(UNDER EDITING)UPDATES ON WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY!
Hello! Thank you for reading and supporting ASFSODS. Your comments and support are my extra motivation to update and translate a story. I appreciate it if you can comment:)

The journey to the farmhouse was by a big bus, which took over ten minutes. The ride wound through a mountain road, and the farther they went, the fewer people there were, only trees all around.

The farmhouse was located on top of a small hill. It seemed that the production team had made prior arrangements with the business. As soon as they got off the bus, the manager and attendants were waiting at the entrance to greet them, and they didn’t need to carry their luggage—the staff took care of that.

Zhou Yunbai was shocked and whispered to Yao Yiling, “Wow, is the service at this farmhouse really this good? Even the manager came out to greet us.”

Yao Yiling glanced at the tall attendant behind them carrying their luggage and whispered back, “I don’t know, but isn’t it a bit over the top? It feels a little uncomfortable.”

“Could it be to show respect to the production team?”

“No way. Did you see the decor inside? Also, the manager and attendant’s demeanor? No ordinary farmhouse would compare to this.”

Yao Yiling subtly pointed at Qin Xiyu, “I think it’s more about giving face to President Qin.”

Since Qin Xiyu had been hanging out with them for the past few days, Zhou Yunbai, who had known Qin Xiyu for a while, sometimes forgot about his status as the CEO of the Qin Corporation. After hearing Yao Yiling’s suggestion, Zhou Yunbai thought it was very likely due to Qin Xiyu’s position.

The farmhouse manager, Mr. Wang, led them to their pre-arranged double suites. Zhou Yunbai and Yao Yiling shared one room, while Chen Peizhi looked at Qin Xiyu, meaning he was going to share a room with President Qin.

    Chen Peizhi: … Scared.

Qin Xiyu didn’t mind sharing a room with anyone, as long as it wasn’t the same bed.

However, after seeing the room layout, Chen Peizhi wasn’t scared anymore. Although it was a shared room, there were two separate beds in two small rooms, separated by a thin wall to create two private spaces. There was a wooden door that could be opened to access the other room.

Some people felt relieved when they saw the two small rooms, while others weren’t so pleased. Jiang Siheng stood by the door of the other room, arms crossed expressionless, watching Wen Chi rolling around on the bed.

Wen Chi sighed deeply, hugging the blanket like a child and lamenting, “This bed is so comfortable. Wow, how lucky is it to sleep on such a big and comfortable bed all by myself?”

Jiang Siheng replied in a calm tone, “Very comfortable?”

Wen Chi didn’t pick up on the awkwardness in Jiang Siheng’s tone and nodded, “Super comfortable, not too soft, but also not hard. Teacher Jiang, you should try lying on your bed and experience it.”

Jiang Siheng gave a noncommittal “mm.”

    One second… two seconds… three seconds… four seconds…

Wen Chi blinked, sat up, and looked at Jiang Siheng, tilting his head. Then he seriously commented, “Teacher Jiang, you’re upset.”

Jiang Siheng stared at Wen Chi for a few seconds, then took a few steps forward, bent down, and hugged him, burying his face in Wen Chi’s shoulder and neck. His voice became muffled, “I thought I could sleep with you.”

Wen Chi exclaimed, “We can still sleep together, we’re not in different rooms.”

When Jiang Siheng thought of how Wen Chi had been rolling around alone on the bed so happily, he gritted his teeth and said, “You just said how happy you were to sleep alone on that bed.”

    Wen Chi: “…”

Wen Chi muttered softly, “But it really was comfortable and happy.” Just as he finished speaking, he felt a sharp pain in his earlobe. He couldn’t help but hiss.

Jiang Siheng let go of him.

Wen Chi covered the ear that had been bitten, glared at Jiang Siheng, and said, “You bit me again.”

Jiang Siheng responded unapologetically, “You can bite me back.”

    Wen Chi: “…”

There was a knock at the door twice. Jiang Siheng bent down and kissed Wen Chi on the right side of his face, making a sound, before standing up to open the door.

Wen Chi’s face turned red, touched the spot where he had been kissed, muttering under his breath—whether he was cursing Jiang Siheng or not, he walked out to see who was knocking.

Two staff members were standing outside, holding several pieces of equipment. One of them smiled when they saw Jiang Siheng open the door and said, “Teacher Jiang, we’re here to set up the cameras.”

“Mm.” Jiang Siheng stepped aside to let them in.

Wen Chi came out of the room and asked, “Didn’t you guys install everything in advance?”

The staff member, looking a bit helpless, said, “We originally planned to set everything up the day before, but the manager wouldn’t allow it. He insisted we set it up when we arrived.”

Since the equipment hadn’t been set up in advance, the live broadcast hadn’t started that morning. It wasn’t until the cameras were in place and the guests wore their microphones that the broadcast began.

    Main livestream chat:

[I’ve been dying without the livestream all morning, dying!]

    [Finally, it’s live!!!]

[??? Is this the farmhouse? It’s so nice! The interior decor is so cozy!]

[Ugh, when I take a break, I want to come to Yangyun Island with my friends too.]

[Wow, the environment is so good!]

[Where are the people? Where’s my Chi Bao?]

By the time the equipment was all set up, it was time for lunch. The farmhouse had prepared a lavish spread of green and chemical-free, local dishes, along with freshly squeezed fruit juice that was sweet and sour.

One particular dish, the farmhouse stir-fried pork, was especially popular. The spiciness was just right, allowing everyone to enjoy it. The viewers in the livestream chat felt like they weren’t watching a dating reality show but rather a celebrity eating broadcast.

Wen Chi kept eating meat, and whenever Jiang Siheng added vegetables to his plate, he ate them. If not, he didn’t.

Yao Yiling, sitting opposite him, watched Wen Chi happily eating meat with no guilt and sighed, “Must be nice to have a body that doesn’t gain weight.”

Tong Xian’en, hearing this, glanced at Tian Yang, who was also eating meat and nibbling on salted chicken wings, and agreed, “Indeed.”

Tian Yang felt he could live at this farmhouse for the rest of his life. The environment was great and the food was so delicious so he continued nibbling on his chicken wings.

Tong Xian’en poured tea into Tian Yang’s cup and said, “Stop eating so much meat. Have some vegetables.”

Tian Yang replied with a simple, “Okay,” and obediently added a chopstick of vegetables to his plate.

Meanwhile, Xu Yuqing ate quietly. Even though he heard Tong Xian’en’s suggestion for Tian Yang to eat more vegetables, he remained unmoved.

    Main livestream chat:

    [A-Zhe…]

[What the hell, Tong Xian’en is playing both sides???]

[You’re the one playing both sides, learn to talk]

[Wait, if I remember correctly, there was no new partner selection for this episode, right? Tong Xian’en’s partner is still Xu Yuqing, right? Did I just wake up in the first episode again?]

[Ugh, I feel bad for my A-Yu, Tong Xian’en go die]

[LOL, this is all because A-Yu hasn’t participated in any group activities for days and hasn’t found an opportunity to date his partner. I’ve never seen a dating show guest disappear like this before]

    [Speechless]

After the main meal, the attendant brought out some pre-cut fruit and refilled the tea. Manager Wang walked over, holding a few booklets, his posture dignified and slightly elegant. It felt as though they weren’t in a farmhouse but in a high-end restaurant.

Manager Wang distributed the booklets to the guests and stood by, explaining the leisure activities available at the farmhouse.

Wen Chi looked at the beautifully crafted brochure and exclaimed, “Oh my god, we can catch chickens?”

As soon as Jiang Siheng heard the words “catch chickens,” he frowned, thinking of something that made him uncomfortable.

Manager Wang noticed Wen Chi’s comment, adjusted his glasses, and smiled, “Yes, we have a poultry farm behind our courtyard. If any guests are interested, we have staff members who will guide you in catching chickens.”

Zhou Ruoyao also seemed interested in the activity, “Wow, that sounds exciting.”

Tian Yang nodded, “Sounds kind of cool. The last time I caught chickens was when I was in elementary school at my grandparents’ house. They raised chickens, and sometimes I’d follow my grandfather around to help.”

    Main livestream chat:

[Chi Bao, you might want to take a look at the man sitting next to you!]

[Laughing to death, why does Teacher Jiang look like he ate something awful?]

[Teacher Jiang’s resistance is practically soaking the whole farmhouse.]

[I remember Teacher Jiang has a bit of a cleanliness obsession, but it’s not too serious.]

[Next bet, ladies, will Teacher Jiang go down to catch chickens for Chi Bao?]

[LMAO, going down to catch chickens? That’s hilarious.]

Zhou Ruoyao eagerly said, “Shall we go catch chickens this afternoon? Who wants to join?”

    Tian Yang: “Count me in.”

Wen Chi raised his hand first. “Me, me, me.”

Zhou Yunbai and Yao Yiling were the first to refuse. Qin Xiyu crossed his arms and looked cool, giving off the typical CEO vibe as if to say, “Of course, I’m not going to catch chickens.” Chen Peizhi hesitated, while Tong Xian’en and Xu Yuqing didn’t say anything.

Tian Yang asked Tong Xian’en if he wanted to join, and Tong Xian’en smiled and replied, “I’ll choose to stay here and drink tea.”

Tian Yang looked a bit regretful, saying, “Okay then.”

“Teacher Jiang, what about you?” Wen Chi turned to look at Jiang Siheng, his eyes shining.

If this had been before, Jiang Siheng would have definitely agreed, but this time, he gently patted Wen Chi’s head and said softly, “Be good, you go ahead.”

Wen Chi blinked, “You’re really not going?”

Jiang Siheng withdrew his hand and firmly said, “No.”

Main livestream chat: Looks like Teacher Jiang has chosen to stay high up in the sky.

Manager Wang patiently waited by the side, his attitude impeccable. He glanced at Jiang Siheng and quickly looked away. After a while, once Wen Chi and the others had finished discussing, he asked the staff to note down the guests’ preferences and said, “Since you just had lunch, I wouldn’t recommend going for such an exciting activity right away. How about we take you to the poultry farm an hour later?”

This reasoning was completely acceptable, and Wen Chi nodded, “That’s fine, thank you.”

Manager Wang smiled, “You’re welcome.” He then went on to follow up with other guests about what activities they wanted to try at the farmhouse.

With an hour to kill before the chicken-catching, Wen Chi decided to head back to his room to charge his phone. Zhou Yunbai and the others also gradually went back to their rooms to rest.

Qin Xiyu and Jiang Siheng walked together, their steps calm and deliberate.

Qin Xiyu had overheard Zhou Yunbai and Yao Yiling’s conversation on the way here. He didn’t naively think the farmhouse manager had treated the entire production team well just because of him. Besides, when Manager Wang was introducing the activities, he had stood behind Jiang Siheng, which no one else may have noticed, but Qin Xiyu, being in business, was very aware that despite the seeming general address, the primary focus had been on Jiang Siheng.

Qin Xiyu glanced at the man beside him and asked, “Do you have some connection to this farmhouse? Is it part of your family’s business?”

    “No,” Jiang Siheng replied.

    Qin Xiyu didn’t say anything.

Sure enough, the next second, Jiang Siheng spoke up again, “The owner of this farmhouse is a subsidiary of the Wei Group. A few days ago, I heard my Dad mention that the Wei family intends to discuss cooperation with the Jiang Group and has offered quite a few benefits.”

    Main livestream chat:

[What the heck, is this something I can even hear???]

[I thought President Qin was amazing, but from the way he’s talking, it seems like Movie Emperor Jiang is even more impressive?]
