Dohee and Moonhyuk stared hard at the Demon Hunter, eyes practically burning holes through their monitors. The red beam fired from the gun, and the map began shifting from the sky down in waves of crimson. Dohee’s heartbeat was pounding, loud enough to hear. But he didn’t even blink.

Then, just as the Demon Hunter’s eyes flashed yellow, Dohee and Moonhyuk pressed the Divine skill key for Batienjine with perfect timing, no hesitation.

“Did it work?”

Dohee asked nervously, but the answer came not from a person, but from the Demon Hunter. With a rush of wind, the wipe mechanic activated. And this time, every single raid member survived.

― Shit, it worked!

― HealerHyung, please cover the heals!

Noodle’s excited shout was followed immediately by Tando’s order. The sudden relief made Dohee’s head spin dizzyingly for a moment. When using Batienjine’s skill, a support’s mana would drop to zero and all skills would be sealed, leaving them unable to do anything, so Tando and Healer were rotating shields and healing skills in sync.

The raid members pulled their characters back reflexively, but the Demon Hunter was faster. As it straightened up, it thrust a hand forward. A chain shot out from the end of its gun and lashed toward the nearest player, 4Evil.

Before 4Evil could even say he was bound, panicked voices erupted across the voice chat.
