Chapter 212 – The Collapse of Hegemony (Part 5)
by Salted FishOnce, countless outstanding legions were laid before me, but I failed to cherish them. Only after offending them all did I realize my regret. The greatest sorrow in life is this. If the heavens could grant me another chance, I would say three words to those legions: “I am sorry.” If I must set a deadline for this apology, I hope it would be…
“Boss Yao?”
“Oh, it’s nothing. What were you saying earlier?”
“He sent me a private message saying he can’t find his headset and asked us to wait a bit longer.”
“Understood.”
Five minutes ago, the HR from Lover’s Constellation’s Main City who was recruiting via vending sent a message: Brother Eastwind from Silent Fortress expressed interest in joining the legion but wanted to talk to the highest leader before making a final decision.
Normally, Don’t Stop the Meds wouldn’t even entertain such a request. Even in the best of moods, he’d at most send Deputy XX or Rain Ceases to meet them. As for whether the other party was satisfied? Too bad. The scale and strength of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce spoke for themselves. If you wanted to join, it showed foresight. If you didn’t, just don’t cry when you get crushed later.
But this person was different.
Brother Eastwind—once the top Assassin in Silent Fortress, one of the earliest players of Huaxia. As Silent Fortress gradually declined, he disappeared, only returning after the recent game update. At first, everyone assumed his account had changed hands after so long, but to their surprise, he led a temporary pickup group to become the first team in Silent Fortress to clear an endgame dungeon. The speed and efficiency were so impressive that even the massive Silence couldn’t match it.
Don’t Stop the Meds had noticed this person long ago—even before Polly. The latter was tied to the bizarre Ghost Server Legion. Unless observers dug deep, it was easy to get distracted by the entire legion’s eccentric aura, making it hard to spot the low-key zombie hidden behind the halo of madness. But Brother Eastwind was different—he was flashy, flamboyant, and unapologetically bold. Yet, in the end, Don’t Stop the Meds still chose to extend an olive branch to the latter because the former had never joined any legion since first entering Huaxia. Even after returning years later, he still ran pickup groups. A lone wolf often meant disliking constraints, doing as they pleased, acting recklessly—and the Dutch Chamber of Commerce already had a No Birds Over a Thousand Mountains. They really couldn’t handle another Eastwind blowing in.
But Eastwind came knocking on his own.
Whatever his motives, Don’t Stop the Meds was very interested in meeting him. However, he was currently in the middle of a quest with a team, making the timing less than ideal. At least, that’s what he thought when he tentatively discussed it with his “teammates”…
Milk Mom: “Aww, Yao Yao, you’re being so serious~~ No need to discuss, just leave already~~ We’re on a break anyway~~~”
Your Uncle: “A break?! Thank goodness, I’ve been super nervous all night, barely daring to breathe… TAT”
Mad Lad: “Just go. I fought him in the Arena before—he’s really skilled. If you don’t want him, I’ll pull him into Ghost Server!”
438: “Boss Yao, how long will you be gone? Fifteen minutes or half an hour? Commander, are you busy? Can you help me capture an elite mob later?”
Milk Mom: “Ugh, I’m kinda hungry and want instant noodles~~~~”
Polly: “Hungry? Instant noodles?”
Milk Mom: “438, let’s go capture an elite mob!”
…
In summary, he left the temporary team’s secondary channel and returned to his own Legion Commander channel, waiting for this Eastwind to arrive.
“Hello, anyone there?”
Eastwind had arrived.
The HR tactfully excused themselves, leaving only the Commander and the visitor.
“Here.” Don’t Stop the Meds responded, then eyed Brother Eastwind’s bare YY account, considering whether to drape it in the Dutch Chamber of Commerce’s banner.
“Don’t Stop the Meds?”
“Yeah.”
“Let’s cut to the chase. If I create a new account in Holy Light Sanctuary and join your legion, what’s in it for me?”
Eastwind’s voice matched his personality—straightforward, no-nonsense.
Don’t Stop the Meds liked that.
“One week to max level + top-tier orange gear.”
“And?”
“Purple gear guaranteed within a month, but not a full set—depends on luck.”
“That’s it?”
“Can’t promise purple weapons. Those depend on more than just luck—they require character.”
“…”
“Not satisfied?”
“You think I can’t get these myself?”
“Then what do you want? Speak up. Don’t worry about me thinking you’re asking for too much.”
Brother Eastwind said nothing. It was unclear whether he was genuinely racking his brain for demands or simply hadn’t thought it through yet.
Don’t Stop the Meds smirked faintly. “How about I ask you instead—what can you bring to the Dutch Chamber of Commerce?”
Brother Eastwind still didn’t answer.
Don’t Stop the Meds suddenly found it all rather absurd. “You came to me saying you want to join the Dutch Chamber of Commerce, yet you don’t know what you want or what you can contribute. Am I to assume your gaming life is so dull that you’re just using me for entertainment?”
“It is pretty dull.”
Something in those words must have struck a nerve, because the silent Brother Eastwind finally spoke.
Don’t Stop the Meds raised an eyebrow, waiting to hear more.
“I’ve always played solo—pickup groups, progression raiding, first kills, farming gear. Once I had the gear, I’d PK people until everyone in Silent Fortress knew me, but I didn’t know any of them. Even if we’d grouped before, I wouldn’t remember. The only names I recall are the bosses’. Eventually, I got so bored I quit. I thought this game update might bring something fresh, but it’s the same old routine—until Lover’s Constellation opened. That’s when things got interesting, and for the first time, I seriously considered staying in Huaxia… differently.”
“So you chose our legion?”
“Correction—I considered choosing it. I thought your legion would be different from Silence or Iceborn.”
Don’t Stop the Meds frowned but didn’t get a chance to ask before the other continued: “Now I’ve given up. You’re as dull as I am. I can’t imagine any fun coming from our… union.”
“I don’t like the noun you used,” Don’t Stop the Meds said, resisting the urge to roll his eyes—something he hadn’t done in years until teaming up with Ghost Server, where everyone seemed determined to test his patience. “Also, shouldn’t the Commander’s personality be something you research before applying to a legion?”
Brother Eastwind sighed. “My mistake. I assumed the Commander would match the legion’s vibe.”
Don’t Stop the Meds: “Meaning?”
Brother Eastwind: “Is No Birds Over a Thousand Mountains in your legion?”
Don’t Stop the Meds: “You know him?”
Brother Eastwind: “Fought him once. He’s way more interesting than you.”
Eastwind’s departure was as abrupt as his arrival.
Don’t Stop the Meds was completely baffled. Subconsciously, he opened the Quest Progress Leaderboard and scrolled until he found Eastwind’s name on the later pages—progress still stuck at 21%. The meager percentage practically radiated the image of him listlessly pushing his mouse and keyboard aside.
This was exactly why lone wolves were trouble. Two disagreeable words, and they’d bail. Normally, it wouldn’t matter, but during a dungeon run? That was a special kind of agony.
Interesting?
No one had brought up that word in a long time.
Now, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce was all about speed, efficiency, and scale—purple gear, first kills, domination. No matter how fun a dungeon was, if it didn’t yield rewards, it was pointless. No matter how thrilling a PK battle, if it served no purpose, it was a waste of time. So once they cleared progression, it was just endless repetition. After running a dungeon a hundred times, there were still corners left unexplored—because those nooks held no quest items or bosses, just elite mobs or scenery. No one had the leisure to wander. Their confidence in promising orange or even purple gear to new recruits stemmed from this very foundation—once the game became procedural, gear was inevitable. Predictable. Unsurprising.
Eastwind liked Thousand Mountains—that made sense. Because Thousand Mountains had said the same thing.
Back when Dimensional Rift first opened…
[You want to scale the city gates on every server?]
[Yeah, sounds awesome.]
[Not bad—great publicity for the legion. Approved. Take whoever you want from the legion.]
[Don’t need anyone.]
[Going solo?]
[Don’t trust my skills?]
[Just worried you’ll end up hanging from the gates.]
[Hah, you don’t get it. The thrill is in the uncertainty.]
So when had he become dull?
He couldn’t remember.
“Yao Yao~~ We missed you so much~~~~~~~~”
The moment Don’t Stop the Meds returned to the joint team’s YY, he was greeted with an enthusiastic embrace.
“What, break’s over?” He distinctly remembered someone practically shooing him away earlier.
“Break’s over, break’s over~~ Just waiting for you~~ I wanted to click through first and summarize for you later, but your legionmates wouldn’t let me! They said you hate spoilers!”
Why was it that every word Milk is Mom said made sense, but strung together, they became incomprehensible? =_=
Milk Mom: “Can we click now?”
Dutch Legionmate: “OK.”
[System] Maximilian: Warriors, last night’s battle in the Banquet Hall revealed the Imperial Sorcerer’s true nature! My folly nearly doomed us all! My folly also harmed Kristie. I’ll take you to her now!
After the guards and greatsword warriors fell, the vast desert was left with only the Prince and the players. Clearly, it was time for the quest to progress, but since the Commander hadn’t returned, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce members wouldn’t let the impatient Milk Mom double-click the Prince, lest the Commander miss the story.
Don’t Stop the Meds finally understood their consideration.
Truthfully, he didn’t care much about the plot. Most of the time, he didn’t even read it—just followed prompts, killed mobs, and picked up quest items. Even if Milk Mom had advanced the story, even if the system dialogue had ended by the time he returned, even if the Mermaid Princess had already appeared, he wouldn’t have felt like he’d missed anything historic.
But somehow, these guys insisting on waiting for him warmed his heart—even the Ghost Server Commander’s ramblings sounded almost pleasant.
The twenty-strong party followed the Prince across the desert to an oasis. At its center stood a giant cactus, its highest paddle bearing a thick thorn from which hung a cage imprisoning the princess. Under the scorching sun, the half-transformed princess curled up inside, barely alive.
The Prince triggered a mechanism, lowering the cage. The moment it touched the ground, the oasis was engulfed in a violent storm—dark clouds rolled in, and rain poured down. The Prince, about to unlock the cage, was knocked to the ground by the torrent, blinded. Meanwhile, the lifeless Mermaid Princess Kristie opened her amber eyes, lightly pushed the cage door, and the lock fell away. The door swung open, and the princess tumbled out—but slowly, as if cradled by an unseen force. Perhaps the rain replenished her magic, for her tail transformed back into legs, and she landed gracefully.
The Prince scrambled to her feet—
[System] Maximilian: Kristie, I’m sorry! I was deceived and caused you suffering. I’ll spend the rest of my life making amends!
The princess glanced down at him, then leaped away—
[System] Kristie: I once lamented the heavens for denying me beautiful legs, but now I see I was wrong. The heavens granted me every blessing they could—my tail lets me roam the vast seas, my tears can dispel all dark magic! Those evil souls feared me, loathed me, yet couldn’t harm me—so they used you…
[System] Maximilian: Kristie!
[System] Kristie: Maximilian, leave. Blinded by impulsive love, I mistook poison for honey. I no longer love you, nor will I return with you, for your heart remains clouded by doubt and fear. Rather than live a life under your suspicion, I’d sooner marry a stone!
[System] Prince Sylvan: Fair Kristie, I am here!!!
Speak of the devil =_=
Thus, the Dutch Ghosts watched as the Crystal Orb shattered—thanks to the princess’s tears—and the stone became a true, permanent prince.
What followed was the Stone Prince’s long, romantic confession. Princess Kristie listened patiently, then kissed him—dealing Maximilian the final blow.
And so, the prince and princess lived happily ever after… Not a chance.
Given Lover’s Constellation’s penchant for mischief…
[System] Kristie: No, evil still walks this earth. I cannot turn away!
The princess had to be a badass â•®(╯_â•°)â•
The “evil” referred to the five rogue sorcerers who had wreaked havoc in the Crimson, Amber, Yellow, Emerald, and Azure Kingdoms. The one from Sapphire Kingdom? According to the system, he’d been slain by players. According to the Dutch Ghosts, he’d been sucked into the Purple-Gold Red Gourd and melted into pus… Amen.
Beijing Time, 10:00 PM
The rescued Princess Kristie’s stats had vastly improved. Using her divine senses, she detected the five sorcerers fleeing to Violet Kingdom. After a long journey, the Dutch Ghosts finally arrived at Violet Kingdom’s Main City—the Royal Capital.
Like other Main Cities, the Royal Capital connected to several nations, housing general stores, pharmacies, workshops, and more. Thus, even before the Dutch Ghosts arrived, players were already there doing dailies. But after their arrival—
[Constellation] Morning Bell Evening Drum: Heads up! Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Royal Capital!
[Constellation] Lonely Pen: Ugh, I was there forever and didn’t see them. Left for two seconds, and they show up!
[Constellation] Dead Demon Refiner: Here for quests or supplies?
[Constellation] Horsetail Whisk: Probably quests—this place borders Violet Kingdom.
[Constellation] Indian Mane: Quick! Anyone got coords? Been trying to stalk them all night!
[Constellation] Huaxia Ancestor: (XX, XX)
From the moment they entered the Royal Capital, the Dutch Ghosts felt like Granny Liu entering the Grand View Garden—except they were the Garden. Countless passing players would stop mid-stride, then turn and follow. Slowly, their twenty-man party ballooned to two hundred…
Dutch Souvenir: “Why does this feel familiar?”
Rain Ceases: “Because it was just like this when we fought Gilrugar.”
Little Willow: “Kinda miss the desert and oasis now…”
Though those areas weren’t dungeons, they were accessible only at specific quest stages, effectively barring spectators. The Royal Capital, however, was a Main City—wide open for business.
“Maybe…” the Ghost Server Commander mused mischievously, “we should kill another NPC?”
Don’t Stop the Meds reflexively wanted to retort, but a glance at the surrounding crowd made him reconsider. Maybe it wasn’t a bad idea =_=
At the time, the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and Ghost Server Legion’s quest progress was only at 94%. No one knew if the remaining 6% would be a marathon or a sprint, so while spectating for strategies was one thing, the real draw was witnessing the elites and not missing the first kill.
The hundred-strong procession reached the city center, a sea of heads so thick the Dutch Ghosts couldn’t see anything else—like…
[Local] Don’t Stop the Meds: Could everyone step back? You’re blocking the NPC.
A representative spectator replied—
[Local] Huaxia Ancestor: Sorry, our quest progress isn’t here yet. Can’t see the NPC.
Don’t Stop the Meds sighed. His stamina had been drained by the Ghost Server teammates in the desert—he had none left for bystanders.
[Local] Polly: Using [Shovel Roams the World]‘s coords (XX, XX) as the reference point, west side move ten meters west, east side move ten meters east.
[Local] Shovel Roams the World: Uh… what about me?
[Local] Polly: Just move. East or west, your choice.
[Local] Shovel Roams the World: Thanks…
[Local] Milk is Mom: Move quickly, everyone~~~ We’re in a hurry~~~ Here’s the chant! Together we brave the waves~~~ Hey! With one shout, the tide parts~~ Hey! A hundred boats race~~~ Hey! The shore lies ahead~~~~~~~~~~
The Ghost Server Commander’s singing was so cursed that by the time the last wavy note faded, the crowd had parted like the Red Sea parted for Moses =_=
At last, the Dutch Ghosts saw the King of Violet Kingdom tied to a pyre, surrounded by five torch-wielding sorcerers.
“What’s the hold-up?” Mad Lad grew impatient as main tank Dutch Souvenir hesitated. “Go!”
Dutch Souvenir knew he should pull, but… with spectators lined up like a sports day formation, he felt shy! At least with Gilrugar, Drink Till You Drop and Iceborn were there too, and the palace pillars provided cover. Now, the wide-open street was cleared just for their battle, and countless eyes—unable to see the boss—were fixed solely on him. This…
[Local] Milk is Mom: Go, Souvenir! We’re with you! Charge boldly! Mwah mwah mwah mwah mwah~~~~
The Ghost Server Commander’s encouragement oddly soothed Dutch Souvenir. No matter how badly he screwed up… it couldn’t possibly be worse than this!!!
In a flash, Dutch Souvenir lunged forward like an arrow, landing a Taunt on one sorcerer!
The five sorcerers quickly formed a circle and began chanting. Seconds later, a bolt of lightning struck Dutch Souvenir!
By then, the Dutch Ghosts were in position. Rain Ceases’ Revival of the Withered landed almost simultaneously with the lightning—just a fraction of a second late, perfectly topping up Dutch Souvenir’s HP.
The Guild War had begun!
[Combat] Dutch Souvenir has died.
Thousand Mountains: “Tch, you died way too fast.”
[Combat] Rain Ceases used Resurrection.
Dutch Souvenir: “You try tanking five at once. Damn.”
Thousand Mountains: “Tch, who told you to pull all five? Fine, since we’re legionmates, I’ll kite one for you.”
With that, Thousand Mountains blasted the Amber Kingdom Sorcerer with Crimson Lotus Holy Fire, followed by a triple combo of Zephyr Jinx + Willow Leaf Blade + Five Animals Play, topped off with a hefty heal for Dutch Souvenir, finally pulling aggro. Without another word, he bolted, casting Trickling Stream on himself.
While Thousand Mountains kited, Polly also pulled the Yellow Kingdom Sorcerer away.
That left Crimson, Emerald, and Azure. The Crimson Kingdom Sorcerer hit hardest, so the team focused on it first, with Rain Ceases and Passing Master keeping Dutch Souvenir alive while Drink Your Sister 3X handled backup for the rest.
No one coordinated. No one directed. It was as if everyone instinctively knew what to do.
Finally, the Crimson Kingdom Sorcerer fell, followed by Emerald, then Azure.
By the time the Azure Kingdom Sorcerer was almost dead, Thousand Mountains was still kiting the Amber one halfway across the map, so Birdy naturally brought the Yellow one back. Once the Azure Sorcerer died, Dutch Souvenir immediately Taunted the Yellow one.
[Local] Spring Breeze Doesn’t Get It: Is this the same team that fought the NPC earlier? Feels way more coordinated.
[Local] Mamba: How can you tell coordination without a boss?
[Local] 2D Boundary: Feel, man. You don’t need a boss—just watch their positioning and transitions.
[Local] Dr. Agasa: Heard Dutch Chamber set up recruitment stalls in multiple Main Cities. Think Ghost Server will merge with them after Lover’s Constellation?
[Local] Flying General of Dragon City: Dutch Chamber’s huge, Ghost Server’s tiny. How would an elephant merge with an ant?
[Local] Duke Rum: Not necessarily. Rumor has it Dutch Chamber’s open to anything.
[Local] The Wind Rises: So Ghost Server would transfer to Holy Light Sanctuary? Can you even transfer servers now?
[Local] Officer Big Bear: Why transfer? Dutch Chamber’s already No. 1 in Holy Light. They’re just expanding to other servers. Ghost Server could stay in Huaxia Summit as a sub-legion.
[Megaphone] Don’t Stop the Meds: Refined Into a Demon 715, where the hell are you!!!
[Local] Spring Breeze Doesn’t Get It: Seems… not so harmonious after all =_=
Boss Yao’s outburst, to keep it brief:
While spectators debated the Dutch Ghosts’ future, three of the five sorcerers had fallen, leaving the two kited by Thousand Mountains and Birdy to rejoin the fray. But then, the duo unleashed a cataclysmic combo, wiping out most of the Dutch Ghosts. Only Little Lucky Charm, standing farthest away, survived. The sorcerers calmly resurrected their comrades, and the five raised their torches once more.
Normally, a progression wipe was no big deal. But the first half had gone so smoothly that this wipe felt like a bolt from the blue. Plus, with so many eyes watching, wiping was downright embarrassing. Thus, Don’t Stop the Meds’ mood hit rock bottom. Then he checked the party list—eighteen dead out of twenty. Little Lucky Charm had survived, and Refined Into a Demon 715… had logged out =_=
Now the Dutch Chamber’s High Commander had an outlet for his frustration.
The Ghost Server Commander was also puzzled, but since it was his legionmate’s fault, he reluctantly soothed their ally: “Maybe something came up. He’ll probably be back soon.”
“Thanks for the optimism.” Don’t Stop the Meds could spam exclamation marks in megaphones, but on YY, he lacked the energy to yell. Countless painful lessons had taught him that shouting at Ghost Server was pointless—they’d just collect his screams to make firecrackers, setting them off for fun like it was New Year’s.
438 lived up to expectations, returning within minutes—
“Commander! Commander!”
The Ghost Server Commander patted his head psychically, rare sympathy for their allies surfacing: “Forget me. Apologize to the other Commander first.” No excuses for logging out mid-boss.
Don’t Stop the Meds snorted, ready to listen…
438: “Commander Yao, I’m sorry! Commander, I saw Sister Blood Bull!”
Milk Mom: “You—what?!”
Was that apology even the point here?!
Don’t Stop the Meds: “Hey—”
Ghost Server (in unison): “Shut up! 438, where did you see her?”
438: “In the east-side crowd! I spotted her by accident and panicked—tried to tell you and rush over at the same time, and yanked my power cord loose!”
[Legion] War of the Gods: Oh, so he plays on a desktop too.
[Legion] Don’t Stop the Meds: Focus.
[Legion] No Birds Over a Thousand Mountains: Power cords do come loose easily, especially if you have a dog. Speaking from experience.
[Legion] Don’t Stop the Meds: Not the point!
[Legion] Rain Ceases: Boss Yao, even if 715 hadn’t DC’d, we were doomed that round. Don’t take it out on him.
[Legion] Don’t Stop the Meds: I’m not—but now their whole legion’s gone!!!
Only then did the Dutch Chamber notice half their teammates had vanished =_= The east-side crowd had mysteriously parted, leaving a narrow path where Ghost Server’s silhouettes flickered at the end.
Though their avatars had fled, their YY presence remained, so Don’t Stop the Meds called out: “Ghost Server, where’d you go?”
Milk Mom: “No time to explain!”
Don’t Stop the Meds seriously considered sprinting to the pharmacy for emergency heart pills.
“Boss Yao.”
A voice called to him from the void—unfamiliar yet familiar.
“Boss Yao.”
The voice persisted.
“Boss Yao, March to Liangzhou’s calling you!”
The Dutch Chamber Commander’s wandering thoughts snapped back as his legionmates pointed out that only nine Ghost Server members had fled. March to Liangzhou remained, his Demon Refiner standing shoulder-to-shoulder with theirs, united in solidarity.
“Why didn’t you leave?” Don’t Stop the Meds asked.
“Thought about it,” March admitted, “but ten people seemed excessive for chasing one scumbag. Figured I’d stay and explain, so you wouldn’t misunderstand.”
Don’t Stop the Meds: “You think I’d misunderstand?”
March: “Misunderstandings lead to anger, anger harms health. You seem close to needing those heart pills, so I took pity.”
Don’t Stop the Meds: “If you keep talking like this, I won’t need pills—just a coffin.”
March chuckled. Heaven knew he wasn’t malicious, but after hanging with Ghost Server, he’d grown to appreciate the joy of teasing others. “Alright, serious talk.”
[Constellation] March to Liangzhou: For context, Berserker Blood Bulls Don’t Graze is a Ghost Server member, like family to them. Originally played Ace Academy, meant to regroup in Lover’s Constellation, but her ex used her registration info to reclaim the account. She’s been MIA since.
War of the Gods: “Why’s he typing this in World Chat?”
[Constellation] Rain Ceases: So the Demon Refiner saw Blood Bulls Don’t Graze—her ex?
[Constellation] March to Liangzhou: Yes.
[Constellation] Dutch Souvenir: Wait, is Blood Bulls male or female?
[Constellation] March to Liangzhou: Female.
[Constellation] Mocha: Whew, my worldview is safe.
War of the Gods: “Why’d you all switch to typing?!”
[Constellation] Little Willow: But why would her ex have her account info?
[Constellation] March to Liangzhou: The account was originally his, but he let her keep it after the breakup.
[Constellation] Rain Through the Woods: Then why reclaim it?
[Constellation] March to Liangzhou: Regretted breaking up, tried to reconcile, failed, sought revenge.
[Constellation] No Birds Over a Thousand Mountains: Scum.
[Constellation] Don’t Stop the Meds: So the whole Ghost Server’s chasing him to…?
[Constellation] March to Liangzhou: Kill him.
[Constellation] Don’t Stop the Meds: Nine people hunting one?
[Constellation] March to Liangzhou: Too much?
[Constellation] Don’t Stop the Meds: Not enough.
Before spectators could process this, the remaining Dutch Chamber members vanished down the same path Ghost Server had taken—like a gust of wind, a sudden downpour.
[Constellation] Brother Whirlwind: This twist is… so melodramatic. I love it!
[Constellation] Fatty Feng: The elites are all chasing a scumbag. What do we do?
[Constellation] Sister Quench My Thirst: Join the hunt! Those who wrong women deserve death!
[Constellation] Sugar-Free Cola: Relationships are complicated. Maybe the girl did something wrong too.
[Constellation] Weiming Lake: Maybe others, but not Sister Blood Bull!
[Constellation] Today I Bomb the School: I teamed with Weiming Lake and Sister Blood Bull in Ace Academy. After her account got stolen, she couldn’t even play—but she stayed in YY to help us solve puzzles and clear quests until we hit 500 points and safely entered Lover’s Constellation!!!!
[Constellation] Shattered Rain: Damn, my eyes are burning.
[Constellation] Savage Traveler: So… what now?
[Constellation] Little Tailor: City-wide manhunt!
[Constellation] Durian Noodles: What’s the bastard’s handle again?
[Constellation] Huaxia Ancestor: Blood Bulls Don’t Graze.
[Constellation] Manicurist: Charge, warriors of justice!
Only then did War of the Gods grasp why March had insisted on explaining in World Chat.
The name “Blood Bulls Don’t Graze” wouldn’t just be infamous in Lover’s Constellation—it’d be blacklisted across all of Huaxia.
The pinnacle of killing wasn’t bloodless—it was letting others do it for you.
“Commander, where are you? Wait for me, I’m scared alone… TAT”
“Blood Bulls Don’t Graze” had nowhere to run in the tidal wave of righteous fury. After ten brutal minutes of “cursing—getting killed—relogging—getting killed again—cursing mid-relog—getting killed again,” he logged off for good.
Every participant, whether they’d struck a blow or not, felt their hearts swell with justice.
Ghost Server and Dutch Chamber also discovered new virtues in each other. The Ghost Server Commander realized the Dutch Chamber Leader had emotions and passion. The Dutch Chamber Leader realized Ghost Server didn’t just treat the game as a joke—they played freely, purely, sincerely.
Sometimes, misunderstandings dissolve in an instant.
Returning to the city center, the Dutch Ghosts left the sorcerers no breathing room. A clean Guild War later, their progress hit 95%.
As the last sorcerer fell, Don’t Stop the Meds felt the weight lift, replaced by long-lost exhilaration—as if he’d discovered a new perspective, transforming once-irritating sights into beauty. Even the terrifying, gathering-obsessed Demon Refiner; the lethally cursed Spirit Master; the fashion-disaster whale Assassin; the lightning-fast healer; the zombie-slaying healer; the math-obsessed Blesscaller; the general store merchant alt; the mob-slaughtering Deputy; the too-cool-for-friends Commander; even Blood Bulls Don’t Graze, who, despite being hacked, could still steer the public opinion of all China…
Milk Mom: “Yao Yao~ I suddenly think you’re kinda cute~~ How about we stoop to being your sub-legion?”
Don’t Stop the Meds: “No!”
Okay, fine. No matter the angle, some things remained bizarre =_=
Milk Mom, wounded: “I was joking, but you didn’t have to reject me so fast~~~”
Don’t Stop the Meds smirked, recalling long ago when he, at level 29, and Thousand Mountains, at 28, farmed Terracotta Warriors together. Back then, neither had a legion—they spammed World Chat for pickup groups daily until exhaustion drove them to form one. Thousand Mountains had just visited the Netherlands and loved it, suggesting “Dutch Windmills.” Don’t Stop the Meds found it unserious, preferring “Huaxia Chamber” to match the game’s name. They compromised on “Dutch Chamber of Commerce.” Later, they created sub-legions—White Chapel, Windmill Faction, Sunflowers—but never gave the main legion a proper identity, as if the name belonged to memory, not new servers. Only for Lover’s Constellation, to enter the Flagship, did they revive “Dutch Chamber of Commerce.”
Thousand Mountains often asked, “Yao Yao, remember our legion’s motto?” He’d always reply, “Of course—dominate Huaxia.”
Only now did he remember—the original Dutch Chamber was just about having like-minded teammates for dungeons.
Milk Mom: “Yao Yao~~ Back to reality~~ Still dreaming of ruling Huaxia?”
Don’t Stop the Meds: “No. I quit.”
