“Isn’t it already more than enough?”

No matter how embarrassed he was, the river dolphin couldn’t hold back the truth. Hakyung traced his fingers along Muheon’s back muscles and grinned wickedly.

He remembered every detail of how he had trembled with pleasure, trapped under this solid body last night. Letting out a lazy breath by Muheon’s ear, Hakyung chuckled.

Muheon’s back muscles twitched in response. It was truly delightful how this large man reacted so sensitively to his smallest movements.

Now fully awake, Hakyung began touching and caressing Muheon’s shoulders, the back of his head, and his shoulder blades, cherishing him as if he were a giant beast he’d successfully tamed. His heart fluttered warmly again and again.

He was already thinking happily about what kind of headband he should put on Muheon next time.

Muheon, who had allowed the soft, ticklish touches for a while, suddenly gripped Hakyung’s butt and growled.

    “You’ll have to take responsibility.”

    “Huh…?”

The man grabbed the pale hand that had been daringly stroking his side and brought it to his crotch.

Hakyung didn’t even know when it had happened, but Muheon was already fully erect.

Startled, Hakyung looked down, Muheon’s member gave a little twitch as if greeting him.

    His flushed skin paled rapidly.

He hadn’t touched down there at all. All he had done was gently stroke Muheon with love, just because his reactions were so cute…

Looking at the two proud, imposing members, even their silhouette overwhelming, Hakyung gasped.

“Hm? Come on, take these sturdy guys.”

Muheon smirked as he naturally laid Hakyung down on the bed.

Caught off guard by the sudden shift in mood, Hakyung only realized it was too late when his knees touched Muheon’s shoulders.

    ***

Puffing out his cheeks, Hakyung scrubbed diligently between his sore cheeks.

There was a ton of work piled up today, and he had to sit for a long time, but thanks to Muheon’s reckless performance, that place hurt way too much to speak of.

And yet, he didn’t even realize that it was his own fault for getting Muheon so worked up.

“Not that I hated it or anything… It felt so good, yeah…”

Feeling a bit guilty about his earlier grumbling, Hakyung mumbled to himself, stomping his feet in the shower.

He reminded himself that at their age, they could just push through with youthful energy.

Thinking about Muheon’s smooth and cool embrace from just moments ago, a tribute song to Lee Muheon suddenly popped into Hakyung’s head.

He used the shower head as a mic and started humming.

“Strong and long-lasting Lee Muheon! Guess what, he’s Kang Hakyung’s husband! Mu, Mu, Muheon is the best!”

He didn’t know how many times he repeated the chorus, but he kept gleefully singing Muheon’s praises until it felt right.

Only then did he finally shut his mouth, when he saw Muheon opening the bathroom door.

Naturally, Muheon had heard the song starring him dozens of times already.

At first, he found the lyrics hilarious, but Hakyung had sung it for so long he began to worry he might hurt his throat.

Especially since he’d already worn his voice out from earlier activities.

Concerned, Muheon had hurried to the bathroom.

Hakyung tended to lose track of time when he got into singing, so it was best to cut him off before it went too far.

    “Not going to work today?”

Muheon easily lifted Hakyung, who was still in the shower, and brought him out.

Blinking at the question, Hakyung checked the time, and gasped.

    “Is it that late already?!”

“Yeah. All that time singing about how great your husband Lee Muheon is.”

    “Y-you heard it…?!”

“Of course. Wasn’t that the point? Someone’s husband, Lee Muheon, is the best, right?”

Muheon gave a soft chuckle as he gently ran his hand through Hakyung’s hair.

He was careful to avoid the crown of Hakyung’s head, adjusting his touch like someone who’d done it many times before.

Hakyung felt like he could melt from the feeling of those big hands massaging his scalp.

He wished he could stay like this all day instead of working.

Leaning his back against Muheon’s chest, Hakyung lifted his head and gave his sharp jawline a little kiss.

“You dry my hair so well and make the perfect chair, too… Of course Lee Muheon is the best, right?”

    “Geez…”

“Plus you’re handsome and have amazing stamina. And you get even prettier when you’re turned on. Whoever married Lee Muheon is seriously lucky!”

Pinning Muheon’s chin in place with his hands, Hakyung showered him with kisses.

Muheon, who didn’t—or couldn’t—shake off the weak grip, fully accepted the flood of affectionate kisses from his adorable lover.

He had to catch that damn bug as soon as possible so this happy daily life wouldn’t be disturbed.

Meanwhile, Gi Sang-oh, who’d come downstairs without finishing his earlier conversation thanks to Hakyung’s interruption, scowled in frustration.

Of course, he would try his best not to bother Lord Muheon, but it wasn’t easy.

For starters, sea beastmen struggled to exert power on land, and since Kim Taeyoung was human, he lacked any distinct features or scent.

That made it a real pain to find the bastard hiding among ordinary humans.

Gi Sang-oh let out a long sigh.

Had that guy been waiting for a chance to escape even after being dragged to the island?

He’d already had a bad feeling ever since hearing how cruelly and pathetically the guy had bullied Kang Hakyung as a child.

He really was a nasty piece of work, in the worst possible way.

He had absolutely no talent for tracking down humans who had gone into hiding on purpose.

Although he had an excellent sense of smell, that very gift overwhelmed him with too much information, leaving him more confused than aided.

In these peaceful times, when the scent of blood no longer lingered in the air, it wasn’t much of an advantage at all.

The West Sea beastmen were already scouring the area in all directions to capture Kim Taeyoung.

And judging by the lack of any results, they were likely facing the same problems he was.

Which meant he’d have to ask someone either from another sea, or from the land, for help…

    “Hmmm…”

    Gi Sang-oh fell into thought.

There was someone who came to mind, but the problem was that they hadn’t spoken in ages, over five years, if he was counting roughly.

He felt guilty for always contacting the guy only when he needed something, but the situation was too dire to worry about pride.

Gi Sang-oh reasoned with himself, saying he’d ask for this favor just this once and make sure to repay it properly afterward.

He swiped through his contact list with his thick fingers.

He could’ve just searched the name, but for some reason, he wanted to drag it out like this.

After scrolling for a while and nearly reaching the end, the number he was looking for finally came up.

Letting out a groan, Gi Sang-oh shut his eyes tight and hit the call button.

The ringtone rang a few times before a low, metallic-tinged voice answered.

    —Gi Sang-oh?

Just hearing his name made the muscles in Gi Sang-oh’s back go stiff.

He cleared his throat awkwardly and muttered a dumbfounded “Uh, yeah.”

The other person chuckled softly, his characteristic, slightly scratchy laugh hadn’t changed a bit.

    God, this was embarrassing.

Gi Sang-oh scratched the back of his neck and tapped his foot.

Should he ask how the guy was doing first, or jump straight to the point?

Then again, there was no point in asking after him, he was all over TV dozens of times a day.

But going straight to business felt too shameless.

“Uh, the weather’s nice,” Gi Sang-oh blurted, something completely useless that hadn’t even been on the list of options.

Then he glanced at the sky, only to see heavy clouds looming like rain could start pouring at any moment. The weather was terrible.

God, I hope he’s not in Korea right now, he thought desperately.

—Yeah, looks like it’ll rain soon. That’s good. You and I are both sea beastmen—rainy days feel nice, don’t they?

    “Uh…”

Even a random, ridiculous comment was met with a warm reply, complete with a reason he could agree with.

    ‘Where’s a hole I can crawl into?’

Blushing furiously, Gi Sang-oh smacked his own face with a palm the size of a pot lid.

—It’s been so long since I heard from you… I’m glad. But something’s up, right?

Once again, the other person gently led the conversation, showing concern for him.

That pricked Gi Sang-oh’s conscience all over again.

He stammered out what he had to say.

    “I need… a favor.”

    —From me?

“Yeah. I need to find someone and… knock some sense into him. I mean, give him a stern warning…”

Even with an old friend, saying this felt uncomfortable and guilty.

But the other man accepted the request without a hint of annoyance.

—I haven’t had any shoots or work lately, so I’ve been bored. This is perfect. I finally have something to do.

    “You’re… not busy?”

—Nope! Not busy at all! So I’ll handle this. Don’t worry.

With just one phone call, Gi Sang-oh had gained a powerful ally, and his expression visibly brightened.

After ending the call, he quickly looked up the familiar name in the entertainment news section and gave it a ‘like.’

    Beom Urim.

An actor who had naturalized from Canada to Korea, and a beastman specialized in hunting.

Especially when it came to tracking humans, there was no one better than him.
