JD 108
by LiliumSo this is what a real studio looks like…!
Hakyung nodded to himself, awestruck as he stood among the bustling crowd of staff.
If Hajo had been here, he would’ve been too overwhelmed to say a word.
Under strict orders not to edit any videos for the time being, Hajo had begged Hakyung multiple times to reconsider.
But Hakyung had remained firm. He had no intention of grinding his little brother’s health down just for content.
Now that Hajo knew he’d be allowed back on editing duties after college entrance exams, he was studying like his life depended on it—eyes blazing with determination to get into his dream university and never face another ban again.
Hakyung hadn’t meant to motivate his brother so hard, but he certainly had.
“Hello! You must be Mu-il Mu-i, right?”
They had just started scoping out the studio when a bright voice called out beside them.
“Yes, hi. I’m Kang Hakyung.”
“Nice to meet you! I’m Lee Areum—I was the one who emailed you!”
They exchanged a series of polite bows.
Areum’s gaze then shifted to the man standing at Hakyung’s side. His striking, icy aura made her freeze. What a face.
She’d met plenty of flashy idols and famous actors doing OSTs, but never had she seen a man so breathtakingly handsome.
Her jaw slackened. Her pupils quivered. Was he one of the creators involved in today’s shoot? God, she hoped so. If she was lucky, maybe they’d work together again someday…
Hakyung noticed that look instantly.
He tightened his grip around Muheon’s arm and glared. This imugi was already claimed—just in case that wasn’t obvious.
“He’s my husband. He insisted on coming along today.”
His smile was pleasant, but his eyes were ice.
Areum stammered as the realization clicked into place.
“Oh, from the wedding video…”
“Yes! He’s the one I sang the wedding song for—my husband!”
Hakyung emphasized both “wedding” and “husband.”
Areum quickly looked away, thinking With a husband like that, I don’t blame him.
Muheon chuckled quietly.
Every time Hakyung showed this openly possessive side, it made his heart throb in the best way.
“What are you laughing at?”
Hakyung huffed and glared up at him.
Muheon just smiled and said, “You’re too cute not to love.”
The video Hakyung was filming featured a number of amateur YouTubers—though judging by their talent, you’d think they were pros.
Everyone sang so well that Hakyung’s competitive spirit caught fire, and he gave it his all.
Muheon watched from the side of the studio, eyes never leaving Hakyung.
Apparently, it wasn’t just his eyes—every time Hakyung took his turn, the entire room seemed to freeze, mouths open in awe.
Pride and possessiveness twisted together in Muheon’s chest. Everyone’s staring at what’s mine.
He didn’t even try to hide how anxious he felt.
All he wanted was for this shoot to end already.
Despite being amateurs, everyone was serious about their craft, so filming wrapped up quicker than expected.
Someone casually brought up the idea of a post-shoot dinner, but Hakyung declined with a firm smile.
His eyeballs had nearly popped out of their sockets from keeping watch all day.
He deserved a different kind of reward.
“We’ve got other plans, so we’ll be heading out first. Thank you so much for having us today! Honey, say goodbye.”
Hakyung patted Muheon’s side. The man gave a small nod—barely a gesture at all.
And yet, it radiated the kind of power that made everyone bow instinctively. They had no idea it was just an imugi’s natural pressure at work.
Once outside the studio, Hakyung stretched with a satisfied groan.
The movement pulled his soft body lines taut beneath his clothes.
A dry gulp echoed beside him.
Muheon slid an arm around Hakyung’s waist. Hakyung, in turn, slung an arm around Muheon’s side—more like clung, really.
“You know,” Hakyung began, “the weather’s amazing and it’s still early… Want to go to an amusement park?”
“Amusement park?”
“Yeah! We said we’d go sometime, remember? But we never did!”
Muheon paused.
Wouldn’t that be too much for today? They’d just spent an entire day filming—and yesterday was filled with stressful hospital visits.
Sensing his hesitation, Hakyung began rattling off reasons why they had to go.
The most important one: He wanted to see Muheon in an animal headband.
That adorably selfish request made Muheon smile.
“Alright,” he said.
Honestly, he wanted to see Hakyung in one, too.
Even in the afternoon, the amusement park in the heart of Seoul was packed with people.
Hakyung was thrilled just thinking about all the humans and beastmen he’d get to people-watch today.
Muheon didn’t mind—if Hakyung was excited, that was all that mattered.
It was also Muheon’s first time at an amusement park in all his long, long life, so he found himself subtly glancing around, taking it all in.
“It’s funny… no one bats an eye at this here, huh?”
These days, society didn’t expect beastmen to walk around with visible ears.
But here, people were wearing all kinds of animal ears as headbands—it was like stepping into another era.
After carefully browsing the endless selection, Hakyung finally picked the perfect pair for Muheon: sleek, black cat ears.
“This one! You have to wear this one!”
Muheon raised an eyebrow.
If anything, Hakyung was the one who should be wearing cat ears.
There were tiger ears, wolf ears, all kinds of tougher-looking ones nearby—but cat ears? Really?
Still, Muheon didn’t make a move to take them.
So Hakyung decided to put them on him himself.
He stood on his tiptoes and struggled to reach—his calves just barely leaving the ground—before finally managing to perch the headband on Muheon’s head.
Muheon wasn’t thrilled by the choice, but he couldn’t bring himself to refuse something Hakyung had picked out and put on him with such care.
With the soft black ears nestled in his equally dark, silky hair, Muheon looked like a real-life feline beastman.
It was… dangerously attractive.
No wonder people got into this kind of couple play.
Hakyung, staring at Muheon from head to toe, suddenly clamped both hands over his mouth and nose, eyes glistening.
“What? What is it?”
Worried he wasn’t feeling well, Muheon reached to pull his hands away—only for Hakyung to whisper:
“You look so good I think I’m gonna get a nosebleed. Crap, what do I do? There’s a hotel nearby… Should we go?”
“Haah… Seriously, Kang Hakyung…!”
Muheon gave his cheek a gentle pinch, partly in scolding, partly in affection.
But Hakyung just giggled and demanded Muheon pick ears for him next.
Muheon stared at the wall of headbands as if facing the hardest decision of his life.
Which one could possibly match his husband’s overwhelming cuteness?
Truthfully, none of them could.
He could put literal halo ears on Hakyung and still lose the cute contest.
Eventually, after silently deliberating for far too long, Muheon finally selected one.
A pair of lop-eared rabbit ears—droopy instead of standing upright—and in a soft pink that matched Hakyung’s hair perfectly.
Hakyung had even taken off his usual snug-fitting cap for the occasion.
Muheon checked multiple times to make sure the headband wouldn’t press on his blowhole spot before gently placing it on his head.
Fluffy hair. Pink ears. Absolute perfection.
“How do I look? Cute?”
Hakyung looked up at him with wide, eager eyes.
Muheon copied his earlier reaction, clapping a hand over his own mouth.
Hakyung burst out laughing in delight.
Now properly outfitted with matching headbands, the two walked hand-in-hand through every inch of the amusement park.
They didn’t ride anything—not with scaredy-cat Hakyung—but just walking around was enough fun.
Once they’d finished with the indoor attractions and headed outside, they spotted a crowd gathered around a booth.
Curious, Hakyung tugged Muheon toward it.
“Alright, students! Step right up and sing our brand jingle! Don’t mess up the lyrics! If you succeed, we’ll print your very own photo card!”
A group of teenagers rushed forward and began belting out the jingle—off-key, off-beat, and full of energy.
Afterward, they were ushered into a photo booth to get their printed cards.
Even Hakyung knew the song—it was that famous.
And those photo card frames? Seriously cute.
Then he looked at the most sexy, handsome, elegant, breathtaking cat in the entire universe standing beside him…
And made a decision.
I’m going to sing that song.
We’re going to get that photo card.
And I’m going to treasure my Muheon Kitty forever.
Eyes blazing with purpose, Hakyung shot his hand into the air.
Every eye turned toward them—especially Muheon and Hakyung.
