To be honest, Dohee had worried a little.

What if no one watched the stream?

What if the viewer count stayed in the single digits?

He couldn’t pretend those thoughts hadn’t crossed his mind. Even though, realistically, he knew that wouldn’t happen, once the negativity started, it was hard to stop. That’s just how people are, when you’re feeling weak, you spiral deeper and deeper.

But those fears had no chance of becoming reality.

Not even thirty seconds had passed after the stream began when the viewer count started to shoot up. From single digits to double, then triple to four digits, it all happened in a flash. Dohee stared at the numbers in disbelief. Not even during his peak days had he ever broken four digits this quickly. And it was still rising. The chat was moving so fast it was impossible to keep up.

Dohee silently scanned the chat for a few seconds, then spotted a particularly long message that stood out.

Only then did it hit him: his face was currently on full display via cam, and he had literally written “face cam” in the stream title on purpose. Yeah, he’d wanted to stir up some attention. That was the plan. But now that it was working this well, he suddenly felt awkward. And since it was his first time ever doing a face-cam stream, it felt incredibly unnatural. Still, Dohee quickly pulled himself together, smiled, and waved toward the camera.

His signature smile, eyes crinkling into crescents, lips curling in a soft, sly arc.

“Long time no see, everyone.”

And even in the chaos, Dohee spotted Moonhyuk’s message right away:

Dohee couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Seeing the chat blow up like this after so long made Dohee laugh again. He casually dropped a line he’d prepared:

As he said that, something welled up in his chest and cut him off for a moment.

Instead of reacting to Dohee’s face reveal, though, everyone was more focused on how they sounded on stream, classic Human guild behavior. Dohee couldn’t help but feel proud.

As the raid team members joined, the chat lost its mind again. Hearing Yeohoo’s voice after a long time, seeing his twin Yeojin pop in, and the fact that this was a gathering of legendary players from the Snow Witch full clear team, it was a huge deal.

And the real chaos hit when Moonhyuk logged into voice chat.

Which meant his voice had gone live.

The guild burst into laughter, making it impossible to think straight. Even Dohee ended up snorting and giggling.

When he finally caught his breath, he looked over. Moonhyuk was staring back at him like a kicked puppy, face beet red with embarrassment.

Trying to rein in his laughter, Dohee said,

He had to take a breath again to keep from cracking up.

“He’s the hyung I mentioned earlier, the support class joining me for the Demon Hunter raid today. Please stop teasing. My hyung’s really shy, and he might just rage-quit and leave.”

For a while after, the chat kept teasing Moonhyuk relentlessly. Dohee nudged him to say hi, but with his face flushed like it might burst, Moonhyuk just shook his head no.

Eventually, Dohee shared a quick story about how they met, and the chat settled down—somewhat.

There was still a steady stream of “hahaha” flying by every few seconds.

Before they knew it, it was time for the update.
