The video was 3 minutes and 11 seconds long.

Just like Yeojin had said, the teaser was released at exactly 8 p.m. on both the official Sword of God homepage and its Nutube channel, and within a short time it was already the center of attention among players.

The view count was rising rapidly. Dohee, after rewatching it several times, logged into SoGod. Even though it was late at night, the guild chat was exploding.

Even though 4EvilPrettyGirl was an over-the-top roleplay freak, their skills were top-tier. More than anything, they played a tanky class with excellent durability and insane control. Despite their eccentric act, they were consistently ranked as the guild’s most preferred raid member.

Dohee agreed. The video had clearly been crafted with care, it looked amazing.

The spreading darkness from Hal, capital of Denm, the humanoid boss design of the Demon Hunter, the vast desert and scorching sun, it all looked stunning.

But the skills? Absolutely bizarre.

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: that one part around 1:20? Where they lift the gun into the sky

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: and it blasts out that red beam?

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: and it just bathes the whole field in light? With no safe zone? What even was that lmaoo

Ah, Dohee knew exactly what part that was. The Demon Hunter raised their gun into the sky, and from it poured red beams that dyed the entire sky and ground. Normally, with AoE moves like that, there’d be some kind of safe zone.

But no matter how many times Dohee rewatched the teaser in fullscreen and high quality, there wasn’t a single visible safe spot.

Usually teasers used dev accounts and in-house testers to record footage.

Right after that strange AoE move was cast, the video briefly showed all the characters lying on the ground bleeding. It looked like a wipe skill…Dohee let out a small sigh.

[Guild] Tando: But after the sandstorm passes, the statues are gone and the ground texture looks more like stone.

Dohee quickly scrubbed back to that scene in the teaser.

He lowered the playback speed to 0.5x and watched closely.

Tando was right.

The field changed, and the AoE attack was cast almost immediately, no time to react, no gimmick phase.

And after it hit, there wasn’t a single player character left standing.
