Chapter Index

Nothing happened in the late hours of the night because Ye Zhou fled in panic.

As a top, it was the first time he had lost control like this. He felt utterly embarrassed, believing he had lost all face and wouldn’t be able to face Guan Heng for a while.

Though he thought this, he still had to deliver food. No matter what, he couldn’t let Guan Heng go hungry.

Thus, after spending the morning in self-loathing and avoidance, Ye Zhou found himself busy in the restaurant kitchen once again. When he entered the restaurant that morning, he wore an expression of utter despair, with wounds on his lips. The employees assumed he had been in a fight and expressed concern: “Boss, why are your lips injured?”

“Nothing,” he replied. He had lost a battle in bed with Guan Heng, something he would never admit, even if it killed him. “I guess it’s just heatstroke, don’t make a big deal out of it.”

The employees were skeptical. How could one get heatstroke in winter? And did heatstroke cause injuries on the lips? But they didn’t dare ask more questions.

Even if Ye Zhou didn’t want to face Guan Heng at this time, time still passed minute by minute. When he couldn’t delay any longer, he reluctantly left the restaurant.

Ye Zhou arrived at the school a little later than usual, and Guan Heng was already seated in his office. Guan Heng was usually very busy, filling up nearly every moment of his schedule. He wasn’t one to waste time. While waiting for Ye Zhou, he was using the fragmented time to handle work. Wearing glasses, he looked scholarly and very handsome, possessing the aura of an elite scholar. Such a person should be far from carnal desires, immune to temptation. Yet, what happened last night was real—they had kissed and fondled each other’s members…

Thinking about it now, Ye Zhou still found it somewhat unreal, his face flushing. Guan Heng was wearing a high-necked sweater, something he rarely wore, covering his neck tightly to hide the large hickey Ye Zhou had left. The more he thought about it, the more he felt like a beast. But in that situation, he found it hard to restrain himself. After all, last night’s Guan Heng was… too sexy.

No, he couldn’t think about it anymore.

As Ye Zhou stared at Guan Heng, lost in thought, the latter unexpectedly lifted his head, his gentle eyes filled with a smile. “How long do you plan to stand at the door?”

Guan Heng’s attitude was no different from usual, his tone natural and affectionate.

When Guan Heng raised his head, Ye Zhou noticed that his lips were also injured, the bloody lips even more crimson, a result of his own bite. Ye Zhou became even more embarrassed, not daring to meet Guan Heng’s gaze. He rubbed his nose, walked in, and placed the prepared lunch box on his desk.

That morning, Ye Zhou had probably channeled his frustration into his cooking, focusing all his efforts on culinary skills. The dishes were exceptionally abundant, featuring fish, meat, shrimp, vegetables, and a full serving of rice, as if afraid Guan Heng would starve. This super deluxe lunch box would be more than enough for two men.

Ye Zhou was embarrassed again. He had been so absent-minded that morning that he didn’t notice how much food he had packed. He awkwardly explained, “Uh… to nourish your body.”

But saying this only made things stranger, as if they had engaged in some activity that drained their energy excessively.

Fortunately, Guan Heng didn’t mention last night’s events, only smiling and saying, “Thank you.”

Ye Zhou hurriedly changed the subject. “If you can’t finish…”

Before Ye Zhou could finish his sentence, Guan Heng interjected, “You haven’t eaten yet, have you? Shall we eat together?”

Guan Heng usually had less rest time, and eating together would take up considerable time, so Ye Zhou usually watched him eat while having a casual chat. But with Guan Heng making such a proposal, how could Ye Zhou refuse? Most importantly, it was important not to waste food, right? “…Then I’ll have a little.”

Ye Zhou brought over a common round chair and sat on Guan Heng’s right side. He normally prepared utensils when delivering lunch, but there was only one set. Guan Heng had his own pair of chopsticks, which he cleaned outside. Surprisingly, he handed his own chopsticks to Ye Zhou.

Ye Zhou hesitated for a moment but didn’t refuse, reaching out to accept them. Guan Heng naturally picked up the chopsticks Ye Zhou had prepared, as if this was how it should be, without distinction between you and me.

Eating from the same lunch box was already quite intimate, and now exchanging utensils… Although Guan Heng had used Ye Zhou’s bowls and chopsticks when he ate at his house, it still felt different. It was as if they had become even closer.

Ye Zhou thought for a moment and suddenly laughed, scolding himself for being weak. His mentality when dating was like that of a high school student, experiencing extreme emotional ups and downs.

Guan Heng turned to ask him, “What’s wrong? Why are you laughing?”

“Nothing,” Ye Zhou shook his head with a smile. He used his right hand to hold the chopsticks, while Guan Heng used his left hand. Their elbows wouldn’t bump into each other while eating, and their bodies were very close.

Guan Heng was the type of handsome that created a sense of distance, making people hesitant to approach easily. Yet, he was also pleasing to the eye. Looking at him up close was even more stunning. His jawline was incredibly attractive, and his profile emphasized his prominent nose. His thin lips, slightly pursed, were particularly sexy. A thin layer of scab on his lips had just formed, adding a touch of allure, and a faint scent wafted from his body.

Ye Zhou couldn’t help but stare at his lips, finding it hard not to recall the soft texture of biting those thin lips last night. One of the reasons he didn’t want to see Guan Heng now was that the moment he caught a whiff of his scent, his thoughts would wander uncontrollably, filled with obscene fantasies.

Ye Zhou once believed his self-control was strong, at least able to maintain composure on the surface. But after last night, he admitted that men were beasts in bed.

Seeing Ye Zhou stop eating, Guan Heng tilted his head slightly and looked over. “Not eating anymore? That’s not much.”

    Want to devour you.

Guan Heng’s face was within reach, causing Ye Zhou’s mind to uncontrollably generate this thought. They were alone, the atmosphere perfect, and they had engaged in such intimate physical contact last night. Ye Zhou couldn’t resist leaning toward Guan Heng, wanting to kiss him.

Guan Heng stared straight at Ye Zhou, his gaze unwavering, the expression in his eyes behind the glasses unreadable.

But at that moment, hurried footsteps echoed in the hallway, and Jian Huan suddenly rushed in. “Sorry, Professor Guan, I finished class late, taking up a bit of your time.”

Ye Zhou had reacted extremely quickly as soon as he heard the commotion outside, quickly withdrawing.

Jian Huan acted as if he hadn’t seen anything. Upon seeing Ye Zhou eating next to Professor Guan, he only paused for a second before rudely continuing to Guan Heng’s desk.

    Ye Zhou: “…”

Suddenly, Ye Zhou seemed to understand a little why Jian Huan’s academic path had been so bumpy. This child had low emotional intelligence.

Guan Heng didn’t have much of a reaction, not seeming to worry about being caught. His attention wasn’t on Jian Huan; instead, when he saw Ye Zhou’s ugly expression, he smiled.

After regaining his composure, Ye Zhou realized he had been somewhat impulsive. This was a school, and he couldn’t affect Guan Heng, so he tidied up the table a bit, temporarily setting aside the lunch box. Without saying a word, he retreated to the sofa.

Ye Zhou originally thought there would be a lot of leftover food, but upon inspection, they had already eaten half of it. “…”

When did that happen? He hadn’t noticed at all, and Guan Heng ate surprisingly fast.

After Jian Huan left, Ye Zhou watched Guan Heng finish the other half of the meal, eating everything down to the last grain. He couldn’t say he was very surprised, but he was still a little shocked.

    Guan Heng’s appetite… was bottomless, wasn’t it?
