ASFSODS 83
by starlightxelAfter last night’s chaos, Wen Chi couldn’t wake up the next day. Even when Jiang Siheng dug him out of bed, he groggily opened his eyes, looked at Jiang Siheng, then closed them and fell back asleep.
“It’s already late, if you sleep a bit longer, you’ll just have lunch instead,” Jiang Siheng, knowing he had been a bit too much the night before, didn’t wake Wen Chi up for breakfast and let him sleep until almost eleven.
No breakfast? No way, we’re not skipping lunch.
Wen Chi woke up in a bad mood, glaring angrily at Jiang Siheng.
Jiang Siheng immediately admitted his fault, his tone sincere, “I’m sorry.”
“I’m going to give you the silent treatment for three minutes.” Wen Chi remembered that not only had Jiang Siheng done that, but he had also used his leg to do that, which made him angry. He pushed Jiang Siheng away and got out of bed. As soon as his feet touched the floor, he felt a sharp pain in the tender skin between his thighs, unable to hold back a hiss.
Jiang Siheng quickly picked him up, only to be kicked in the process.
“Jiang Siheng!”
In less than a day, Wen Chi had called Jiang Siheng by his full name more times than ever before.
“I’m carrying you to wash up.” Jiang Siheng, ignoring Wen Chi’s attempt to ignore him, lifted him up and carried him into the bathroom, setting him down in front of the sink.
Wen Chi watched as Jiang Siheng squeezed toothpaste onto his toothbrush and filled a cup with water before handing it to him.
Wen Chi snorted and said, “No matter how much you try to please me, I’m still giving you the silent treatment for three minutes.”
Jiang Siheng: “Okay, Young Master Wen.”
Wen Chi, still half-asleep, yawned as he brushed his teeth. Behind him, Jiang Siheng, acting like a “human backpack,” kept nuzzling his neck.
Wen Chi had initially intended to brush his teeth properly but the warm breath on his skin sent a tingling sensation through him. He couldn’t help but laugh, slightly turning his head to glance at the man. “What are you doing?”
“Just hugging you.” Jiang Siheng liked having physical contact with Wen Chi.
Wen Chi glanced at his reflection in the mirror. His neck had a few faint hickeys. They weren’t very dark but against his pale skin, they were still quite noticeable.
Wen Chi let out a sigh. Beauty really was a dangerous thing. Last night, when Jiang Siheng pinned him down on the bed and kissed him with that burning desire, he was utterly powerless to resist.
“What time is your flight this afternoon?” Wen Chi, who had just been insisting on a cold war, actively spoke up to ask.
“3:30. After I send you home, we still have enough time to get to the airport,” Jiang Siheng replied.
“Okay.”
After Wen Chi answered, he wet a towel to wipe his face, but Jiang Siheng took it away and rinsed it again with warm water, “Lift your head.”
Wen Chi slightly tilted his head back, closed his eyes, and obediently let Jiang Siheng wipe his face.
“When will you come back?”
“The day after tomorrow.”
“Okay.”
Because of time constraints, lunch was takeout from a restaurant that Jiang Siheng had ordered. Just as Wen Chi finished washing up, the delivery arrived.
“It smells so good.” Wen Chi walked out of the room and saw the takeout boxes on the dining table, the aroma of the food wafting in the air.
“Drink some water before eating.”
Jiang Siheng handed him a glass of water. Wen Chi took a small sip. It was neither too hot nor too cold, just right.
The dishes were varied but the portions were small. The meat and sauce were poured over the white rice, and Wen Chi was savoring the rice by itself.
Jiang Siheng noticed this and occasionally put some vegetables into Wen Chi’s bowl, lest the young man finish the rice without eating any of the vegetables.
“Teacher Jiang, what’s the name of this restaurant? Is it far?” Wen Chi asked, plotting something in his mind.
Jiang Siheng glanced up at him and said, “I’ll send you the address later.”
“Okay, but I still hope you can send me their takeout contact information.” Wen Chi made a heart gesture at him.
Jiang Siheng laughed, “You still don’t want to go out and eat, huh?”
Wen Chi replied, “Yes.”
Soon, Wen Chi received a WeChat message from Jiang Siheng. He looked up at the man sitting across from him and smiled faintly.
It’s really nice to have a boyfriend.
After lunch and a short rest, Wen Chi noticed that it was getting late and urged Jiang Siheng to leave.
The car was already waiting outside. Xiao Pang stood next to the car, cautiously surveying the surroundings. Even though he knew the privacy here was well-protected, he was still wary of any slip-ups.
Jiang Siheng, wearing a mask and a hat, held Wen Chi’s hand, who was only wearing a mask, and walked out. The moment Xiao Pang saw them, he quickly approached and took Jiang Siheng’s suitcase, “Jiang Ge, Teacher Wen.”
Wen Chi smiled and greeted, “Hello, Xiao Pang.”
Xiao Pang grinned, but his gaze inadvertently fell on the small bites on Wen Chi’s neck, resembling mosquito bites. He quickly reached into his bag and pulled out a tube of ointment, handing it to Wen Chi.
Wen Chi took it in confusion. “What’s this for?”
Xiao Pang pointed at his own neck and said, “Aren’t you bitten by mosquitoes on your neck?”
Wen Chi froze for a few seconds, then realized what he meant. Suddenly, the ointment felt like a hot potato. He threw it back at Jiang Siheng, his face turning bright red, “…I don’t need it.”
Now it was Xiao Pang’s turn to be confused. He didn’t understand why Wen Chi reacted like that.
Only Jiang Siheng, the one who knew the truth and was the cause of it, smiled and took the ointment back from Xiao Pang. He pushed Wen Chi into the car and said, “It’s not a mosquito bite.”
Xiao Pang: “???” If it’s not a mosquito bite, then what… a hickey?!
Wanting to leave the back seat space for the couple, Xiao Pang, who didn’t dare to look back, told the driver to take Wen Chi home first before heading to the airport. At this time, there weren’t many cars on the road, and the journey was smooth and quick, reaching Wen Chi’s neighborhood entrance in no time. Wen Chi pulled his hand away from Jiang Siheng and looked at him, “I’m going now.”
“Give me a kiss before you go.” Jiang Siheng held Wen Chi’s wrist, not letting go. His gaze was slightly stubborn.
Wen Chi looked at him helplessly, then smiled indulgently, “Okay, okay, kiss.”
Half of Wen Chi’s body was already outside, so he simply got out of the car, turned around, placed one hand on the car roof, and quickly kissed Jiang Siheng’s left cheek, then took a step back, waving his hand, “Go, go, bye, safe travels~”
Jiang Siheng was stunned for a moment, then smiled, “Hmm, bye.”
The car drove off again. Xiao Pang, sitting in the front passenger seat, was biting his hand in an attempt to stop himself from laughing. He had just accidentally witnessed his boss asking his boyfriend for a kiss. Damn, how did it feel a bit cute? Was that just his imagination?
Wen Chi watched the car disappear before turning and heading into the neighborhood. At this time, the security guard on duty was someone Wen Chi knew, and as usual, he greeted the guard. To his surprise, the guard called out to him, “Mr. Wen, there’s a package for you.”
“My package?” Wen Chi was puzzled. “I haven’t bought anything online.”
“I’m not sure, but my colleague said it was left by a middle-aged man, and he said to give it to you when you returned.”
Wen Chi immediately realized what it was when he saw the long and rectangular package that the guard took out. “Ah, right, that’s mine.”
The guard looked at him curiously, “Isn’t this the banner you received?”
Wen Chi looked at him in surprise, “How do you know?”
The guard shyly scratched his head and laughed, “I follow you online. I also know you saved someone overseas, and they sent this banner to you and your boyfriend.”
When Wen Chi heard the word “boyfriend,” his heart skipped a beat. Looking at the guard’s expression, it didn’t seem like he had discovered their relationship. He probably thought they were just a couple on a reality show. Realizing this, Wen Chi breathed a sigh of relief and said, “Yes, it’s been hard to get it back.”
The guard nodded in agreement, “You should hang it well at home, bring honor to your family.”
Wen Chi chuckled awkwardly, thanked the guard, and went home with the “bring honor to your family” banner.
As soon as Wen Chi got home and hadn’t even changed his shoes, his phone buzzed with a WeChat notification. He picked up his phone and saw that it was a message from Jin Ge.
【Jin Ge: Have you gotten home yet? #smile#】
【Jin Ge: I’ve left your banner in the security office, remember to pick it up #smile#】
Wen Chi raised an eyebrow and replied: 【Got it】
【Jin Ge: Glad to hear it. You should take a picture and post it on Weibo #smile#】
【Wen Chi: Oh, why do you always put a smiley face after every sentence?】
【Jin Ge: What do you think? #smile#】
Wen Chi couldn’t help but laugh out loud. Following what Jin Ge had said last night, he found a spot with good lighting and a nice background. However… he realized that selfies just didn’t look good.
Wen Chi took the banner downstairs again and went back to the security office. The guard was surprised to see him return. “Mr. Wen, what’s the matter?”
“Um, could you help me take a few photos?” Wen Chi asked somewhat shyly.
“Take photos?” The guard scratched his head awkwardly because he was on duty. He glanced around and happened to spot a property management employee. “Old Lin, come over here!”
The property worker walked over when he heard his name, and upon seeing Wen Chi, he greeted him. “Good afternoon, Mr. Wen.”
“Good afternoon.”
The guard pointed to the property worker. “Mr. Wen, let him take the pictures for you. I’m on duty and can’t leave.”
Wen Chi apologized. “Ah, I see. Sorry to disturb your work.”
“It’s no big deal.”
The property worker asked Wen Chi what kind of photos he wanted. Wen Chi asked if there was a place without too many objects in the background and with good lighting. After thinking for a moment, the property worker realized what Wen Chi meant and immediately led him to the VIP customer reception room at the marketing center. The sunlight poured through the glass floor-to-ceiling windows, lighting up the entire room, and outside the windows were other tall buildings. From the outside, no one would be able to tell where it was.
“Is this okay?”
Wen Chi nodded. “This works perfectly. Could you please take a few photos for me?”
The property worker took Wen Chi’s phone but wasn’t sure what to do next. “Should I just take the picture directly?”
“Yes, just make sure both me and the banner are in the frame.”
Wen Chi wasn’t sure what pose to strike, so he just went with his instinct. Fortunately, he was handsome enough that, no matter how bad the property worker’s photography skills were, his face would carry the picture.
After three shots, Wen Chi took back his phone without looking at the pictures. He thanked the property worker and was about to leave. The property worker, who had suddenly pulled out a pen and paper, asked Wen Chi to sign something.
“Sign? My handwriting might not be very good,” Wen Chi said as he took the pen.
“It’s fine.”
Wen Chi signed his name, and the property worker thanked him. On the way home, Wen Chi opened his photo album to check the pictures. They were actually pretty good—better than he had expected. The property worker knew how to take pictures.
After fiddling with the three photos, Wen Chi posted them on Weibo and added a caption.
【@Wen Chi: I got the banner! #awkward# I’ve already asked Teacher Jiang about it and added him in the picture, so rounding it off, he also gets the banner #doge#[Image][Image][Image][Image]】
【Wow wow wow! A fresh pic of Chi Bao!!!】
【Chi Bao is so cute】
【Kissable little Chi Bao #lips#】
【Hahaha, the added Teacher Jiang is too funny】
【Hengwen CP is finally together】
Just as fans were enjoying the beauty of Wen Chi’s selfies, a comment suddenly popped up that made them squeal in excitement.
【@Jiang Siheng: Let’s take another picture together when I come back.】
【@Wen Chi replies to Jiang Siheng: Hahaha, sure!】
CP fans rushed in at the news. Just two sentences could get them so excited.
Ahhh, Hengwen CP is finally official!!!
Wen Chi hadn’t logged out of Weibo. He could feel the excitement of the CP fans through their messages, and he couldn’t help but laugh at the continuous flow of Weibo posts.
‘Ding dong,’ a WeChat message popped up at the top of his screen.
【A-Heng[heart]: I’m at the airport [Rabbit heart.jpg]】
Although the whole world knew about Wen Chi and Jiang Siheng’s interactions on Weibo, only they knew the true closeness of their relationship behind the network and the screen.
