Stating the obvious.

Even if someone wanted to call him a cocky maniac, there wasn’t really anything to refute. It was the truth, after all.

Back when damage and buff cycles hadn’t even been properly established, there were already users who were basically “researchers” obsessed with playing supporters.

They would test things down to the second to figure out how to deliver buffs and debuffs more efficiently, how to deal damage or heal better, pouring all their passion into refining what a supporter could be.

Most of them, naturally, were Dohee’s viewers. And Dohee himself had been the biggest support nerd of them all.

The supporter cycles in use today were mostly developed back then, gradually tweaked over time. Sure, there were still some veterans researching new patterns, but not like before. Without any real systemic patches, there was no reason to abandon the already-optimized cycle.

So it wasn’t wrong to say GoingSupporter had contributed immensely to all of that, and that the original could never be surpassed.

Just then, a message came in from Moonhyuk on GameTalk.

Dohee had just worked up the nerve to ask if he wanted to sleep over again tonight.

He had considered that it might come off as too much, but he couldn’t help himself. His fingers moved on their own.

Dohee had decided to just accept the fact that he liked Moonhyuk now. Even if the guy was a hopelessly clueless newbie, and possibly even romance-inept. He couldn’t take back how he felt. Even if it made him look uncool or a little pathetic, it didn’t matter.

He just wanted to see him a little more, talk a little more, dote on him a little more, make him laugh a little more. That’s what ‘liking’ meant to Baek Dohee.

It’s not like you have to go tutor early tomorrow

So I figured it’d be nice if we could just play games and then crash

Is two nights in a row too much?

Still, he tested the waters a little.

Baek Dohee was usually the type to live however he pleased without caring what others thought, but when it came to Kwon Moonhyuk, he couldn’t help but be a bit considerate. His heart was pounding like crazy.

It wasn’t even that big a deal. But still, Dohee kept checking his phone every five seconds until Moonhyuk’s reply popped up.

It’s not because it’s two nights in a row…

I mean, you told me to bring pajamas and all… ㅠㅡㅠ

So damn cute he could die.

He had told him to bring his pajamas, but now that Moonhyuk was actually doing it, it made him weirdly happy. Dohee couldn’t help but hum a little tune.

Moonhyuk said tutoring was in the afternoon, so if he came over after that, they could eat dinner together. Dohee would cook something nice, then they could dive into raiding properly. The hidden quest would probably be done today or tomorrow, and once he got the skill reward, he planned to take the guildmates on the leftover world raids to build synergy.

Suddenly, he had nothing more to say. Dohee smacked his lips.

Moonhyuk still seemed a bit uncomfortable opening up, so Dohee couldn’t bring himself to ask anything personal, like why he lived alone or what his family was like.

Maybe someday, when they were more comfortable. Maybe then he could ask.

Honestly, it didn’t matter that much. What mattered was Kwon Moonhyuk, the person.

Stuff like family background was just auxiliary; extra details that might help him understand Moonhyuk better.

Not knowing wouldn’t kill him.

Dohee hummed and propped his chin on his hand.

The prologue quest probably wasn’t anything huge. Like always, it was likely just a small story raid to give some background.

Honestly, if everyone went together, it would just be a hassle, at least for Baek Dohee.

Moonhyuk, on the other hand, might feel differently. Everything was still new and exciting for him.

And if they all went to do the prologue quest together, it might feel like the real start of the raid.

He picked up his phone again to send Moonhyuk a game message.

It was ridiculous, and baffling–but even so, the part of him that wanted to let Moonhyuk do whatever he wanted was stronger.

As he typed out the message agreeing to the group plan in guild chat, Dohee couldn’t help but wish quietly in his heart:

Please let SiblingSpicyNoodle fail the weapon upgrade.

Of course, that wish wouldn’t do a damn thing.
