Marcel made a crying face as he accepted the napkin Yohan handed him.

“A misunderstanding? You don’t have a ring… and you only smelled of perfume, so I thought you were a beta who came here to have fun alone.”

It was a shame, a real shame. Marcel wiped his mouth and glanced at Lear. He was an alpha with an excessively flashy appearance. Then he looked back at Yohan. To think he was married to a silver-haired handsome man who was so intimidating it was hard to even try approaching him. What’s more, the alpha wasn’t just turning a blind eye to his partner’s affair, he was practically doting on him. Marcel found the whole situation irritating, disappointing, and absurd, but he figured it was something he couldn’t aspire to.

“Ha, Yohan. Well… the conversation was interesting. At least I’ll definitely remember your name.”

    “Marcel… this is all…”

“It’s okay. Nothing happened. Anyway, it was fun.”

Marcel snuck another peek at Lear. His eyes were slightly downturned, for sure, but the sight of the alpha who could crush a person’s spirit with just his gaze made him turn his head back to Yohan.

“More importantly, your husband seems to love you very much, so don’t sit around creating a mood in a place like this. Everyone will get the wrong idea.”

Yohan’s eyes widened as he looked at Marcel.

“I was just… with Marcel out of fan appreciation…”

“Ha, forget it. Well, I’ll be going now. The conversation was fun.”

Marcel was about to give Yohan’s shoulder a light pat, but he couldn’t because of Lear’s glare and just hurried out of the bar. Lear scoffed as he watched Marcel’s retreating back.

    “Hey, seriously.”

Yohan said, poking Lear in the side. At that, Lear shook his head.

“Anyway, I can’t let you do anything.”

    “You started it, you know?”

“So, were you really going to have an affair? Not turning away anyone who came on to you?”

“Well, I did add a bit of a playboy persona. Because you made me do that weird thing.”

Lear’s expression crumpled. But Yohan continued to speak firmly.

“But we really didn’t talk about much. That person just now, he’s an actor from <The Black Wolves>. We only talked about <The Black Wolves>, I’m telling you. Well, I was surprised when he suddenly tried to hold my hand… but you came at the perfect time.”

Even after he’d said all that, Lear still seemed displeased about something.

“There’s nothing more to say. That’s really all there is to it. Do you really think I’d have eyes for someone else when I have a handsome fiancé?”

Yohan giggled, “Hee hee,” trying to lighten Lear’s mood. But Lear just stared intently at Yohan without saying a word. He was staring so frighteningly that Yohan felt like he was about to be devoured, so he dropped the smile and his lips parted. At that, Lear’s face became resolute, as if he’d made a decision, and he grabbed Yohan’s arm.

    “First, let’s go outside.”

    “Huh?”

“I need to change the plan.”

There was no telling what on earth he was planning to do now. Yohan tilted his head but followed Lear anyway.

“Hey, but what are you going to do?”

    “Let’s do it.”

    “Huh?”

A perverted thought instantly popped into Yohan’s head. It wasn’t strange for him to think that, since Lear’s suggestions never felt all that normal in the first place. But for some reason, a part of his heart felt uneasy.

    “Here?”

    “Yeah.”

“Isn’t it… a bit much to do it here? There are a lot of CCTVs… and there doesn’t seem to be a suitable place…”

Lear clicked his tongue at the sight of Yohan spouting lewd things with an innocent face while looking around.

“Was my darling always such a pervert? Is that why you were hitting on other men at the bar? Didn’t I tell you no more than three?”

Lear laid down the law, telling him not to even think about things like open marriages. At that, Yohan scolded him, telling him not to say such things so openly outside.

“You crazy bastard, what are you talking about. Seriously.”

“Anyway, I like doing it outdoors. I mean, just making eye contact with you makes me want to do it. Still, for your sake, I wasn’t planning on doing it outside… You care a lot about your social standing, you know.”

“Aish, really. I can’t say anything to you.”

Although it was dark and only the streetlights illuminated the world, Lear could tell that Yohan’s face had turned red. He was surprisingly shy, contrary to his appearance. Lear reached out to Yohan and gently touched his hair. He looked so cute, all dressed up. Lear’s serious expression broke, and he burst out laughing at the sight of Yohan, who had unconsciously stuck out his lips with a face full of discontent.

    “Are you laughing?”

“Cute is cute. And being angry is being angry.”

“Ha! You’re really… to say something like that…. Don’t you dare say that kind of thing anywhere else.”

Lear gave a slight shrug of his shoulders and said with a sly expression, “I’ll think about it.” Still, seeing Lear’s relaxed expression, Yohan felt relieved that things were ending here like this.

“Hey, so what are you going to do? People are glancing at us because we’re standing here in the middle of the street.”

“I guess it’s because we look so good together.”

“What are you talking about. Seriously. If you’re going to be like this, let’s just go back to the hotel.”

At Yohan’s chatter, saying he no longer had the energy for role-playing or whatever, Lear gripped his hand tightly. Then he glanced at his watch and looked around.

    “What is it?”

“Because there are no stores open.”

“You know you’re really weird, right?”

Even as Yohan made a face as if he couldn’t understand Lear’s behavior, he trotted along, following wherever he led. He wondered what they were doing, two grown men holding hands, but then Lear suddenly pulled him toward a 7-Eleven. Yohan shook his hand and asked.

    “Are you buying condoms?”

“See, a total pervert. My Yohan, who else would take you in? Everyone would freak out if they knew a Mister over thirty was this horny.”

    “What, you punk?”

Lear shook his head as if it were a pity. Then he winked at Yohan and said in a small voice.

“And they don’t sell my size here.”

Yohan said he was being a jerk and tried to pull his hand away from Lear’s. But he failed because Lear was holding on so tightly. In the end, Yohan said to Lear with a look of resignation.

“Haa, really. Hurry up and buy what you need to buy.”

Lear nodded slightly and chose the same ring pop that Yohan had bought before. Yohan casually grabbed a bag of Cheetos from nearby, handed it to Lear, and said.

    “Aren’t you having dinner?”

“I have something urgent to take care of first. We have some time left, too.”

    “Then…”

“There’s a place to go before that.”

“That and the ring pop… Ah!”

Yohan’s eyes widened. When Yohan had first bought it, the purpose of the ring pop had been for a proposal. It had been Yohan’s choice, as he hadn’t had time to prepare a ring in his haste. But wait, hadn’t we already finished proposing and were in the middle of preparing for the wedding?

But before Yohan could say anything to Lear, he deliberately pressed his body against Yohan, asking him to take out his wallet. How could he be so shameless and make a move when there was someone in front of them?

    “Ah, really!”

Though disgusted, Yohan fumbled through Lear’s pockets. He thought it was in the left pocket, but his hand grabbed an unexpectedly strange object. Why the hell did this bastard store things like this? Yohan yanked his hand away, horrified. Then Lear spoke with a troubled face.

“No matter what, Yohan, that’s a bit much in here. It’s in the jacket.”

    “You should have said so.”

Seeing Yohan getting annoyed with a red face, the employee tapped the counter, urging them once more. Only then did Yohan find the wallet in Lear’s jacket. Lear took the card from his wallet in Yohan’s hand, passed it over, and gave Yohan’s butt a light smack.

    “…Keep it in check.”

The shameless bastard. Said he’d be considerate of his social standing, but he’s a bad bastard who doesn’t care one bit. Yohan, his face burning, finally pried his hand away from Lear’s and went outside first. Then Lear placed the Cheetos in Yohan’s arms and said.

    “Are you sulking?”

    “Yeah. You bastard.”

“I got jealous seeing you talking to someone else besides me. So I was being a little mean.”

“You’re so brazen, you know that?”

Lear grinned, then raised his eyebrows and said.

“So I thought of something I want to do. I don’t think I can just leave you be.”

    “I think this is enough.”

Yohan had no idea what it was, but he tried to stop Lear first. However, Lear went to the roadside on his own, raised his hand, and hailed a passing taxi. Yohan tilted his head, wondering what he was up to now, and Lear urged him to get in quickly.

At this point, he was starting to feel a little anxious, but Yohan did as Lear said for now. As soon as Yohan got in, Lear whispered the destination to the driver. Then Lear handed the taxi driver a large sum of money.

Watching the scene, Yohan wondered what on earth Lear was doing, wasting money like that.

    “What are you doing?”

“It’s a thing. You can just repay me for my gift.”

“This is making me a little anxious.”

“Want me to hold your hand?”

Yohan flinched at the sight of Lear holding out his hand. But Lear smiled slyly and grabbed Yohan’s hand.

‘Well, it’ll be okay… We’re engaged, he wouldn’t harm his fiancé, would he?’

Trying his best to understand Lear’s actions, Yohan forced a smile at the grinning Lear.

After riding in the taxi for about 20 minutes, they arrived. First of all… it was a relief that the destination wasn’t the Mojave Desert.

    “This place is…”

Yohan had a dumbfounded look on his face at the sight before him. The place Lear had mentioned was a facility that offered 24-hour drive-thru weddings. It was, more than anything, a very Las Vegas-like place, but…

    “What about what Ashley prepared…?”

He had joked about a drive-thru wedding once, but Yohan, who had never imagined he would actually do it with Lear, was dumbstruck.

    “That’s that.”

    “……”

    “Why? You don’t like it?”

Yohan flinched at Lear, who asked pitifully like a rain-soaked puppy.

    “No, it’s not that… I’m just a little, surprised, I guess.”

“We can just get married again.”

A second time, a third, a fourth… Lear said, leaning his large body against Yohan, telling him to spend his whole life only with him.

    “I’m too anxious like this.”

    “……”

“Being engaged like this won’t do. You need to be legally bound.”

    Yohan smacked Lear’s thigh.

    “You crazy bastard.”

“Yes, Yohan. Please save me, who is crazy for you.”

    “Ha, really!”

Yohan sighed and offered his hand to Lear. Lear’s eyes widened, and he placed his own hand on top of Yohan’s.

    “No. Not that. The ring.”

    “Ah!”

Only then did Lear beam and hand Yohan the ring. Yohan took the candy ring from Lear and rustled it as he tore off the wrapper.

“How do we always end up like this?”

“Maybe I should buy a candy ring factory.”

“Let’s change the brand name too, to Lear & Yohan.”

Lear burst out laughing at Yohan’s words and rolled down the back seat window. The officiant who was waiting greeted the new grooms.

It wasn’t a grand wedding, and getting married in a rush without even preparing vows seemed a little crazy, but… once the ceremony began, his heart started pounding like crazy. Yohan’s lips parted as he looked at Lear. Seeing him smiling as he stared intently at him, his mind went blank.

The two repeated the vows read by the officiant, and after pledging to be together forever, the two exchanged rings. Before the ring was even on his finger, Lear lunged at Yohan and gave him a kiss. Because of that, Yohan’s body fell backward, and the two, as if trapped in a time and space of their own, shared hot breaths before their lips briefly parted. Lear’s hand unbuckled Yohan’s pants, glanced down, and whispered.

“My darling loves flashy things so much. You’re wearing leopard print today too, huh?”

    “Shut up.”

Yohan tapped Lear’s cheek with his hand, then tried to grab his collar and press their lips together again. Just then, ‘Honk!’ The sound of a car horn brought him to his senses, and as he lifted his head, the driver said a word.

“Excuse me, sirs. You can get married in the car, but you can’t have your honeymoon in the car.”

Such a calm reaction. As expected, living as a taxi driver in Las Vegas seemed to be no easy task. Yohan pushed Lear away and apologized to the driver.

Lear stated the hotel’s name and said he would pay three times the taxi fare on top of the money he had already paid, then exchanged a strange look with the driver. And as soon as the taxi started moving, Lear swooped down on the lips of Yohan, who was staring at him with a foolish expression.
