Even just the effort of sending the same email twice—with a different subject line no less—was oddly impressive. Hakyung had almost clicked it before catching on.

He let out a sigh of relief and dumped the message into the trash, then turned to his afternoon work in earnest.

Now that he had a clear answer about the changes in his body, his productivity soared. He finished all the paperwork the hyungs had asked for—and even a few extra tasks no one had assigned.

And yet, there was still plenty of time before the end of the workday.

His coworkers knew how diligent Hakyung was, so no one said a word when he took a little break.

Even today, despite his puffed-up eyes in the morning, he hadn’t missed a beat with his work.

So just a quick peek at YouTube should be fine… right?

Casting a quick glance around, Hakyung opened his channel. His subscribers had passed 100,000. Just a few days ago, he’d even received an alert prompting him to apply for the silver play button.

He felt unbelievably happy with what he’d achieved using his own voice.

And whenever he read comments about how his singing had helped people through hard times, he was the one who got choked up instead.

Muheon had quietly supported him all the way.

He’d built a tiny recording booth just for Hakyung in the dorm, and even set up editing equipment so Hajo could help easily. Thanks to his husband’s unwavering support, Hakyung’s channel was thriving more and more by the day.

A small but precious channel of my own!

If the channel were a living thing, Hakyung would’ve hugged it to his chest like a baby and cooed over it. Even the name—Mu-il Mu-i—was perfect. He marveled at his own foresight.

Though it had been five days since the last upload, new comments were still pouring in. One comment in particular had just come in—and it caught Hakyung’s eye.

    Comment

@BingoMusic: Anyone else want to see a collab with this talented amateur singer? Please upvote!! Mu-il Mu-i, please check your email!

    “Wha…?”

A dazed sound escaped from Hakyung’s mouth.

It was actually Bingo Music’s official account, with the verified checkmark and everything.

    The comment section exploded.

Bingo Music almost never left direct comments, so this appearance felt like a miracle. Still, no one was more shocked than Hakyung himself.

He quickly dug the two old emails out of his trash folder.

There were no shady apps or weird links—just a polite message inviting him to collaborate.

    “Waaagh!”

Hakyung leapt out of his chair and shouted.

His dolphin-strength voice sent all the hyungs scrambling out of their seats.

    “What the—! Who is it?!”

“Hakyung? What happened? Did you see a bug?!”

They rushed to his side, ready to rip apart whatever pest had startled their baby brother.

But Hakyung didn’t even hear them. He was too busy pointing at the screen with trembling fingers.

    “I—I—I get to sing…!”

Huh? The hyungs all tilted their heads in unison.

Didn’t he already sing every day?

They’d all heard his completely made-up songs often enough. They even followed his channel—Hakyung’s voice was part of their daily lives.

So what did he mean, he gets to sing?

With everyone’s curiosity now piled on his shoulders, Hakyung took a few deep breaths to calm down.

Then he explained what kind of account had sent the email and just how massive the impact of this channel was.

The hyungs paused to take in the information…

And then let out a resounding “WOOOOOAAAH!” as they nearly tossed Hakyung in the air out of sheer excitement.

Just then, the ruckus reached Muheon’s ears.

    The office door swung open.

“What the hell’s going on out here…?”

He stared at the chaos: hulking fish-men crowding around Hakyung, who looked like he was trembling in the middle of it.

Muheon’s brow furrowed more and more by the second.

The moment the hyungs saw that familiar wrinkle in his brow, they bolted back to their desks—twice as fast as they’d gathered.

Having reclaimed full access to Hakyung, Muheon draped his chin on his shoulder and asked,

“What’d those bastards do to you?”

“They didn’t do anything! And hey, don’t call them bastards!”

    “Okay. Those jerks.”

    Same difference.

Hakyung let out a deep sigh. One of these days, he really needed to sit Muheon down and make him binge a proper lesson in polite speech.

But that could wait. There was something much more important now.

Hakyung grabbed Muheon’s hand and bounced in place.

“Look! A huge channel asked me to collaborate! At first, I thought it was just spam, but it’s real! Really real!”

    “…Yeah?”

His tone was less than thrilled, but Hakyung didn’t notice in his excitement.

He kept babbling about how the channel had millions of subscribers, featured famous artists, and even showed up in broadcast montages. Unaware that each fact made Muheon’s expression grow darker.

“So… are you going to do it?”

    “Of course I am!”

Hakyung nodded enthusiastically. This wasn’t the kind of opportunity that came around often, and he was also curious to see how such a big channel produced their videos.

But the biggest reason was that Hajo had offered to handle the editing himself—at least until college entrance exams were over—and was overflowing with motivation.

The cowardly river dolphin who once feared getting popular had long since disappeared.

Hakyung didn’t want to become a massive YouTuber, but he was filled with the desire to deliver better songs and videos to the people who loved his voice.

Muheon, on the other hand, didn’t want Hakyung to become any more famous.

Call it selfish or narrow-minded—it didn’t matter. Just the thought of Hakyung receiving more love, getting a taste of a bigger world, meeting someone more impressive than him… it made the blood drain from his body.

On top of that, Hakyung wasn’t in peak condition.

What if he pushed himself too hard and something went wrong?

Muheon’s mind was a whirlwind of worries—but even so, he couldn’t bring himself to stop Hakyung.

How could he, when Hakyung was looking at him with those sparkling eyes, speaking with that sweet voice, so full of excitement and purpose?

Muheon took a deep breath and patted Hakyung’s back.

    “Alright. I’ll go with you.”

That was the one and only answer he could give.

He’d be there, guarding Hakyung with everything he had—keeping all the creepy bugs away.

Unaware of Muheon’s dark, possessive vow, Hakyung lit up with joy and planted a kiss on his cheek. Straightforward as ever.

After a moment of hesitation, the hyungs gathered around and showered Hakyung with congratulations.

Once the wave of cheers and hugs had died down, Hakyung sat down with trembling fingers and carefully typed out a reply, letter by letter.

Apparently, they really had been waiting on his response. The collaboration with Bingo Music went smoothly, as if flowing along a well-paved path.

    And today—

Hakyung was on his way to a proper recording studio for the first time in his life.

“I’m so nervous… Feel this! My heart’s going wild!”

Sitting in the passenger seat, he grabbed Muheon’s big hand and pressed it to his chest. Sure enough, his small frame was thumping with excitement.

    Even your heartbeat’s adorable…

Muheon fell for him all over again.

Naturally, his hand softened as it moved across Hakyung’s chest.

The problem, of course, was Hakyung himself.

The perpetually horny river dolphin pursed his lips while resting his hand atop Muheon’s.

“You’re going crazy wanting to touch me again, aren’t you? But nope. We’ve got a big day ahead!”

    “I know.”

    Muheon replied evenly.

He was fully aware of how important today was. Which is why—just as Hakyung said—he hadn’t touched him with any indecent thoughts in mind.

    He swore it.

Still, despite the answer, Hakyung remained suspicious.

“Don’t give me those gooey eyes. That’s not gonna work. Honestly… guess I have no choice! Come here!”

Hakyung leaned over and gave Muheon a loud smack on the lips—then bit his lower lip just hard enough to leave a mark.

Muheon let out a breath of laughter and gave the crown of Hakyung’s head a fond tap.

That ticklish gesture only brought the horny dolphin back out.

All the way to the studio, Hakyung kept nibbling and licking Muheon’s fingers like candy.

The moment they arrived, Muheon had to rush to the restroom to wash his hands.

Both of them glanced down at their freshly cleaned hands and let out the same quiet, wistful tsk.
