[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: I’ll think about it if Tando comes lol

[Guild] Tando: I’ll be there ^^

    [Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: That psycho, seriously… ––;;

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: LOL okay then, my deadline’s almost done too

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: Let’s pick a date! Would be great if IngSupp could come too

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: GoSupp, can you ask him? lol

Dohee scratched his chin as he stared at the chat window that was now buzzing with talk of the meetup.

    A meetup? With Kwon Moonhyuk?

He thought of Moonhyuk, who was probably outside the room studying hard. Would he even want to go if asked? His schedule was already packed, unless it was on a weekend, it might be tough.

Dohee had just finished crafting the last piece of gear, pants with a full success bonus, and was about to call out to Moonhyuk when he paused, lost in thought.

It wasn’t like he hated the idea of a meetup. He saw Yeohoo and Yeojin pretty regularly anyway, and from what he’d heard, Yeojin and PrettyHealerHyung had met before. He’d also heard that PrettyHealerHyung had met Daeyoung offline, and RiceCake and Yeojin had once had a meal together.

There were already a few who’d met in person here and there, so this wouldn’t be some awkward or uncomfortable gathering. Dohee wasn’t the type to feel weird about that kind of thing either. Even if they were just people he knew online, who cared about sitting down for a meal?

But Moonhyuk might be different. He seemed shy, and Dohee wasn’t sure he could relax around a crowd like that. It’s not that the guildmates were bad people, far from it, but what if he got swept up in the energy and ended up drinking way too much? He couldn’t even handle alcohol, and he had work and studying the next day.

Dohee had spent a good while running through all the reasons why Kwon Moonhyuk probably shouldn’t go to a meetup, and finally sighed deeply, pressing a hand to his forehead.

    Alright, let’s be honest.

He just didn’t want to bring that handsome Kwon Moonhyuk to a guild meetup.

Only then did he start to understand how Moonhyuk must’ve felt when he’d said he didn’t like other people seeing Dohee’s face on stream. His fashion sense might be painfully outdated and hard to forgive, but setting that aside, Moonhyuk was objectively handsome. There was no denying it.

Dohee wasn’t saying this because Moonhyuk matched his personal tastes, though his taste was definitely “undeniably good-looking guys”, but because if he found Moonhyuk that good-looking, then others would too. Of course, not everyone in the world had the same taste, and no one was going to fall in love at first sight just from one look. But still. It bothered him.

As far as he knew, the only women in the guild were Yeojin and RiceCake. Yeojin was clearly into PrettyHealerHyung, so that was off the table. He didn’t know what RiceCake’s type was, but he was sure even she would find Moonhyuk good-looking.

And honestly, even if you ignored looks, Moonhyuk was a pretty great guy. He went to a good university, handled both studying and his part-time jobs responsibly. He was kind and thoughtful. Sometimes he was so naive it made Dohee wonder how he even survived in this world, but it only made him more endearing, someone you couldn’t help but want to take care of.

It wasn’t like something bad would happen if he brought Moonhyuk along to a meetup. But the thought just didn’t sit well with him. The jealousy bubbling up inside him was kind of ridiculous, even he found it laughable. They weren’t even in a special relationship (though they were living together), and he didn’t have any claim over Moonhyuk (not yet, anyway). But still, he didn’t want to share him.

Seriously, the guy got hit on just walking to lunch. He’d even seen girls give him their numbers at his part-time job. The more he thought about it, the more steam rose in his head.

Seriously, why does he have to be so damn handsome?

Dohee crossed his arms and blamed it all on Moonhyuk.

It wasn’t like he’d never been in love before. He’d liked people. He’d dated. He’d introduced new dates to Yeohoo and Yeojin without hesitation, and when someone wanted to go to a gathering, he’d just say “Sure, have fun.” Jealousy and possessiveness weren’t part of who Baek Dohee was.

‘How did I end up like this?’

He asked himself, but there was no clear answer from that little bit of soul-searching.

Honestly, if he could, he’d tell Moonhyuk to just stay home quietly and quit all his part-time jobs. When school started, he’d want to drive him there and pick him up after. If Moonhyuk wanted something to eat, Dohee would want to be the one to take him out for it. He didn’t want to introduce him to anyone. But he couldn’t do that.

That wouldn’t be for Moonhyuk’s sake. It would be controlling and destructive. He didn’t want to be the person who wrecked Moonhyuk’s social life.

If he ever actually ended up dating Moonhyuk, he figured this possessiveness might only get worse. They hadn’t even started anything, and he was already like this. The road ahead was looking rough. If he didn’t want to become some controlling jerk who ruined Moonhyuk’s life (not that Moonhyuk was even thinking of dating him), then he needed to start reining in these feelings now.

Dohee sighed again and called out toward the door.

    “Hyung.”

    “Ah, yeah?”

“I finished crafting all the gear. Wanna come try it on? Sorry if I’m interrupting your tutoring prep.”

“Oh, no! It’s fine! I’d love to!”

Moonhyuk’s face lit up as he rushed over to the game room. The place wasn’t even that big, but with those long legs of his, it only took a few steps. As he sat beside him and launched SoGod, Dohee found himself wondering.

‘Should we move to a bigger place?’

Honestly, it was like drinking the kimchi soup while there’s no rice cake yet.

Feeling proud, Dohee opened Moonhyuk’s character info window. That one line, crafted by artisan ‘GoingSupporter’, put him in a good mood. The avatar on top of the gear was also the couple set they’d gotten together before.

Might as well transfer the avatar from AssaGo to GoingSupporter soon. Even if the bracelet on Moonhyuk’s avatar had “AssaGo” name engraved on it, it didn’t matter, they were dyed to match, so anyone could tell they were a couple set.

Moonhyuk looked thrilled in his shiny new gear. He was completely absorbed in showing it off to the guild.

[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: Are you a scammer?? I’ll do it myself

    [Guild] GoingSupporter: LOLOL

Guildmates rushed to where IngSupp was and surrounded him, celebrating his level 130 milestone together. Amid the lively chat, RiceCake chimed in.

    [Guild] SoftRiceCake: Oh right! IngSupp

    [Guild] GOingSupporter187: Yes??? ㅎㅅㅎ)/

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: I asked GoSupp earlier too

[Guild] SoftRiceCake: But would you maybe wanna join our meetup after the Demon Hunter full clear???

    [Guild] YeohooHae: Right

[Guild] YeohooHae: We gotta ask 4Evil and Oreckthat too when they log on lol

Hearing that, Moonhyuk stopped his excited emotes mid-motion.

    “A meetup…?”

Dohee turned to look at him without a word. At the same time, Moonhyuk turned to look back. Their eyes met.

    Moonhyuk asked first.

“Are we going to the meetup?”
