[Yante] Why is ‘AssaGO’ from the Human guild on the Yante server going around beating up newbies;;;?

    Hi, I’m AlwaysSoGod from the Yante serverㅠㅠ;;;

    There’s this person named AssaGO who keeps hunting me down and killing me, and I seriously don’t know whyㅅㅂ;

    It’s honestly really upsetting, so I’m exposing them here to warn other newbies;;;;

I saw the server-wide chat and was shocked… They were promoting a “bounty,” offering 300 gold per kill if people killed me and showed proof.

I really have no idea what this bastard’s deal is. We’ve never even talked, I don’t know them at allㅠ

I looked them up on the homepage and they’re a max-level Dark Assassin ranker. Is it okay for someone that high-level to just go around killing newbies who barely reached level 30?

I even asked why they were killing me, but they didn’t say anything, just kept doing it;; I get killed every time I respawn, over and over. I can’t even go near the PVP zone anymore…

But I need to go there for the main quest, and every time I try, I get killed, so I literally can’t play the game.

When I searched the drama board, I saw other members from their guild exposed too. I didn’t check everything, but it doesn’t seem like a very decent guild.

So I’m posting this to warn everyone: be careful of the Human guild.

Below are screenshots of them repeatedly killing me for no reason, and the server-wide chat where they were placing bounties on a poor newbie.

Seriously, don’t live like that. This is insane…ㅠ

MomIStarvedToday: Just keep living like that lol dumb*** piece of trash lmao AssaGO fighting~^^

MyBabyGoesInAndOut: LOL is the top comment a joke?

zlGodlyControl: AssaGO? That guy’s nice though;; He helped me when I was a newbie, cleared quests with me, even gave me gear lol

DischargedSoon: Whoa, me too lol I was a support newbie who couldn’t even kill wolves, and he invited me to a party and helped me kill them

RaiseYourRuler: Ah~ Wolves are legit. Hardest mob for newbies. If he helped with that, he’s seriously an angel~

zlGodlyControl: Wait, I’m a support too lololol What the heck, he’s a good guy

DischargedSoon: Feels like the poster is the one in the wrong lol

zlGodlyControl: People are saying he’s a gold scammer

DischargedSoon: LOL comedy gold, justice served

Sususususu: Yeah, OP is a known gold scammer. Probably got caught scamming someone again. Try living properly for once.

ZoomZoomZoom: He threatened me too, said he’d kill me if I didn’t stay out of the PVP zoneㅡㅡ

YeohooHae: Hah~ I’m from the Human guild. Didn’t you chase around and harass one of our newbie members? We even have screenshots. Now you’re trying to twist the story? lol You shady bastard, always putting on a show and running your mouth lmao

SoftRiceCake: Seriously, that’s messed up; you better watch your back

    ZoomZoomZoom: I never did that;;;

SoftRiceCake: ?The newbie you were harassing was from our guild lol We already shared the screenshots, and now you’re pretending it didn’t happen? How’s it feel living like this? Want us to post your drama board thread too?

YeohooHae: Watch your back, dumbass lol

13thBlade: LMAOOOO from top to bottom this is pure comedy. No wonder sketch shows are dying.

DoItMoon: This guy once sold me broken gear. I only realized it after the fact, but I didn’t have screenshots so I couldn’t report himㅠㅠ

He goes around scamming clueless newbies. Be careful, Yante server “AlwaysSoGod” << he sells heavily damaged gear to newbies for gold. Total garbage. AssaGO FTW^^!!

LetsGoToYourPlace: Yeah, the Human guild is pretty rough with their words, but they don’t pull scummy crap. I once did a raid with them in a public party, they totally trashed some slacker, but afterward they handled loot and gold distribution really fairly. They’re all cracked at the game and super geared. No way they’d bother messing with newbies lol

Yuchae: For real. I also did a public raid with them before. Everyone was top-tier and had tons of stuff to do. Why would they waste their time hunting down newbies? Judging by the comments, OP looks like a scammer. This is justice being served lol

IAmTheTank: If I were you, I’d be too embarrassed to keep the post up lolol

rmfiarmfia: Looking at the replies, OP’s not even a newbie. Just a secondhand scammer, right? Morals left the chat.

    Dawn686: You win this year’s comedy award^^

It was cold, but not unbearably so. Moonhyuk considered pulling out his padded jacket, but in the end, he compromised with the varsity jacket he’d gotten during freshman year as part of a group order. Thankfully, the sun was out. He decided to throw on a scarf over it.

The worn and faded red muffler was like an extension of him, it clung to Moonhyuk’s neck every winter without fail. Some threads had come loose, but it was still plenty warm. Once Moonhyuk got attached to something, he would use it until he was completely sick of it.

Though to say “until he was sick of it” was misleading. Moonhyuk didn’t really understand what it meant to grow tired of something. He’d never had the chance to eat, buy, or use something so much that he got sick of it. For him, “until I’m tired of it” meant “until it’s worn out and I literally can’t use it anymore.”

Despite how he looked (?), Moonhyuk was actually quite sensitive to the cold. The black padded coat he’d splurged on as a college entrance gift to himself, and the red scarf he’d bought with his first part-time paycheck, were thankfully still holding up beside him.

He wasn’t ashamed of being poor. He had never longed for luxury perfumes, cashmere scarves, cars, or million-won laptops that others might be using. Moonhyuk always did his best to adapt to his reality as it was. If he had something, great; if he didn’t, that was that. He’d never let himself fall into pointless desire. The only times Moonhyuk allowed himself to want something were when he studied hard or wrote papers in hopes of earning a scholarship. He had never even owned a latest-model tablet, like the one the high schooler in front of him, eight years younger, was using.

“Teacher, didn’t you wear that scarf literally every day last winter too?”

Miji, who had been copying Moonhyuk’s customized wrong-answer notes into her tablet, suddenly looked up and asked. Moonhyuk just nodded silently with a smile. At moments like this, just sometimes, he felt a little sheepish.

“You always wear only that one scarf.”

Miji added with a small grin. She wasn’t wrong, so Moonhyuk rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly. She continued.

“What are you doing for Christmas, teacher?”

“Did you finish copying the wrong-answer notes?”

“Are you working? I heard you’re doing something other than tutoring.”

    “Who told you that?”

“Seohyun. Why’d you tell Seohyun but not me?”

Seohyun was Miji’s childhood friend, introduced to Moonhyuk by Miji’s mom. Thankfully, earlier this year, her mom had also entrusted him with Seohyun’s tutoring. Teaching two unpredictable high schoolers was physically tiring, but the emotional fatigue was even greater. Moonhyuk chuckled and replied.

“It just came up. I didn’t tell him.”

“Tch. Same thing. If you’re not doing anything on Christmas, want to go watch a movie with me?”

“If you solve 200 Korean reading comprehension passages, I’ll think about it.”

She let out a deflated sigh. Miji, who was practically allergic to Korean, would find 200 passages a steep mountain to climb. Maybe because she was an only child, Miji sometimes made suggestions like this to Moonhyuk, asking to go see a movie, or get a meal, or visit a pretty cafe. But every time, Moonhyuk would gently deflect her like this.

    “Ugh, rejected again!”

“I have to work that day.”

    “Whatever.”

Miji pouted, but Moonhyuk ignored her and pushed the notes a little closer.

Drawing boundaries with others was important, at least to Moonhyuk. He always made a conscious effort to maintain a certain distance from everyone. Even if it weren’t for the eight-year age gap or the student-teacher dynamic, he would’ve acted the same toward Miji.

Once relationships deepened, they started to demand more time and effort. And when they ended, all that effort often felt meaningless. Moonhyuk just wasn’t good at dealing with the beginning and end of relationships. Sometimes, he felt like a coward or an idiot for thinking about the end before anything even began. But that didn’t stop him from locking himself away in his own little room. The pain of the one left behind, no one ever really understood it, anyway.

“Let’s go watch a movie on Christmas,”

“I’ll get you a new scarf as a present,”

    “There’s a restaurant I want to try,”

As Miji said things like that while copying the notes, her head began to droop. She had been dozing off more often during tutoring lately. Watching her nod off, Moonhyuk scratched his cheek. She looked tired, he should probably wake her.

He gently reached out and tapped the back of her hand.

    “Kim Miji.”

    “…Huh? Ugh.”

With a weird noise, Miji suddenly jerked her head up. Her half-lidded eyes blinked a few times, and then she let out a huge yawn. It had already been nearly two years since Moonhyuk started tutoring her. Maybe, just maybe, he’d grown a little attached.

Moonhyuk pulled out a tissue, handed it to her, and smiled.

    “Don’t drool.”

    “What? Did I drool!?”

She snatched a mirror and quickly wiped the corners of her mouth. Lately, Miji had been falling asleep during lessons more and more. Worried she might be overworking herself, Moonhyuk carefully asked,

“Have you been studying late into the night lately?”

Despite constantly saying she wanted to slack off, Miji was a surprisingly diligent student. She was sharp, quick to catch on, and had an excellent memory. Her talk of getting into Hanguk University didn’t sound like a joke, Miji had the potential to make it happen, if only she improved her Korean scores.

But instead of a tired sigh, Miji burst into loud laughter.

“Are you serious!? Me!? God no–why would I study that late? It’s boring as hell.”

    “…?”

Moonhyuk blinked dumbly at her. Miji glanced at the door, then back at him. She waved her hand, motioning for him to come closer. He leaned in a bit, and she dropped her voice to a whisper.

    “Teacher, this is a secret.”

    “…Yeah?”

“Promise you won’t tell my mom. Okay?”
