BOSF 044: Intimate Moment
by cloudiesJi Yan was momentarily stunned by the kiss, not expecting Xiang Yang to chase after him. All his jealousy melted away in that kiss, leaving only overwhelming affection. He missed Xiang Yang so much that he couldn’t help but want to kiss back. But out of the corner of his eye, he noticed someone nearby, and in a panic, he pushed Xiang Yang away, helping him up from the grass.
When Shen Xiuqing approached, she saw the boy’s face flushed red, his flustered demeanor somewhat endearing. The moment she witnessed their kiss, she understood—she had been mistaken all along. Ji Yan wasn’t a girl; it was all her imagination. Though shocked that the person Xiang Yang cared about was a boy, she wasn’t entirely unfamiliar with such situations. She quickly adjusted, offering a friendly smile. “So you’re Ji Yan. Xiang Yang talks about you all the time.”
Ji Yan instinctively glanced at Xiang Yang, who was staring at him intensely, as if locking him in place with his gaze.
Shen Xiuqing asked, “Which character is your name? How do you write it?”
Being caught kissing was embarrassing, especially with Xiang Yang staring so blatantly. Ji Yan’s face grew redder, and he shyly avoided Shen Xiuqing’s eyes. “It’s the Yan with stone on the left and see on the right.”
Shen Xiuqing smiled warmly. “Sorry, I didn’t recognize you earlier. I thought you were… It’s not convenient to talk here. Shall we go inside?”
Though Ji Yan had felt a twinge of jealousy earlier, Shen Xiuqing’s gracious and open demeanor, devoid of any flirtation with Xiang Yang, made him feel at ease. Realizing he’d overthought things, he grew even more embarrassed, his cheeks staying flushed.
Shen Xiuqing canceled Xiang Yang’s afternoon class and took them to a restaurant. It was past mealtime, so the place was empty—perfect for a chat. She briefly explained how she’d sought out Xiang Yang and detailed her plans to mentor him. Ji Yan listened attentively, asking questions when something wasn’t clear, showing genuine care for Xiang Yang, unlike his parents. At the end, he stood and gave Shen Xiuqing a slight bow. “Thank you for looking after Xiang Yang. Please continue to guide him.”
Shen Xiuqing was a bit surprised but understood why Xiang Yang was so attached to Ji Yan. Though not a girl, he was kind and charming in his own way. When she asked how Ji Yan had come here, he was vague. She sensed he hadn’t received the contact details she’d left with Li Lilian and had gone to great lengths to find this remote place, driven by simple worry. Their sincerity toward each other, even at their young age, was clear.
Feeling both touched and a little envious—especially after witnessing their affection—Shen Xiuqing realized she’d taken up enough of their time. Teasingly, she said, “I’ll get going. You two catch up. Xiang Yang’s eyes are practically glued to you, Ji Yan. If I don’t leave, he might start glaring at me.”
Ji Yan, unsure how to respond, flushed even more as Xiang Yang continued staring unabashedly, as if ready to lean in again.
After Shen Xiuqing left, Ji Yan turned to face Xiang Yang. After six months apart, Xiang Yang seemed different—shorter hair, new clothes, a subtle shift in his demeanor. He was even more handsome, though Ji Yan couldn’t pinpoint exactly how. Smiling, Ji Yan reached out to touch his face and leaned in for a kiss filled with longing.
By the time Ji Yan arrived, it was already afternoon. After talking with Shen Xiuqing, it was nearly evening. With the kitchen staff preparing dinner soon, it wasn’t the time for intimate moments. Ji Yan took the chance to walk with Xiang Yang around the area, getting a feel for the surroundings. The studio had dorms, but few people lived there. Unlike crowded school or company dorms, these were spacious individual rooms, reflecting how much the company valued its signed employees.
At dinner, Shen Xiuqing invited Ji Yan to join them. Though there were only a dozen or so staff, the atmosphere was warm and familial. Seeing this, Ji Yan felt truly at ease.
After dinner, everyone dispersed. Shen Xiuqing, who didn’t live on-site, was driving home. Before leaving, she suggested Ji Yan stay and share Xiang Yang’s room, winking playfully, making Ji Yan blush again. He hadn’t planned to leave that night anyway—it was too far, and there were no evening buses. He’d have to stay in a hotel otherwise. He was curious about Xiang Yang’s dorm, which looked like a charming little cabin from the outside, with white-painted walls and a sloped roof.
Xiang Yang led Ji Yan to his dorm, unlocking the door. As Ji Yan stepped inside, curiously looking around, Xiang Yang closed the door and hugged him from behind the moment the light was turned on.
“Xiang Yang?” Now truly alone, with no one to interrupt, Ji Yan felt inexplicably nervous, hesitant to turn and meet Xiang Yang’s gaze. The arm around his waist tightened, and Ji Yan was gently pushed against the wall. Warm breath brushed his ear, followed by soft lips—Xiang Yang was kissing his ear.
Ji Yan’s ears turned red, the flush spreading to his neck as the intimate atmosphere intensified, making him nervous. He thought dazedly, Is Xiang Yang always this bold?
Xiang Yang continued nibbling his ear, almost seductively, whispering words that sent shivers down Ji Yan’s spine: “Practice…”
It was obvious what he meant—their one and only time together before parting. Ji Yan felt his body heat up. He wasn’t unfamiliar with the idea, but hearing it from Xiang Yang made him shy. Too flustered to respond, he let Xiang Yang kiss his ear until lips moved toward his cheek. Finally, he turned, meeting Xiang Yang’s dark, intense eyes in the dim light.
After a brief, silent exchange, as if reaching an unspoken agreement, their lips met again. Ji Yan slowly turned to face Xiang Yang, one hand on his shoulder, the other around his neck. The kiss was intense, both of them breathless, as if making up for the time apart. Their lips clung together, reluctant to part, until they were both nearly out of breath and had to pull back.
Ji Yan’s lips were red and warm, still carrying the heat of Xiang Yang’s. His face flushed, his mind dizzy as he thought, How did Xiang Yang learn so fast?
Xiang Yang’s gaze was deep, focused solely on Ji Yan, as if he were the only person in the world. Ji Yan realized what had changed—Xiang Yang’s eyes, his demeanor, even his subtle gestures now mirrored the way people act when in love.
“Xiang Yang…” Only Ji Yan knew how significant this was. His nose stung, tears threatening to fall. But before they could, Xiang Yang kissed him again, his hand sliding from Ji Yan’s waist to his hips, slipping under the fabric to touch hidden skin.
Ji Yan trembled, letting out a soft sound. Unable to cry now, he leaned weakly against the wall as Xiang Yang’s hands roamed. Turning his head, eyes still misty, he tried to break free from the intoxicating kiss. “Xiang Yang… wait… I haven’t…”
His voice was barely a whisper, his face burning, feeling Xiang Yang’s arousal pressing against him. “I haven’t cleaned…”
Xiang Yang, unfamiliar with the process, frowned in confusion. Ji Yan, unwilling to let things proceed unprepared, coaxed gently, “Wait… it’ll be quick… let me go, okay?”
He kissed Xiang Yang softly, then grabbed supplies from his backpack and hurried to the bathroom, face red with embarrassment. He’d anticipated this and prepared, though he felt shy about it.
Xiang Yang tried to follow, but Ji Yan pushed him out, locking the door. After cleaning and showering, Ji Yan worried Xiang Yang might have lost interest. Wrapped in Xiang Yang’s bathrobe, he stepped out nervously.
Xiang Yang, sitting on the bed staring at the bathroom door, stood immediately upon seeing Ji Yan. He crossed the room, pulling Ji Yan into his arms, eager to continue.
This time, Ji Yan didn’t resist. Xiang Yang’s hands slipped under the bathrobe, touching bare skin. Ji Yan wasn’t wearing anything underneath. Embarrassed but unresisting, he let Xiang Yang’s hands explore, fingers brushing between his cheeks and finding the still-damp entrance, slipping inside without hesitation.
“Mmph…” Ji Yan let out a muffled sound, feeling unsteady. He guided Xiang Yang toward the bed, intending to take the lead, but Xiang Yang was faster, pinning him down. Before Ji Yan could react, his bathrobe was lifted, legs spread, his body already responding, glistening from the cleaning.
Feeling Xiang Yang’s intense gaze, Ji Yan’s face burned again. But Xiang Yang, as if recalling a checklist, pressed a finger to the entrance, pushing in to stretch him. “Going in…”
Ji Yan froze, mortified. Don’t say it out loud! He pulled Xiang Yang down, silencing him with a kiss.
