Around noon, Chen Xiucheng was woken by the rustle of movement. Wu Jinshan was changing clothes and had also heated up a cup of milk for him.

“You had a fever last night, and you’re still going to the ranch today?” Chen Xiucheng asked, wrapped in the blanket, cupping the warm porcelain mug.

“Yeah. Just going to check in, not handling the livestock. After a night of wind and rain, there’s definitely a lot of work to do.” Wu Jinshan adjusted the collar of his shirt, then turned around. Chen Xiucheng had just come out of the bathroom, and after washing up, crawled back under the covers.

Chen Xiucheng finished the last third of the milk, brought the cup downstairs to wash, then came back to find himself dozing off again.

The drizzly, overcast weather made it especially easy to sleep. Both his arms were outside the blanket, his body turned slightly toward the door. He was still holding his phone, the blanket pushed down to his waist. A faint light came through the soft curtains and landed on his bare shoulder.

Wu Jinshan walked over quietly and stood by the bed, staring at Chen Xiucheng’s slightly parted lips, overwhelmed by the urge to pull out his dick and stuff it in.

In the end, he restrained himself and leaned down to give him a small kiss on the lips instead.

Chen Xiucheng didn’t stir. Still asleep, he scratched at the corner of his mouth, which itched a little, and went right on sleeping.

Funny how a year ago, he had hated this face at first sight. Now, he could not get enough of looking at it.

Chen Xiucheng slept straight through until evening, skipping lunch altogether. When he went downstairs to find something to eat, he saw Wu Jinshan wearing an apron and cooking in the kitchen.

Wu Jinshan had planned to bring the tray upstairs, but seeing Chen Xiucheng come down, he set the bowl of beef rice noodles on the dining table instead.

“So you actually know how to cook?” Chen Xiucheng asked mildly.

Wu Jinshan placed a cushion on the seat for him and replied, “Yeah. How’s your ass feeling?”

He shouldn’t have brought it up. The moment he did, Chen Xiucheng felt even more embarrassed. He still wasn’t used to being the one on the receiving end. The lust-crazed madness of the night before was one thing, but now, fully awake and having to face the guy who had fucked him, he had no idea where to hide his face.

That night, he shut himself in the study to avoid any contact with Wu Jinshan. His body was still sore, so he went to bed early. The next morning, he packed his backpack and planned to bring his little frog plushie to Lin Xiulian’s place to cool his head for a few days.

He figured he could just make up some excuse to hang out with the kids, and if that didn’t work, he would go home. Worst case, his mom would nag him for a few days, and he would just wait until school started to go back to campus.

But just as he tiptoed out and opened the door in the early morning, he found Wu Jinshan standing right there like a wall. He grabbed his backpack and started unpacking it, putting everything back in its original place.

This was Chen Xiucheng’s third attempt at running away. Wu Jinshan had learned his patterns long ago and had been waiting outside the study for a while.

“You… how did you…” Chen Xiucheng tried to come up with an excuse, maybe something about Lin Xiulian urging him to go home.

But Wu Jinshan said all his thoughts were written plainly on his face, so he could save the lies. He refused to let him out the door and even said he looked exactly like a heartless bastard who pulls out and leaves.

Chen Xiucheng tried to explain the concept of a refractory period, thinking that as a fellow man, Wu Jinshan should get it.

“Your refractory period is ridiculously long,” Wu Jinshan said, clearly not interested in understanding. Then he dug into Chen Xiucheng’s bag and pulled something out. “Why do you have two mugs?”

Oh, right, that. That night, when Chen Xiucheng had decided to come find Wu Jinshan, he brought both mugs along, intending to give one to him. But then Wu Jinshan pissed him off, and he completely forgot.

“My mom bought them as a pair. I kept one at home and brought the other to the dorm,” Chen Xiucheng explained. Since Wu Jinshan had already found it, he might as well go through with it. “You broke yours, didn’t you? I’ll give you this one.”

These mugs had some history between them. The two of them had ended up using the same style of mug by coincidence, and over the past half year, it had sparked plenty of chaotic drama.

Wu Jinshan studied the mug in his hand with clear delight, though he still said, “Used one? Isn’t that kind of gross?”

“This mug has my DNA on it. There are only two like it in the world. I’m giving you one, and you’re complaining? If you don’t want it, I’ll give it to someone else.” As he spoke, Chen Xiucheng pretended to take it back.

Wu Jinshan quickly tucked the mug away and pushed Chen Xiucheng back inside, shoving him onto the bed. “No way. You gave it to me, so it’s mine. I’ll give you something with my DNA too. Fair’s fair.”

Chen Xiucheng struggled, cursing him for being such a pervert so early in the morning. Wu Jinshan, however, looked completely serious as he claimed it was just desensitization therapy, saying the only way to overcome fear was to face it head-on.

Chen Xiucheng had no idea what was wrong with him, but somehow, half-reluctant, half-willing, he ended up back in Wu Jinshan’s bed again. The two of them, completely naked, rolled around in each other’s arms for several rounds.

That night, when Chen Xiucheng came out of the bathroom, Wu Jinshan gave him a long look and asked why his ass looked extra perky today.

Chen Xiucheng snapped, “Pretty sure it’s just swollen.”

“Oh—” Wu Jinshan rubbed his chin, looking thoughtful. “It looks better when it’s swollen. In that case, let’s keep it swollen for a few more days.”

And so, Chen Xiucheng’s ass stayed swollen all the way through the weekend.

Unfortunately, the weekend was also when he had his part-time job.

When his alarm went off that morning, Chen Xiucheng kept hitting snooze. Eventually, the noise woke Wu Jinshan, who came into the room to check.

Eyes barely open, Chen Xiucheng mumbled, “Let me sleep a little longer.”

Wu Jinshan replied, “You can sleep all day if you want.”

Before Chen Xiucheng could even finish saying, “Really?”, Wu Jinshan had already grabbed him by the ankles and spread his legs apart.

“What the hell are you doing?” Chen Xiucheng jolted awake.

Wu Jinshan said, “Didn’t you say you wanted to sleep a bit more? I’m just giving you a hand.”

In the end, Chen Xiucheng got fucked right back to sleep. When he finally woke up, it was already afternoon. Wu Jinshan had been considerate enough not to come inside him, but he had come all over his thighs instead. Thick, sticky streaks, obscene beyond words.

The semen had clumped up and stuck to his skin. Chen Xiucheng spent ages in the shower trying to wash it off. When he came out and saw that Wu Jinshan had returned home, he scolded him for leaving him like that on the bed for half the day without cleaning him up. Then, spotting the delicious food Wu Jinshan had brought in, he immediately snatched it up and wolfed it down, grumbling about starving to death.

The next morning, as soon as Chen Xiucheng’s alarm rang, Wu Jinshan came over and asked with a straight face, “Do you want to take another day off?”

Chen Xiucheng panicked. “I don’t want to anymore, I don’t, I love working, let me go to work.”

But Wu Jinshan ignored him. “How can you love work but not love me?” Then he forcibly spread his legs again.

And just like that, Chen Xiucheng was forced to “rest” for another full week.

After months of starving, Wu Jinshan pounced like a starving ghost finally seeing meat. With the new semester coming up and time running out, he said he had to leave behind as many DNA traces as possible while he still had the chance.

Those damn DNA traces were never-ending. As for Chen Xiucheng’s recent daily routine, aside from eating, sleeping, showering, and going to the bathroom, it could be summed up in one line: getting fucked awake, and getting fucked to sleep.

He didn’t even have the strength to curse anymore. Every time he opened his mouth, his voice was so hoarse and overused that even he couldn’t stand hearing it.

Wu Jinshan, on the other hand, was suddenly full of things to say. He told him all about covering his part-time job these past few days, said he took the shifts for him and made sure he still got paid.

Chen Xiucheng replied, “You sure talk a lot now. Didn’t you almost die holding it all in before?”

Wu Jinshan looked at him with fake sincerity. “I nearly did. Luckily, your love saved me.”

Chen Xiucheng held back a laugh. “Don’t do that. Be normal. I’m not used to this version of you.”

Wu Jinshan immediately started acting shameless again. He grabbed Chen Xiucheng’s hand and pressed it to his crotch. “I am normal. Totally normal. If you don’t believe me, feel for yourself. See if this part feels normal. You’ll get used to it.”

A few days later, Yashan called Chen Xiucheng crying, saying her older brother had recently dumped a ton of math homework on Chongshan.

Chen Xiucheng was confused. “He gave the homework to Chongshan. Why are you the one crying?”

“Because I’m the one he assigned to check it,” Yashan said miserably. She explained that their mom had signed her up for English tutoring, and now she also had to find time to teach Chongshan elementary school math. Her whole summer break was ruined, with no time to go out and play with her classmates.

She vented to Chen Xiucheng for nearly half an hour before finally calming down. Then she seemed to remember something and asked, “Did you tell my brother I was the one who spilled the secret? Is that why he punished me?”

“No way!” After being fucked silly for days, Chen Xiucheng had completely forgotten about that incident. “No, I swear I didn’t say a word. I haven’t even brought it up yet.”

“Alright then.” Yashan reluctantly believed him. “Oh, and by the way, my brother said you were sick again and had to stay home to rest, so you couldn’t come visit.”

“Brother Chengcheng, why are you always getting sick? Mom says maybe the climate there just doesn’t agree with you.”

    Heh.

In a way, Chen Xiucheng felt that was actually true. Once he left Wu Jinshan’s place, his body would start to recover. His back stopped aching, his legs stopped hurting, his throat stopped feeling raw, and his ass finally got a break.

Then Yashan asked, “So how are things going with you and my brother?”

Chen Xiucheng tried to brush her off. “What are you talking about? I don’t know.”

But Yashan wasn’t easy to fool.

“If you didn’t know, you’d have denied it right away. That means it’s happening.”

“…” Chen Xiucheng hung up on the spot, muttering to himself that this girl was just like her brother, too damn sharp for her own good.

That sudden hang-up only confirmed Yashan’s suspicions. She immediately bombarded him with a flood of texts, teasing him and calling him “sister-in-law” over and over again.

Chen Xiucheng told her to cut it out.

But Yashan even sent him a screenshot of her research, replying innocently, “You’re my brother’s wife. A wife is called sister-in-law. That’s how it works.”

Chen Xiucheng felt like he was going to have a heart attack. Clearly, the root of this problem was Wu Jinshan.

He needed to settle this with that man.
