It took about fifteen minutes. After Kim Abang went off to dance either Zumba or Hula with Seo Taerim, Kim Gwanggong went alone and found Eun Sanho. Eun Sanho was dead drunk, his face buried in a strawberry cake, at a table located on the opposite side from where Kim Gwanggong had originally been.

    “Eun Sanho-ssi.”

Kim Gwanggong lightly shook Eun Sanho’s shoulder.

    “Uuum…”

When Eun Sanho rolled a little to the side on the table, his face, smeared with whipped cream, was revealed.

    “Ugh…”

Without opening his eyes, he groaned and then stuck out his tongue to lick the corner of his mouth.

    “Ugh, it’s sweet…”

After eating some whipped cream, Eun Sanho frowned. Kim Gwanggong silently looked down at him as he mumbled. He thought of something strange, Eun Sanho and whipped cream went together surprisingly well. Especially the cream on his cheeks and forehead, which looked almost like red dots painted on, and it made him laugh a little.

    “Why is it so sweet…”

Eun Sanho licked his lips again as he grumbled. A clump of whipped cream he hadn’t managed to lick off was left white on his upper lip. Kim Gwanggong unconsciously smiled faintly and gently wiped Eun Sanho’s upper lip with his thumb, then brought the finger to his own mouth. It was so sweet that it felt like his tongue would go numb, as if Kim Abang himself had made it.

    “It is sweet.”

Kim Gwanggong frowned slightly and spoke in agreement.

    “Mm…”

Eun Sanho made a sound that was close to a reply, then tossed and turned uncomfortably before stretching out an arm and groping over the table with his hand.

    “I’m thirsty…”

Eun Sanho muttered. Kim Gwanggong picked up the glass that was about five centimeters from the tips of his fingers and put it in his hand. When Eun Sanho felt the cold touch of the glass at his fingertips, he looked around while raising his body.

    “Who’s there…?”

With whipped cream stuck to his eyelashes, his eyes barely opened as he kept glancing around and asked. Kim Gwanggong took a handkerchief from the inside pocket of his jacket, then lightly held Eun Sanho’s cheek in one hand to steady his head that was moving from side to side.

“I’ll wipe it for you, so please stay still for a moment.”

When Kim Gwanggong spoke as if he was coaxing him, Eun Sanho quietly sat up straight. Kim Gwanggong dipped the handkerchief a little into the water in the glass, then wrapped the damp part thinly around his index finger. He shifted his gaze to Eun Sanho’s small face held in his large hand.

The whipped cream that had been on the center of his forehead had flowed down onto his eyelids after he lifted his head, so first he placed his finger on the forehead and rubbed in circles to wipe away the remaining trace of the cream dot. Then he slid his finger downward and gently wiped along the trail of cream that had dripped, cleaning his eyebrows and eyelids. As the white clumps were wiped away, Eun Sanho’s thin long eyelashes appeared. Since a pale white color still remained, it seemed not everything had been cleaned off.

Kim Gwanggong slowly moved his finger along the line of the closed eyelids to wipe away the residue clinging to the lashes. His finger followed the curve of the eyelid, slowly scraping off the cream, and stopped at the small faint mole below the corner of his eye. There was no cream left near his eyes now. Everything on the eyelids had been wiped off, and the skin near the corner of his eyes, including the mole, had been clean from the start.

But unconsciously, Kim Gwanggong pressed and wiped gently over the soft skin of the mole. Maybe because of the intoxication, heat had risen around his eyes, and strangely only that spot felt hot. The tender flesh had a soft texture that was addictive. The wiping hand moved once, then twice, then a third time. And during that, he thought the cloth wrapped around his finger was bothersome.

‘If I peel off just one layer.’

Kim Gwanggong’s eyes grew darker as he pressed gently at the corner of Eun Sanho’s eye for the fourth time, and Eun Sanho suddenly let out a low hum.

    “Mm…”

Eun Sanho, with his eyes still closed, smiled faintly. And Kim Gwanggong neither lifted his finger nor continued as he had been, but stopped completely and stared at the curve of Eun Sanho’s mouth. He didn’t want to take his finger away, but if he did, he felt like his hand would go to that mouth instead.

    “You know…”

Eun Sanho started speaking in a slurred tone, unable to pronounce the ending clearly. Kim Gwanggong said nothing and forced his gaze away from his mouth’s corner to meet Eun Sanho’s eyes.

    “That’s just a mole…”

Eun Sanho whispered, kindly informing him. But even after Eun Sanho revealed what for him was a grand secret all on his own, Kim Gwanggong still didn’t take his hand away and only stared at him, so Eun Sanho soon tilted his head.

    “It’s true, you know…?”

Eun Sanho blinked as he spoke.

    “…I see.”

Kim Gwanggong gave his reply a little late, clenching the handkerchief into his palm and pulling his hand down.

    “Did you maybe get fooled?”

Eun Sanho pointed at the tear mole and asked playfully.

Kim Gwanggong, watching the faint wrinkles form over the bridge of his nose whenever he laughed, nodded once as a sign of agreement.

“Ahaha, sometimes I get fooled too~”

Even as he said that, Eun Sanho burst out laughing, as if it was funny that Kim Gwanggong mistook the mole for dirt, even though in truth he had made no such mistake.

    “…Can you see clearly now?”

Kim Gwanggong, hiding his tightly clenched hand behind his back with veins standing out, asked in a flat voice.

    “Yes~!”

    “That’s good.”

    “I think so too!”

Even though his speech was slurred from intoxication, Eun Sanho agreed with a silly grin.

“If you hadn’t wiped it, it really would have been the worst day ever~”

    “…The worst day?”

Kim Gwanggong furrowed his brow and asked back. Eun Sanho opened his eyes slightly. His flushed cheeks swelled with growing dissatisfaction, as if he was recalling the ‘worst day.’ But within a few seconds, he exhaled hard as if deciding something, deflating his cheeks, and crossed his arms.

“Fine. Since I trust Kang-ssi1… I’ll tell you what happened today. Because if a kind person like Kang-ssi goes through the same thing I did, that wouldn’t be good. So I’m telling you specially…”

Eun Sanho lowered his voice and leaned his body toward Kim Gwanggong.

    “Kang Ggong-ssi…”

    “Yes.”

“Don’t you know, these days… people are really good at walking on two legs?”

Eun Sanho asked seriously. Kim Gwanggong turned his gaze away for a moment to hold back his laughter. Fortunately, the black night sea wasn’t as funny as Eun Sanho.

“…I do know, to some extent.”

Kim Gwanggong looked back at Eun Sanho with a blank face and gave his answer a beat late.

“Ah, really? How do you know?”

Eun Sanho asked in surprise at the unexpected reply.

“It’s not something you can easily read in the latest bulletins, but I’ve read many of Secretary Ha’s confidential reports.”

Kim Gwanggong thought this much wasn’t a lie and answered as honestly as he could.

    “Ahh… as expected, Bomi-ssi…”

Eun Sanho nodded seriously, then suddenly looked up at Kim Gwanggong. Even while swaying unsteadily with the rhythm often seen in drunkards, his finger pointing straight up was impressive.

“But even if you know, you can still get caught in two-timing2, so be careful, understand? Okay?”

    “…Two-timing, you said?”

    “Yes~ Always beware of two-timing~”

Eun Sanho kept chanting ‘beware of two-timing’ like a slogan, grinning foolishly.

    “…….”

Kim Gwanggong looked at him with a stiff serious expression. Eun Sanho’s smiling face didn’t look happy, and it was clear what had happened.

“That person you said you were supposed to meet today… they were two-timing you?”

Kim Gwanggong asked. At that, Eun Sanho beamed and stretched both arms wide.

“Yes! This bastard was two-timing~, that bastard was two-timing~, those crazy bastards this much~”

Eun Sanho emphasized ‘this much’ a couple of times, then lost his balance from spreading his arms too wide. Kim Gwanggong quickly caught him.

    “Ah… thank you…”

Half leaning on Kim Gwanggong, Eun Sanho lowered his head with a lonely nod and expressed his gratitude.

“It would be better if you sat properly.”

Kim Gwanggong carefully seated him back in the chair, holding his shoulder. Sitting where he was led, Eun Sanho made an OK sign with his fingers as if to say he understood. Then he pulled both legs up onto the chair and curled himself up. But his shoes were nowhere to be found again, and only thin ankle socks covered his small feet.

    “This is driving me crazy…”

Kim Gwanggong sighed, took off his jacket, and wrapped it around Eun Sanho.

“Stay here for just a moment. I’ll bring water and a blanket. It’ll only take one minute.”

    “Mm… Ging Gang Gong-ssi…”

    “Do you need anything else?”

“Ging Gang Gong-ssi… haven’t you ever watched a romance movie with your lover?”

    “I haven’t.”

Kim Gwanggong fastened the jacket securely as he answered.

“I have so many, you know… And on a day like this… I start to think about them… My favorite one… that is… the one I love the most… the one I… love… the most…”

Eun Sanho mumbled, nodding his head. Kim Gwanggong worried he might topple to the side, but it seemed better than letting him freeze to death like this.

“You must stay here and not go anywhere.”

Kim Gwanggong straightened the bangs that had fallen over his face and urged him firmly.

    “Yeeees…”

Kim Gwanggong looked once at Eun Sanho bundled up in the jacket like a swaddled baby, then quickly stood and stepped away.

‘The place with the blankets was around the corner…’

As he rushed around the corner, recalling where the blanket shelf was, something grabbed his ankle.

Because of it, he nearly fell, and when he looked down in annoyance, the annoyance quickly turned into disbelief. The thing grabbing his ankle was none other than Secretary Ha Bomi’s hand.

    “Secretary Ha?”

Kim Gwanggong said in astonishment. Dressed in a flashy hot pink suit, Ha Bomi was lying sprawled on the floor, completely unfitting with her outfit, clutching Kim Gwanggong’s ankle.

“Aigo, why are you only coming now…”

Ha Bomi spoke in a weakened voice.

“And what exactly is Secretary Ha doing… on the floor?”

“Does that matter…? Hurry, go and catch… him.”

Ha Bomi spoke with difficulty, but with an urgent tone.

    “What did you say?”

Kim Gwanggong raised his eyebrows, and Ha Bomi let out a long sigh.

    “Ha… I said catch him….”

    “Catch what?”

When Kim Gwanggong asked again, Ha Bomi-ssi, who was already exhausted and now forced to say the same thing for the third time, felt her blood pressure rise.

“Ah seriously, I said catch that movie maniac!”

Ha Bomi-ssi shouted, squeezing out the last of her strength.

    “Who is that…?”

Kim Gwanggong began to ask, then suddenly felt a chill and quickly turned around. Then he saw Eun Sanho, who had somehow climbed over the railing and was now spreading his arms precariously, reenacting a scene from a famous movie. His posture was straight, so the resemblance was quite good, but if there was one difference, it was that there was no one there to catch Eun Sanho.

    “Eun Sanho-ssi!”

Kim Gwanggong shouted in shock, and Eun Sanho turned around and grinned foolishly.

    “Ging Gang Gong-ssi~.”

    “What the…!”

“It’s nice up here~. Ging Gang Gong-ssi, you should come up too~”

Eun Sanho said that while waving his hand widely toward Kim Gwanggong. And at the same time, with the recoil of the wave, his body tilted and he fell backward.

    “O…?”

    Eun Sanho’s eyes widened slightly.

    “Eun Sanho!!!”

Kim Gwanggong shouted his name and kicked off the floor, jumping forward.
