It was late evening. While Moonhyuk was out working a shift at the internet cafe, Dohee had finally succeeded in rejoining the Human guild with GoingSupporter character. Since PrettyHealer and SoftRiceCake had joined the guild relatively recently, they only knew GoingSupporter was the same person as AssaGo and that GoingSupporter had founded the guild, but this was their first time actually being in the same guild together. The comment about being a celebrity wasn’t just a joke.

Dohee had already decided to run the Demon Hunter first clear with GoingSupporter in Human’s raid, so rejoining was inevitable. Still, seeing the Human guild tag again after so long felt strange, even for him. On top of that, they made him an officer right away. It wasn’t a big deal, but it did feel a little weird.

And it was true. Someone like Dohee didn’t even need them. He was the one who created this guild in the first place, but he also chose to leave it with GoingSupporter character. Having such a high-profile, drama-prone character in a guild was exhausting. People who loved to tear others apart would swarm even over nothing. Even Yeohoo, who wasn’t a streamer, had ditched the familiar username ‘BaekssiFox’ to switch to ‘YeohooHae.’

And really, for a PvP-only character, being guildless was convenient. No strings attached, he could go around smashing anyone he wanted.

Regardless of Dohee’s thoughts, the guild members were chattering away among themselves.

So what if one more person joined the guild? They were just banging their drums and having fun on their own. Dohee snorted a little laugh. All said and done, it did feel nostalgic somehow.

He glanced at his phone. It wasn’t even ten yet, so Moonhyuk’s game messages were a bit slow. Honestly, Dohee hoped he’d come over again after his shift tonight. But even he knew that was a bit too much to hope for. He wasn’t supposed to get ahead of himself like that, but sometimes the longing made him restless. When Moonhyuk had time later, he’d ask if they could play together after his tutoring job tomorrow. It was the weekend. That should be okay, right?

With that thought, he naturally moved to the second computer. Moonhyuk’s character was still logged in. He was about to resume a half-finished hidden quest but remembered how focused Moonhyuk had been on it and redirected to a hunting zone instead. Even that boring hidden quest had captivated Moonhyuk. It was baffling. Dohee didn’t want to grind through something dull without Moonhyuk around, so leveling up through combat seemed more efficient.

Earlier, Moonhyuk had told the guild he was heading out for work, and then left Dohee’s place. He and Dohee had gone back and forth at the door for ten minutes over whether Dohee should walk him. Of course, Dohee won again. The cafe wasn’t far, so it didn’t take long. Once that massive presence left the apartment, the space felt even emptier. As Dohee took off his scarf coming back inside, he thought–if only he could somehow convince him to move in, how nice that would be. A wildly premature thought, to be sure.

As Dohee cleared the hunting zone with Moonhyuk’s character, the guild continued chatting.
