by LiliumChapter 12 Bruises
…
It was dark all around. Yu Xiaowen touched the edge of the bed, fell backwards, then undressed and instinctively took care of himself. He felt that this time it was very intense, and his palms were all wet.
The squelching sound sounded a bit disgusting, and if he was still sane, he would always feel ashamed. The sound of water was a proof that Yu Xiaowen’s body was inferior and sickly, different from that of ordinary people.
But today his brain seemed to be more dull, and even the sense of shame was absent. He just wanted to go crazy. He wanted to relieve himself quickly, to make himself feel a little better, even a little bit.
Amidst the long and increasingly rapid squelching sound, a light appeared in the darkness in front of him. Yu Xiaowen subconsciously stretched his neck to look over there. He saw the gap in the light widen, and then a silhouette of a person appeared in the middle. The figure walked towards him.
…Ah.
He suddenly realized that this was a dream.
Just like many times in the past when he fell into a coma due to lack of medicine during heat, he had that kind of dream again.
Using the dim light, the protagonist walked over to him, sat down, and placed some things on the bedside table beside him.
As Yu Xiaowen moved, he watched his face in the dim light: “You… just arrived, and I’ve been doing it myself for ages.”
The protagonist watched his movements for a moment, but didn’t reach for the light. With the light filtering through, they stared at each other in the dimness.
“Yu Xiaowen, sit up,” the protagonist said.
Yu Xiaowen immediately stood up, then rolled over to push the protagonist down, his hands thrashing. The protagonist grabbed his hand, firmly: “Don’t touch me. Your inhibitor is on the table.”
“…” This guy. Yu Xiaowen smiled helplessly: “I have you… and why do I need an inhibitor?”
He tugged again, and the protagonist slapped his hand away. It was so heartless.
“…” Yu Xiaowen pouted. Dreams aren’t entirely controlled by us. Sometimes you want things to go east, but they insist on going west. The Lu Kongyun in the dream was also a stubborn person. Clearly, it was a product of his own mind, but most of the time, he refused to cooperate with his own enjoyment.
Yu Xiaowen pulled his gun from its buttstock, lowered the safety, and pressed it against the gland under the man’s cheek. “Sir, I’m feeling… uncomfortable today. Extremely uncomfortable. Cooperate… and be obedient.”
The man seemed genuinely intimidated, remaining motionless for a long moment. Then he asked, “Aren’t you criminal police supposed to surrender your weapons after work?”
“We have a special case right now, so we won’t.” Still holding the gun to him, Yu Xiaowen leaned over and bit the man’s lower lip.
His warm breath paused briefly, but there was no sound.
He bit again, and then began a real kiss. Though he had little experience in real life, it was simple in the dream. He pushed in as far as he could, and clung to him as relentlessly as he could. That was enough.
Perhaps wary of the gun, the man pinched his waist but didn’t push him away.
The kiss in the dream was so pleasurable that Yu Xiaowen felt like he was melting, and the need to get down to business was even greater. After a while of nibbling, he leaned against his chest and tried to sit up. As they separated, the bite stung the tip of his tongue.
Then the protagonist asked him, “Are you going to order me to do it again?”
Yu Xiaowen poked his gland with the gun: “Otherwise… you won’t listen… to your superior.”
“I will. I’ll do it with you.” The protagonist felt his wet fingers, paused, then continued to lift the gun barrel: “Take it away. My vision is blurry, it’s dangerous.”
Yu Xiaowen’s silence was tacit consent. The protagonist then slowly removed the gun from his hand, locked the safety, and tossed it to the other side of the bed. Then the protagonist sat up, looking at the person sitting on him, their eyes locked.
“I like this position now,” Yu Xiaowen whispered mysteriously, pointing his finger upwards, right at the protagonist’s nose, just inches away. “But you can’t do it directly. You have to do it the normal way first.”
“You like it,” the protagonist asked after two seconds. “So you always use this position?”
“Bullshit,” he gruffly puffed his breath in the other person’s face. “The doctor told me that this is the only way to pry open the lid inside me.”
He made a rocket-launching gesture with his hands, his expression serious.
Yu Xiaowen was quite honest with Lu Kongyun in his dream. Because… he felt he had a right to know.
The protagonist thought for a moment and said, “Omega reproductive tract obstruction or malposition is often associated with glandular issues. What’s wrong with your glands?”
Yu Xiaowen nibbled the protagonist’s chin, then continued, “Come on. I’m in pain. I want it.”
Yu Xiaowen nuzzled the glands beneath the protagonist’s cheek and inhaled.
The protagonist’s pheromones weren’t a scent to him, but an emotion. And he found this emotion truly wonderful. Blissful and fulfilling.
Yu Xiaowen’s vision blurred, the hairs on his body stood on end. So he intensified his efforts. He scrubbed this plump, blissful fruit with his pheromone-laden saliva. Yu Xiaowen was shameless. If this weren’t a dream, treating the opposite sex’s glands like this would have made him a tyrant.
He sniffed, his words slurring and eager, “Feed your pheromones to my… body. More…”
The protagonist pushed him down on the bed. Yu Xiaowen was nearly crushed. He felt hot breaths slapping at the back of his neck, sharp canine teeth pressing against him, and then a moment later, the pain in his arm. Like a mosquito bite, it was a familiar feeling. An inhibitor injection.
“…Are you crazy?” Even in his dreams, Yu Xiaowen had never seen such an unromantic Lu Kongyun. Why would he inject an inhibitor into someone who wanted to have a good time in such a beautiful bed? Did he deserve it?!
He wanted to break free from his embrace and sit up, wanting to at least get the first dose out before the passion subsided. His vision was poor and he was dazed. He suddenly got up and almost slipped to the ground. The protagonist seemed to subconsciously reach out his hands, grabbing Yu Xiaowen’s waist, and yanking back, pulling to the head, until he crashed into himself.
The cool iron buckle of a belt pressed tightly against Yu Xiaowen’s lower back beneath his disheveled shirt, and then a hand reached around to replace his. Yu Xiaowen’s back suddenly stiffened, and he uttered a sound.
“Don’t make that sound.” He turned back, and his mouth was bitten, as if to silence or punish him.
He endured the pain as a bitter smell, mixed with omega pheromones filled the room.
…
The blackmailer looked tired, and fell asleep exhausted. However, he was nudged awake by Lu Kongyun.
The blackmailer frowned and slowly opened his eyes. Lu Kongyun held his phone screen to him, showing him the countdown to half an hour.
The blackmailer’s face was illuminated by the screen, and he squinted his light eyes, then glanced at the sky that was about to brighten behind the gauze curtains. He paused as if recalling something, and chuckled: “So, you’ve been messing with my phone all night. Did you find anything interesting?”
“…” Lu Kongyun didn’t answer. The blackmailer took the phone, hid it under the covers, and entered the password.
Lu Kongyun silently lifted the quilt to look.
The blackmailer pushed the man out, turned over, went to the other side to enter the password, then reached out and showed him the reset time: “Okay.”
After a while, Lu Kongyun said, “I think your countdown is an ineffective trick.”
The blackmailer poked his head out from under the covers. “Why do you say that?”
“Because you don’t seem to care about the deadline.”
“Why should I care about the deadline?” the blackmailer laughed. “It’s not a video of me having sex with someone.”
Lu Kongyun lowered his eyelids and cast a downward glare at the blackmailer. “But when the video is uploaded, you’ll lose your leverage, and that will be your death.”
Lu Qingchuan would not let anyone who spread his video go. There was no doubt about it.
The blackmailer’s smile faded, leaving only a hint at the corner of his mouth. He cast an upward glare, as if trying to create an expression even more unpleasant than his own. “Don’t scare me. I don’t care what you say, so you can’t control me.”
Lu Kongyun studied him. The blackmailer climbed up again, half-supporting his arm on the pillow. “If you don’t believe me, next time the time comes, let’s witness this great moment together. You haven’t even seen the full video, have you?”
Lu Kongyun’s eyes grew even colder. The blackmailer lay down and pulled the covers back on.
“That video of your dad doting on the bearded guy is a classic. I didn’t expect this Alpha to be even more wild than an Omega when he gets hot.”
Lu Kongyun glanced at the freshly changed sheets without replying.
Then he stood up, preparing to leave.
“Lu Kongyun,” the blackmailer called him. “Come here.”
Lu Kongyun turned to look at him.
The blackmailer beckoned him closer. So he sat back down on the bed.
“What?”
“Are you letting go of last night’s trap and kidnapping?” the blackmailer asked.
Lu Kongyun thought that the blackmailer’s password proved he wouldn’t let this happen and destroy his bargaining chip. But it didn’t seem like he was going to let it go.
“What else do you want to do? Do you still think I owe you something? That I shouldn’t have done it?” Lu Kongyun asked.
“Are you being sarcastic? Yeah, good. I just love seeing you lose control. How cute,” the blackmailer said.
Then, half revealing his face, he commanded, “Come here and kiss me.”
“…”
Lu Kongyun, his arms resting on the pillow, leaned forward. The blackmailer looked up at him.
The blackmailer’s lips were still slightly swollen.
He looked away, kissed the blackmailer’s cheek, and left.
“… Say, say ‘Goodnight, sweetheart.'” The blackmailer covered half his face and whispered another command.
Lu Kongyun half-opened his mouth, then closed it again. He pursed his lips and glanced at the sky, which was turning pale. “It’s almost dawn. Goodnight?”
“Then say ‘Good morning, sweetheart.'”
“…”
“Good morning.”
He tightened his lips for a moment. Then he said, “Sweetheart.”
The blackmailer: “Together.”
Lu Kongyun: “What?”
“Kiss me. And then say ‘Good morning, sweetheart.'”
Lu Kongyun didn’t move.
The blackmailer: “Doctor Lu, as an S-class Alpha, with your talent in pheromone function and your high level of ethical application, you really deserve a promotion and a raise.”
Lu Kongyun clenched his fingers. He didn’t get any useful information from the blackmailer, but his own emotional control threshold continued to decline.
He kissed the blackmailer on the face and said, “Good morning, sweetheart.”
The blackmailer slowly hid his entire face in the quilt.
“Is that it?” Lu Kongyun asked.
“I’ll deal with you. Just wait.” After a while, the blackmailer made a sound from under the quilt.
Lu Kongyun stood up and went to the door. He thought of something and turned around and said, “If there is anything you need the Lu family’s power to do for you, I will have to help you under threat. But try not to bring your colleagues to the unit to see me in the future.”
Lu Kongyun had a morning meeting today. He entered the meeting room and everyone greeted him. After taking his seat, he found a document on the table, which was the approval document for the previous new drug experiment. He opened it and found that it was returned by the Military Affairs Department and the Ministry of Finance.
He was stunned for a moment, frowning, and asked the assistant lab technician beside him, “What’s going on? Why hold a meeting if the document has been returned?”
“Uh…” the assistant lab technician replied, “I’ve been to the Ministry of Finance and the Military Affairs Department twice, but they said Director Chen is on a business trip and not in Manchester. He hasn’t returned yet.”
“It doesn’t have to be approved by the director himself. A joint signature from subordinate departments is also fine, don’t you know?”
“Well, I…” The assistant lab technician looked at his expression and nodded hesitantly, wanting to say something but stopping himself. “Director Lu… why don’t we call and ask again?”
Lu Kongyun was silent for a moment, then said, “You guys start first.”
The projection screen turned on, and a participant was explaining something.
Lu Kongyun left the meeting room and called Lu Qingchuan. When the other party picked up, he said directly, “The new drug project application has been returned.”
Lu Qingchuan could be heard tidying up his desk. Then Lu Qingchuan said, “Director Chen is indeed on a business trip, and Ms. Chen works at the Ministry of Finance. You can handle this kind of thing on your own; you don’t need to ask me for permission.”
Lu Kongyun: “What did you ask me to do?”
Lu Qingchuan: “What did I ask you to do? Don’t act like I’m forcing you.”
Lu Kongyun remained silent. After a moment, Lü Qingchuan said, “Xiaoyun, I’m just saying there’s no need to rush. Wait until you meet with Ms. Chen and sign the agreement. It won’t interfere with your work or personal matters.”
Lu Kongyun: “Where is it?”
After hanging up, Lu Qingchuan’s assistant texted him the address of a high-end restaurant.
Lu Kongyun walked back to the conference room and sat down. He remained expressionless, but he threw his phone on the table, making a loud noise.
The speaker immediately fell silent. He said, “Continue.”
The phone on the table vibrated again. He reached out his index finger and tapped it.
It wasn’t Lu Qingchuan, but the blackmailer.
He opened the message with a cold face.
艹: Lu Kongyun, you fucking bastard! You abused me while I was unconscious? Are you human?
“…”
Lu Kongyun replied: Are you fucking insane?
The profanity didn’t need to be spoken aloud; the psychological toll wasn’t too hard to bear.
艹: [Picture]
The small picture shows a pale and smooth waistline.
Lu Kongyun immediately picked up the phone. He glanced at both sides, moved the stool back a little, and turned the screen upright.
The skin in the picture did have some blue bruises.
He frowned and thought, then typed: You fell down when you went upstairs.
