(UNDER EDITING)UPDATES ON WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY!
Hello! Thank you for reading and supporting ASFSODS. Your comments and support are my extra motivation to update and translate a story. I appreciate it if you can comment:)

The guesthouse was quiet. Jiang Siheng noticed the sunscreen and aloe vera gel that Zhou Yunbai had placed on the table before leaving. He bent down to pick up the aloe vera gel and read the instructions on the back, completely ignoring Wen Chi who had entered a step later and was blushing so hard he could practically bleed.

Wen Chi felt dizzy and his whole head spinning just from Jiang Siheng’s words earlier.

    Wen Chi’s livestream chat:

[Ugh, why did they turn off the mic?!]

[Aaahhhh, does anyone know spoken language?]

[Why is Chi Bao’s face so red? What happened in that short walk back?]

    [I’m dying of curiosity!]

    [It’s really so red…]

Wen Chi scratched his cheek and walked over to Jiang Siheng. Seeing that the man was still reading the text on the bottle, he curiously stood on his tiptoes and leaned in to look, “Is there something strange about it?”

Jiang Siheng turned his head, “Hmm?”

“You’ve been looking for a while,” Wen Chi said.

“It’s nothing, just researching a bit. I’ve never used this kind of thing before.” Jiang Siheng unscrewed the cap. “Turn around.”

Wen Chi responded with an “Okay” and turned his back to him.

Jiang Siheng squeezed a bit of the transparent gel out, glanced at his hand, then looked at Wen Chi. “Sit down.”

Wen Chi obediently sat down, his patience never running out.

Jiang Siheng placed the aloe vera gel on the table and then gently brushed Wen Chi’s hair aside. Within a few minutes, some areas of Wen Chi’s neck had started peeling. When the gel was applied, Wen Chi shivered slightly.

Jiang Siheng froze for a moment, “Does it hurt?”

Wen Chi shook his head, “No, it doesn’t.”

“How about we go to the hospital to check it out?” Jiang Siheng asked.

Wen Chi quickly refused, “No need, it’s just a sunburn.”

The aloe vera gel felt cool on his skin, but the sensation only lasted for a few seconds before the burning pain returned, accompanied by a slight, itchy feeling. His neck itched so much that Wen Chi couldn’t resist lifting his hand to scratch it. Jiang Siheng, who had been twisting the cap, noticed Wen Chi’s movement and quickly grabbed his wrist to stop him. “What do you think you’re doing?”

Wen Chi turned his head and looked at Jiang Siheng with a pitiful gaze, “It’s too itchy.”

Seeing his boyfriend look at him like that, Jiang Siheng almost couldn’t refuse to let go. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he said, “Don’t scratch, be careful not to break the skin.”

“Can’t I just gently touch it?” Wen Chi wasn’t giving up.

    “No,” Jiang Siheng firmly replied.

Seeing that Wen Chi seemed to be really uncomfortable, Jiang Siheng thought for a moment and then asked Wen Chi to stand up. Wen Chi assumed they were going back to continue filming the program, so he walked toward the door.

As soon as he took a step out, Jiang Siheng pulled him around to face him, laughing, “Where are you going?”

“Aren’t we going back to continue filming?” Wen Chi asked.

“We will, but not right now.”

Wen Chi, feeling a bit dazed, followed Jiang Siheng upstairs. He then saw Jiang Siheng lead him into his room, where the cameras had not been turned on.

    Wen Chi’s livestream chat:

[??? What are you two about to do?]

[Aaahhhh, where’s my sound? Where’s my sound?]

[Oh boy, a single man and a lonely man in one room—this is getting spicy!]

[If you can speak, say more!]

    [I’m already timing it]

[6, can you two be a little more composed?]

In the room, Wen Chi was pushed to sit on the edge of the bed. Jiang Siheng pulled him into his arms and hugged him. Wen Chi, confused, rested his head on the man’s shoulder, not fully understanding why Jiang Siheng had suddenly brought him into the room and was now hugging him.

“Teacher Jiang,” Wen Chi gently tugged on Jiang Siheng’s shirt, “We’re still filming the program.”

    He was reminding the man.

“Hmm, I know,” Jiang Siheng replied.

Jiang Siheng gently moved Wen Chi’s hair aside, his long fingers lightly scratching the back of the boy’s neck, the touch soft and tender. He said, “You said it was itchy, so let me scratch it for a while.”

Wen Chi shivered from the gentleness of the man’s touch, and the itch on his skin faded a little. He lazily rested his head on the man’s shoulder and said, “I can scratch it myself.”

“I’m afraid you might not control the force and tear your skin. What if the wound gets infected?” Jiang Siheng held the soft, pliable boy in his arms and explained.

“Oh, come on, I’m not that careless.” Being pampered so comfortably by his boyfriend, Wen Chi yawned and straightforwardly said that he was a little sleepy.

Jiang Siheng responded with an “Mm,” and then said, “Don’t play in the game later.”

    “Hmm? Won’t that be bad?”

    “What’s bad?”

Wen Chi wrapped his arms around Jiang Siheng’s waist and said, “Everyone else will be playing, and I’ll be the only one not participating.”

Jiang Siheng said, “Yeah, that would be a bit bad.”

“?” Wen Chi winced, “So what are you trying to say?”

Jiang Siheng lowered his gaze to Wen Chi’s delicate neck and round back of his head. A smile flashed in his eyes as he said, “When someone asks you why you’re not playing, just tell them it’s because I allowed you not to.”

Wen Chi straightened up and moved back a little. He placed his hands on either side of Jiang Siheng’s face and furrowed his brows slightly. “Are you serious?”

“Serious.” Jiang Siheng lowered his head and kissed Wen Chi’s lips. “Is it still itchy?”

Wen Chi carefully felt his neck and shook his head, “Not itchy anymore.”

Jiang Siheng hummed, then looked at Wen Chi, “Do you remember what I said to you earlier, outside?”

“What…” Wen Chi met Jiang Siheng’s deep brown eyes and immediately realized what he was referring to. His face turned slightly red. “Y-Yes, I remember.”

“Mm, then I’m going to kiss you now.”

“What?” Wen Chi’s eyes widened. His unfinished words were swallowed up by a passionate kiss. The warm tongue pried his mouth open, sliding in and greedily taking in Wen Chi’s breath.

Jiang Siheng seemed to be simply informing Wen Chi, but the sudden kiss was like a storm, catching Wen Chi off guard. Wen Chi still remembered where they were. The door wasn’t locked, just closed lightly. If someone else came looking for them, all they would have to do is push open the door to see the two boys kissing.

A sharp pain on his lips made Wen Chi let out a soft “Mmm.” The man seemed dissatisfied that Wen Chi wasn’t focused on the kiss and bit his lips.

“Don’t… don’t kiss me anymore…” Wen Chi turned his head, trying to avoid Jiang Siheng’s continued kisses, but the man’s lips fell onto his chin instead.

Wen Chi pulled down the man’s hands that were tightly wrapped around his waist, pushed Jiang Siheng away, and fixed his disheveled clothes. His face was flushed with embarrassment and he couldn’t help but glare at Jiang Siheng. “What if someone sees us?”

Jiang Siheng swallowed, his throat moving. He almost couldn’t resist pulling Wen Chi into his arms for another deep kiss, but ultimately, reason won out. His voice was hoarse as he spoke, “No one will see.”

    “The door’s not closed.”

Wen Chi said this before walking into the bathroom to look in the mirror. He was startled by his face, which was so red it seemed unnatural. He quickly splashed cold water on his face several times, repeatedly checking to make sure there was no obvious sign of anything strange. Finally, he felt relieved.

When he turned around, he saw Jiang Siheng leaning against the doorframe, the two of them locking eyes. Wen Chi felt as if they were back in Jiang Siheng’s apartment a few days ago, living like an ordinary couple.

Wen Chi shook the water off his hands. “Let’s go.”

Just as they were about to reach the door, Jiang Siheng suddenly stopped, turned to Wen Chi, and looked at him with a thoughtful expression. “Xiao Chi.”

Wen Chi looked at him, “Hmm?”

“How about you rest in the room for a while?” Jiang Siheng suggested.

    Wen Chi: “…”

Wen Chi stared at him blankly for a moment before pushing Jiang Siheng downstairs. “Teacher Jiang, I just have a sunburn on my neck, not a broken leg.”

    Wen Chi’s livestream chat:

[Where are the sisters who were timing it earlier?]

[No, I beg you all, stop going crazy in the chat, how could they possibly… do that now?]

[We didn’t say they’re doing that.]

[But everything you’re saying hints at it.]

[I’m here, I’m here! They’ve been in the room for over 20 minutes from entering to coming out!]

    […Emmm]

[Alright, alright, Jiang Siheng definitely didn’t just take 20 minutes.]

[Aaaahhh! Stop losing your minds! What if the stream gets cut off?!]

Before going downstairs, Jiang Siheng walked to his room and came back out with a hat in his hand. He asked, “Where’s the towel?”

He was referring to the towel that had been draped over Wen Chi’s shoulders when they came back.

“It’s on the couch downstairs,” Wen Chi replied.

    “Mm.”

Worried that other exposed areas of Wen Chi’s skin might also be sunburned, Jiang Siheng sprayed sunscreen on him and handed him the aloe vera gel.

Wen Chi, confused, asked, “What do I need this for?”

“Hold it, it’ll be easier to apply,” Jiang Siheng said as he put the cap on Wen Chi’s head. “Wear it.”

“…” Wen Chi felt like to Jiang Siheng, he was just a fragile little thing who could get hurt everywhere.

When they went outside again, Wen Chi was fully armed, wearing the hat and the towel. If he hadn’t refused so strongly, Jiang Siheng would’ve probably tried to give him an umbrella too. When they got back to the beach, the other two teams had just finished their PK. The assistant director was hesitating whether or not to call Jiang Siheng to ask when they would return. A staff member sitting beside him noticed the two walking toward them and patted the assistant director’s shoulder. “Teacher Jiang and them are back.”

“Back already?” The assistant director looked up in a rush, relieved that he hadn’t had to make the call yet.

As someone from the eliminated team, Wen Chi didn’t need to participate in the upcoming game PK, so Jiang Siheng ordered him to sit under the tree and not go anywhere. In his hands, besides the aloe vera gel, there was also a bottle of water.

Zhou Yunbai walked over and sat next to him. “Xiao Chi, how’s your neck?”

Wen Chi turned his gaze away from the pool ahead. “It’s better now. Teacher Jiang helped me apply the aloe vera gel.” He stretched out his hand holding the gel and said to Zhou Yunbai, “By the way, Xiao Bai, I took your aloe vera gel. Do you want to apply it now?”

Wen Chi was now afraid of the sun by the sea.

Zhou Yunbai waved her hand. “I don’t need it. You hold onto it. I left it in the living room for you all to use.”

The game for the top 8 was about to start. Zhou Yunbai stood up, wanting to move closer to watch. After walking a few steps, she realized Wen Chi was still sitting there, so she curiously asked, “Xiao Chi, aren’t you coming to watch?”

Wen Chi propped his face with his hand. “Teacher Jiang won’t let me leave here.”

“Huh?” Zhou Yunbai froze for a few seconds before reacting then laughed. “Alright, alright, I guess you really shouldn’t be out in the sun anymore. I’ll go cheer for A-Yu.”

Zhou Yunbai jogged over, and a group of people outside the pool started cheering loudly.

    Main livestream chat:

[What a little angel is Xiao Bai, omg]

[Why is the game being called like a fighting match?]

[Go take a look at Wen Chi’s livestream and come back here, I’m dying laughing]

[Sisters, I get it hahaha, one side is peaceful and calm, the other is chaos]

[Just entered the livestream, and I’m confused, why isn’t Wen Chi playing the game?]

[Want to know +1, everyone is cheering for their partners, and Teacher Jiang is just sitting there watching, looking so pitiful]

[No way, is Wen Chi and Teacher Jiang’s relationship really bad?]

[If you say Wen Chi and Teacher Jiang’s relationship is bad, then you’ve never watched the show]

[Please, it’s not that Wen Chi doesn’t want to join, it’s that Teacher Jiang just won’t let him out in the sun anymore]

[Exactly, Teacher Jiang really treasures Wen Chi]

Wen Chi was about to fall asleep sitting there. He lazily looked around, and when Jiang Siheng and Tian Yang stood on the floating board, he saw Jiang Siheng glance in his direction.

Wen Chi met his gaze, wondering what he was looking at.

    Jiang Siheng quickly looked away.

The next second, he heard Zhou Ruoyao shout, “Tian Yang, go for it!”

Wen Chi blinked, and it seemed like he finally understood what Jiang Siheng’s glance had meant.

    But…

Wen Chi looked through the gaps in the branches, noticing the big sun in the sky. The pain on the back of his neck reminded him of just how harsh the sun was, and he felt completely drained.

Without Wen Chi around, Jiang Siheng easily lost focus and glanced at the boy under the tree. And the moment he looked over, he saw Wen Chi sitting there half-heartedly, weakly cheering him on.

It was the kind of “Jia you~ Si heng~” that made it seem like Wen Chi would collapse from exhaustion at any moment. If Jiang Siheng hadn’t seen it, he wouldn’t have even known his boyfriend was cheering for him.

Jiang Siheng didn’t know why, but at that moment, he felt both annoyed and amused.
