Though there were plenty of onlookers, not many were actually stepping forward to participate—so when the “savior bunny” suddenly appeared, the host’s face lit up like a lightbulb.

“Yes, right this way! Hahaha! What an adorable bunny!”

As Hakyung hurried toward the front, the heavy pink ears on his head bounced with each step.

That alone made the crowd chuckle.

He looked like he’d dyed his hair just to match the bunny ears—it suited him that perfectly.

And standing beside the bunny… the cat.

Everyone knew the man was wearing cat ears. And yet, he didn’t come across as cute at all.

He looked like a predator wearing human skin.

Those who had been smiling at the bunny froze mid-laugh the moment their eyes landed on Muheon.

Sure, he was handsome—but why did he have to be so dangerously handsome?

Even with those cute cat ears on, there was something cold and feral about him.

Totally unaware of the tension he was causing, Hakyung stepped up with a bright smile.

All he could think about was claiming his Muheon kitty in a photo card.

“Hello, you’re here for the event, right?”

“Do I really get the photo card if I succeed?”

Answering a question with a question, Hakyung blinked innocently.

The host, briefly thrown off, nodded with a somewhat bewildered smile.

The lyrics were already displayed in front of the mic. As long as you hit the pitch decently, you’d pass.

Maybe some would be embarrassed to sing in front of a crowd, but Hakyung was a seasoned YouTuber with over a hundred thousand subscribers. He was ready.

    “I’m starting now!”

His eagerness made the crowd laugh again.

    “O-Okay, we’ll begin! Music, please!”

The upbeat jingle filled the space.

Hakyung began swaying his joined hand with Muheon to the rhythm.

Muheon gently wagged his finger along to the beat too, thinking this was just something Hakyung liked to do since he loved singing.

He had no idea that lurking inside that pink bunny was a shameless little dolphin determined to claim a photo card for life.

“Three juicy patties of Hoengseong beef on chewy buns—With sauce, tomato, cheese, pickles, and shrimp!”

Honestly, he sang it with more focus than anything he did in the studio earlier.

Even with the lyrics right in front of him, Hakyung was so nervous about messing up, it had his heart racing by the time he got to the last word.

The previously noisy crowd had gone quiet, making it worse.

Hakyung’s voice trembled as he turned to Muheon.

    “Did I mess up…?”

    “No,” Muheon answered immediately.

    Of course not.

Just like always, Hakyung’s singing was flawless—even if it was an ode to a burger.

To show how proud he was, Muheon gently ruffled Hakyung’s hair, being careful not to touch the spot near his hidden blowhole.

With that affectionate gesture, Hakyung beamed so hard his eyes nearly disappeared in his smile.

If Muheon said he’d done well, then he had.

Surely, that meant he’d get the photo card too.

He looked toward the host with big, sparkling eyes, waiting for the cue to head to the photo booth.

After a long moment of silence, the stunned host finally stammered out, “S-success!”

That one word opened the floodgates—cheers and applause erupted from the crowd.

Not only had Hakyung succeeded, everyone had loved it.

Overjoyed, he jumped into Muheon’s arms, bouncing up and down as he hugged his waist.

Muheon chuckled softly and stroked his back.

It wasn’t like they were doing anything scandalous in public—just a hug—but the atmosphere between them was so tender and intimate it made everyone around them gulp.

They were still recovering from the pink bunny’s jaw-dropping vocals when—bam!—a romantic scene dropped in their laps.

Even the host’s ears turned red.

Finally regaining composure, he stammered, “A-ahem! You’re an amazing singer! Are you, um… an idol trainee?”

“Nope. I’m not aiming to be an idol. I run a YouTube channel.”

“Ah, that explains it! I knew you had talent! I’ll give you special permission to promote your channel!”

    Hakyung frowned slightly.

He was more interested in the photo card than any promotion.

Misreading his hesitation as shyness, the host encouraged him further.

Pushed into it, Hakyung hesitated, then softly said, “It’s called Mu-il-Mu-i.”

Saying it out loud made him feel oddly proud.

Of course, many of the crowd’s eyes wandered to the tall, intimidating cat beside him—because how could they not?

Hakyung quickly bowed and finished with, “Please come check it out.”

Before the host could say another word, Hakyung yanked Muheon toward the photo booth.

“Okay! Now just follow my lead!”

Hakyung stood off to the side, out of frame, directing Muheon through various poses. When Muheon realized he’d be taking the photo alone, he looked puzzled. He motioned for Hakyung to come stand beside him, but Hakyung firmly refused. Muheon’s photo card was a sacred mission to him.

Out of all the possible angles, the one that showed off Muheon’s jawline best was the clear winner. Like a seasoned photographer, Hakyung adjusted Muheon’s posture with meticulous care, then nodded in satisfaction.

“Just hold that for five seconds, okay?”

    “Hm…”

    “No! Don’t open your mouth!”

Just as Muheon started to grumble, Hakyung cut him off and hit the button. Click. With a simple sound, the handsome Muheon-cat filled the screen.

Hakyung wiped the drool threatening to spill from his mouth and crouched in front of the machine, watching as the photo card printed.

    “Wow!”

He beamed as he held the card in his hands, cradling it as if it were some legendary relic. Seeing that, a flicker of envy sparked in Muheon’s heart.

Should I… make a Kang Hakyung photo card too…?

    ***

Until they got home, Hakyung’s eyes never left Muheon’s photo card. He didn’t even notice Muheon taking off the bunny ears and putting his hat back on, or slipping a churro into his mouth.

He must have said at least a hundred times, “Whose husband is this deadly and sexy?”

    “We’re here.”

    “Huh? Already home?”

Hakyung glanced around. Even with the real thing right beside him, he was so fixated on a plastic card—it was just so Hakyung.

Muheon unbuckled Hakyung’s seatbelt and reached over to open the door for him. Hakyung, once again caught off guard by the man’s firm muscles crossing in front of him, discreetly wiped away the drool forming in his mouth.

He felt like a beast eyeing an irresistible prey. Except the difference was—he could devour Muheon anytime he wanted.

    Like tonight, for instance.

After washing himself several times to scrub off the day’s grime, Hakyung stepped out of the bathroom wrapped in steam. He was humming the jingle he’d sung at the theme park earlier, in a noticeably good mood from the moist warmth of the air.

He hadn’t bothered putting on clothes, simply wrapping a towel around his waist—it’d be coming off soon anyway, so why waste the effort?

While waiting for Muheon to return, he spritzed sweet-scented hair mist onto his crown. Just as the fragrance settled over him, the door opened and Muheon, freshly back from work, embraced him from behind.

Comforted by the familiar arms, Hakyung smiled and turned around to hug him properly. Muheon’s lips curled slightly in return.

They exchanged warmth for a while, then their mouths naturally met in a kiss.

    “Mmngh…!”

A soft moan slipped from Hakyung’s lips. The sound, both cute and suggestive, stirred Muheon to deepen the kiss. His tongue explored farther, nearly reaching Hakyung’s throat, leaving him helpless in its wake.

The towel around his waist had long since slipped to the floor, and their rising body heat was becoming unmistakable.

Even as he melted into the kiss, Hakyung fumbled with Muheon’s shirt, managing to get it off—proof of his diligent practice.

    “Ah… ngh!”

Opening his tightly shut eyes, Hakyung gazed at Muheon’s pale torso.

Beautiful was the only word that came to mind.

He ran his hands over Muheon’s shoulders, his back, and his waist, lingering on the warmth and smoothness of the skin. His touch was as light and rhythmic as a puppy’s little paws kneading its favorite blanket.

And just because it was playful didn’t mean it wasn’t arousing.

Swallowing a soft groan, Muheon grabbed Hakyung’s waist tightly. He couldn’t wait to pin this small body beneath him.

And putting thought into action wasn’t hard—Muheon effortlessly scooped him up and strode toward the bed.

Still entranced, Hakyung let himself be carried. But just before they reached the bed, he suddenly broke the kiss and shouted,

    “My—m-my kitty ears!”
