Once, a little lamb got lost and wandered into a chicken coop.

When the little chick followed its mother hen to eat feed in the morning, it saw the little lamb. When it returned to the grassy field to play in the afternoon, it saw the little lamb again.

The little lamb just stood there all day without leaving. It seemed a bit dazed.

The little chick looked at the little lamb curiously but didn’t go near.

The next day, the little lamb was still standing there. When it was hungry, it ate the weeds next to the coop. When it was thirsty, it drank the water in the coop. When it was tired, it lay down to sleep beside the coop.

The little lamb wasn’t aggressive, so the mother hen didn’t chase it away.

Every day, the little chick had to follow its mother hen after waking up—following her to eat and to play. Its whole life revolved around its mother. So, the little chick thought that perhaps the little lamb didn’t have a mother to love it.

One day, the little chick broke away from the flock and couldn’t resist approaching the little lamb.

The little lamb was so big, it looked like it could flatten the chick with one step. But the little chick wasn’t afraid. It raised its head and met the little lamb’s gaze.

One time, the little chick overheard the farm owner talking to a friend about the lamb. Because the lamb was frail, its mother had abandoned it. The mother lamb didn’t want it, but the little chick did.

After that, the little chick went to find the little lamb every day.

At first, the lamb paid no attention to the chick. But as days went by, the chick kept coming to see it. Gradually, the lamb began to lower its head to play with the little chick.

The little chick and the little lamb finally became friends.

When the little chick ran after its mother hen, the little lamb would follow behind the little chick. When the little chick was bullied by other chickens, the little lamb would stand behind it to show support.

When it rained, the flock of chickens would hide in the coop, but the little lamb would use its own body to shield the little chick from the rain.

When the little lamb was resting on the ground, the little chick would hop into its embrace.

The little chick and the little lamb were inseparable.

One time, while playing, the little chick fell into a pond. It hadn’t learned how to swim yet and flapped its wings in a panic. The little lamb saw this, rushed over immediately, and stepped into the water to rescue the chick.

The little chick was soaked, dripping water from all over, and shivering from the cold.

After licking the little chick’s yellow fluff dry, the little lamb also gave its cute little bottom a lick.
