ASFSODS 88
by starlightxel“Teacher Jiang!” Wen Chi’s eyes lit up with joy as he walked over quickly. “When did you arrive?”
“Five minutes earlier than you.” Jiang Siheng stood up and pulled out the chair opposite him, acting quite gentlemanly.
However, Wen Chi felt a bit awkward and, touching his nose, quietly thanked him.
Before long, there was a knock on the door. The man in the tuxedo entered after receiving permission, followed by two others, each holding a dish.
When Wen Chi saw that a few of the dishes served looked very familiar, he froze for a moment—weren’t those the dishes he had made?
After thinking for a moment, he realized, oh right, the task card mentioned making dinner for his partner.
“Please enjoy.” The man in the tuxedo didn’t say anything more, and after placing the dishes on the table, he and the others left the room.
Wen Chi pointed to the garlic-flavored salted ribs, barbecued shrimp with scrambled eggs, and blanched vegetables. “These three are mine.”
Jiang Siheng replied, “I know.”
Wen Chi looked at the other two dishes. “Then these two are yours?”
Jiang Siheng looked over briefly and quickly turned his gaze away. “Mm.”
“You can cook?” Wen Chi asked, a little surprised.
“I can’t.”
“Then this…?”
Jiang Siheng honestly said, “This is my first time making Chinese food.”
Wen Chi recalled that during the first episode, Jiang Siheng had mentioned he only knew how to make some Western dishes. He didn’t mind his boyfriend not being good at cooking, so he nodded and said, “That’s fine. I rarely eat Western food.”
This conversation might seem a bit confusing to others, but the true meaning was something only the two of them understood.
Wen Chi looked around the romantically decorated room and suddenly realized, “So the production team is giving us a date?”
Candles, red roses, red wine, and goblets…
Jiang Siheng nodded. “Probably.”
Wen Chi couldn’t help but laugh. “They arrange a date for us, but still want us to cook the dinner ourselves. Teacher Jiang, after we eat, I want to go downstairs and have a look.”
“Sure.”
Jiang Siheng had made braised pork and sweet-and-sour shredded potatoes. These were dishes he had seen Wen Chi particularly like during a meal they had gone to together, so he decided to learn them.
At first, Wen Chi didn’t expect much from the braised pork. Although the recipe seemed simple, making it well was another matter, especially since his boyfriend was a beginner.
To avoid hurting his boyfriend’s feelings, Wen Chi pretended to be very interested in the dish, though he did like braised pork—just that eating too much of it could get overwhelming.
Jiang Siheng watched as Wen Chi picked up a piece of braised pork and felt a sudden rush of nervousness.
The braised pork was tender and melted in the mouth, fatty but not greasy, with the sauce fully infused, neither too sweet nor too salty.
“It’s delicious!”
Jiang Siheng let out a small breath of relief.
“Teacher Jiang, it seems you do have a talent for making Chinese food,” Wen Chi said with a smile.
Recalling how his grandmother had made him cook earlier that evening, Jiang Siheng twitched his lips but didn’t respond to Wen Chi’s comment.
After dinner, Wen Chi and Jiang Siheng went downstairs to take a stroll in the courtyard. When they reached the fountain in the middle, Wen Chi suddenly remembered the fireworks show he hadn’t seen when he was in Country Y.
In fact, he wasn’t even sure if there were any fireworks.
“What’s wrong?” Jiang Siheng asked when he noticed Wen Chi had suddenly stopped.
Wen Chi shook his head. “Nothing.”
“Xiao Chi…”
Someone called Wen Chi’s name from above behind them. Both Wen Chi and Jiang Siheng turned around to look.
Zhou Yunbai was standing behind a window on the fifth floor, waving at them. After a while, Qin Xiyu appeared behind him.
Wen Chi suddenly understood that each of them had been arranged by the production team for a date… Wait, if everyone else had a date, what about Zhou Ruoyao, who was by himself?
Seeing that Wen Chi’s expression had changed, Jiang Siheng felt like he was hiding something. “Xiao Chi?”
Wen Chi looked at him. “Teacher Jiang, you said each of us is paired up, so what about Xiao Yao being by himself?”
Jiang Siheng hadn’t expected Wen Chi to be thinking about another man at that moment. His face darkened, and he replied, “I don’t know.”
Zhou Yunbai propped her elbow on the windowsill, resting her chin in her palm as she curiously looked down at the two of them. “Why is no one talking to me?”
Qin Xiyu lowered his eyes, observing Jiang Siheng. Although he couldn’t hear what Wen Chi and Jiang Siheng were talking about, seeing the man’s expression made him feel even better, and he answered, “They’re probably chatting.”
Zhou Yunbai turned to Qin Xiyu and asked, “President Qin, can I ask you something?”
“Sure.”
“Are Xiao Chi and Teacher Jiang…?”
Though Zhou Yunbai didn’t finish the question, Qin Xiyu understood what she meant. He smiled but didn’t say anything.
Tomorrow was the last day of filming, and later that evening, the others came downstairs. They saw Jiang Siheng taking pictures of Wen Chi, and each of them stood by, chatting and smiling.
“Take a photo of me and Xiao Chi!” Zhou Ruoyao jogged over to stand next to Wen Chi and directly entered the frame.
Jiang Siheng put down his camera and silently watched Zhou Ruoyao. Wen Chi held back a laugh.
Zhou Ruoyao wasn’t afraid of Jiang Siheng. Not only did he take photos with Wen Chi, but he also called over others to join in for the photos. Suddenly, Jiang Siheng became the photographer, snapping pictures for everyone.
Wen Chi stood in the middle, others either beside him or behind him, all smiling widely, even Qin Xiyu had a faint smile on his lips.
At first, Jiang Siheng was a bit annoyed yet amused, but when he saw the boy in the center, grinning with his eyes squinted and his white teeth showing, nothing else mattered, not even being the photographer.
Wen Chi wasn’t heartless. After the group photo, he jogged up to Jiang Siheng and pulled him over to take a photo together.
They stood side by side, the boy tilting his head slightly, his hair brushing against the man’s shoulder, smiling happily.
It was their second-to-last night on the dating reality show.
Afterward, Wen Chi and the others went to the garden. The manor was brightly lit, and even at night, they could see the roses and climbing roses, vibrant and dewy.
The suitcase had been placed in the room early by the production team. It was getting late, and after sweating from the day’s activities, Wen Chi went to take a shower. When he came out, he saw someone sitting on his bed. Even though he recognized it was Jiang Siheng, he was still startled.
“My god, Teacher Jiang, when did you come in?” Wen Chi placed his hand over his chest, his expression a bit dazed, clearly still processing it.
“Just now,” Jiang Siheng handed Wen Chi a cup of warm milk, then picked up a hairdryer and looked at Wen Chi.
Wen Chi understood and sat at the edge of the bed, drinking the milk. After a while, the sound of the hairdryer filled the air.
“Teacher Jiang, where will you go after the show ends?” Wen Chi asked.
“Join a production,” Jiang Siheng replied.
“How many months?”
“Probably two or three months.”
Wen Chi replied with a soft “Oh,” and didn’t speak again.
Jiang Siheng didn’t say anything either, until he finished drying Wen Chi’s hair. He put the hairdryer aside, then hugged Wen Chi from behind, caressing the boy’s warm, smooth skin along his neck. “What’s wrong?”
Wen Chi shook his head, but after a while, he said, “I won’t be able to see you for several months.”
Jiang Siheng raised an eyebrow. “This production isn’t going far, and it’s not going into the mountains.” The implication was that there was no reason Wen Chi wouldn’t be able to see him for months.
Wen Chi chuckled, “Because I’ll be joining a production too.”
Jiang Siheng froze. “When?”
“In a few days.”
Jiang Siheng asked, “Did your company arrange it for you?”
“No,” Wen Chi shook his head, “The director’s team contacted Jin Ge directly, and then he told me. I heard I’m playing a pretty important supporting role.”
Jiang Siheng nodded, “Has your agent checked who the director is?”
Wen Chi smiled and said, “Don’t worry, Teacher Jiang, this one is definitely legit.”
Jiang Siheng couldn’t help but chuckle at Wen Chi’s tone.
“Alright,” he ruffled Wen Chi’s hair, “Get some rest. I heard you got up at 5:30 this morning.”
Upon hearing this, Wen Chi’s expression turned wooden. “Don’t mention it, if you do, I’ll throw a tantrum.”
Jiang Siheng’s eyes twinkled with amusement. He gently lifted Wen Chi’s chin with one hand, making the boy tilt his head back to look at him, then lowered his head and kissed Wen Chi on the lips.
“Mm…! The camera, the camera!” Wen Chi struggled, trying to pull away.
Jiang Siheng, still kissing him, mumbled, “I covered it with a towel.”
Wen Chi paused his movements, his body slowly relaxing, letting Jiang Siheng kiss him.
The boy’s obedient appearance satisfied Jiang Siheng’s inner desire. He wasn’t content with just a light kiss. He picked Wen Chi up, placing him on the bed, then pressed down on him. One hand caressed the boy’s soft, fresh hair, while the other slid to the boy’s back, reaching under his loose shirt.
A tingling sensation ran through Wen Chi’s spine. Unable to hold back, he let out a soft moan, his voice long and sweet, like honey that could stretch. He looked up at the man above him.
He realized that Jiang Siheng seemed to really enjoy touching his back.
“Want to try the same thing as last time?” The man’s voice was hoarse when he spoke.
Just ask if you want, don’t keep touching him while you do it…
Wen Chi glared at Jiang Siheng. He thought his gaze was fierce, but to Jiang Siheng, the boy’s eyes were filled with charm, the corners of his eyes tinged with a seductive red, like a flower ripe for the picking, obedient and willing.
Jiang Siheng chuckled softly, “If you don’t speak, I’ll take that as a yes.”
Jiang Siheng lifted Wen Chi’s bangs, his hair, which had been dry earlier, now damp at the tips, all because of him.
The room light clicked off, followed by the warm yellow bedside lamp being switched on. Sounds of movement came from the bed, a white t-shirt thrown onto the floor, followed by loose sweatpants, and finally, the most intimate and smallest piece of fabric was discarded aside.
“Jiang Siheng, if you dare use your mouth again… damn!” Wen Chi kicked Jiang Siheng’s firm stomach, glaring at him angrily.
Jiang Siheng gently rubbed a small red mark on the boy’s pale skin with his thumb, his tone just as gentle as his actions, “I didn’t, Teacher Wen, don’t wrong me.”
Wen Chi pursed his lips, enduring the slight ache, and looked up at the man above him, who was still fully dressed. He suddenly felt very annoyed, “Why are you still wearing clothes?”
“Hm?” Jiang Siheng, distracted by his boyfriend’s perfect figure, was slow to react. After a second, he couldn’t help but chuckle, releasing his hold on Wen Chi, sitting upright and looking down at him. He said with an ambiguous tone, “Since my boyfriend is so dissatisfied, how about you help me take them off?”
