Regarding the Conclusion of the Main Story:
In my personal opinion, ending the main story at the climax of the enthronement is more fitting, providing a contrast to the initial acquaintance. As for the subsequent wrapping up of loose ends, I plan to present them in fragments as extras. Scenes such as the dual reign of the two sages, some cute daily moments, and the grand wedding will still be written. However, following the timeline would be too tedious. The political storyline has been mostly covered, and writing further might become monotonous, giving the impression of exhausting all creativity and forcing filler content. Additionally, there are numerous characters, and describing their endings in detail would be tedious and weaken the impact of the climax that has been foreshadowed and built up.
Moreover, although Xie Yi did not appear during the climax, his efforts and preparations were reflected through various details, imperial edicts, and the phoenix fireworks, highlighting his influence indirectly. I believe that portraying it this way conveys more power and impact than having the protagonist directly express love. However, considering the opinions of the angels, a complete and perfect ceremony provides a sense of closure. Therefore, I added a small epilogue of the Emperor’s return to the capital and the couple sharing the imperial carriage.
I will continue to strive to write a satisfying conclusion in the extras, so please be patient. I will try my best tomorrow, Sunday.
