brushed Moonhyuk’s bangs aside. He wanted to kiss that smooth forehead. He wanted to hug him tight, no hesitation. He wanted to tell him not to worry, that he’d be the good person from now on. But there was nothing he could actually do, so all he could offer was a smile as he gently moved the hair from Moonhyuk’s face.
“Ah, I think Noodle’s back.”
A voice calling for them rang out loudly from the headset.
As he turned the mic and cam back on, Dohee made up his mind.
Once Demon Hunter was done, he was going for it.
He was going to shove someone named Baek Dohee straight into Kwon Moonhyuk’s life.

The raid members used the save zone to restock potions and special items. In preparation for the wipe mechanic, Tando handed out the special damage-reduction potions he had brewed beforehand.
“We don’t know how long Phase 3 will take, so if anyone needs to hit the bathroom, go now.”
Everyone replied that they were already good to go.
“Let’s move out”
Yeojin was the first to take action, boldly moving her character forward. The rest of the raid followed, exiting the save zone and approaching the center of the map. As they neared the deep crater in the middle, a humanoid monster began to rise slowly from the ground. It was the final boss, Demon Hunter.
Wearing a robe and floating in midair with shadowy energy swirling around twin guns, Demon Hunter was the smallest boss they had seen in any raid so far. That also meant he would be harder to hit with skills.
The map was larger than expected. The orange boundary lines showed it was clearly wider than Phases 1 and 2. Sandstorms swirled in the distance. A strange screeching noise echoed from somewhere. The sky started to darken, and soon it began to rain.
“What is this? Did it rain in the preview too?”
Noodle’s question was immediately answered by the system.
[System] Due to the influence of ‘Lost Jubite,’ the weather on the map is set randomly.
[System] Rain imbued with dark energy begins to fall.
[System] Movement speed and attack speed reduced by 15% due to the rain.
“What the hell is this bullshit…”
Noodle’s voice dripped with disbelief. He couldn’t swear outright on stream, but in his mind, Dohee completely agreed. Seriously, this game threw everything at you.
Why have a random weather system for a raid boss map
A 15% debuff to move and attack speed was no joke. Dohee quickly applied the movement speed buff to the raid.
“Hyung, use your buff again as soon as the cooldown’s over.”
“Got it”
As soon as Dohee gave the call to Moonhyuk, a deep voice rang out from the Demon Hunter.
[Demon Hunter] Who will bring the world to ruin
[Demon Hunter] Who will save the world
[Demon Hunter] Foolish humans, still believing in yourselves. How pathetic
[Demon Hunter] This place shall be your grave
“Wow… that is such a classic villain speech.”
Yeohoo responded to Tando’s snort.
“Straight-up old school.”
As Demon Hunter finished speaking, a quest window automatically popped up.
Tears of the Demon Hunter #.1-3
Defeat ‘Demon Hunter’ (Normal) 0/1
[System] You have entered Jubite’s ‘Lost Footprints.’
[System] Defeat ‘Demon Hunter’ and acquire the second divine relic ‘Bante.’
[System] Monitor resolution is now locked to 16:9 ratio.
[Raid] PrettyHealerHyung: I’m… so nervous ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
[Raid] PrettyHealerHyung: Fighting!!! [Cheer Emote]
[Raid] SoftRiceCake: There’s no turning back now…
[Raid] Oreckthat: What matters is an unbreakable spirit!!! ╭( •̀^•́ )╮
[Raid] SoftRiceCake: lol you’re really using that line well now
“Alright, let’s go in.”
At Dohee’s signal, the raid charged into the map.
They had finally reached the last phase.
