LS 152
by NiluFucking trash game, SoGod.
Crafting gear is supposed to be an experience where you slap on a “Master Artisan” title and still fail miserably, wasting piles of materials and gold.
And yet… unbelievably, Moonhyuk managed to get another piece as a great success right after.
Dohee had originally planned to remake everything later into a full great success set, but at this point, it felt unnecessary.
Watching the excited Moonhyuk scroll through his inventory, Dohee once again wondered if the devs had secretly rigged the RNG.
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: Not even a Master Artisan, but he got three great successes in a row…?
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: Seriously, even for IngSupp-chan,
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: those odds are just ridiculous.
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: This is heartbreaking **…
[Guild] GOingSupporter187: I’m sorry… 8ㅅ8
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: No, no, I wasn’t saying it for you to apologize
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: …sigh… this burnout is killing me
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: **No, like, I literally can’t even craft the thing rn ㅡㅡ;;;
[Guild] Tando: You’ve got insane luck, seriously ㅎㅎ;;;;
[Guild] YeojinHae: Is this even real? lmao
[Guild] YeojinHae: I gave up trying to get a great success on a level 140 item, blew a ton of money
[Guild] SoftRiceCake: FFS I want a great success too ㅠ
[Guild] SoftRiceCake: Please!!!!
[Guild] 4EvilPrettyGirl: Is this… the blessing of a newbie?
[Guild] PrettyHealerHyung: At this point, IngSupp isn’t even a newbie anymoreㅠㅠㅠ
[Guild] PrettyHealerHyung: You’re basically an old-timer now… [crying emoji]
[Guild] SoftRiceCake: For real, aren’t you basically a veteran now? Almost level 140
[Guild] SoftRiceCake: I should be happy for you, but am I really this petty…
[Guild] Tando: ㅎㅎ…..
“Why are you apologizing, Hyung?”
“I mean… still.”
“They’re just unlucky, that’s all.”
Even while saying that, Dohee was internally grinding his teeth.
Even with a Master Artisan title, he’d never managed more than two great successes in a row. And that was on a lucky day. The rest had to be salvaged and remade.
Thankfully, he had leftover materials and plenty of gold, so he stood in front of the Ladenska central fountain and began hammering in rage.
“…Am I an old-timer now?”
A ridiculous, but undeniably cute, question floated over.
Did he just ask if he’s a veteran…?
Dohee turned to look at Moonhyuk in disbelief. Veteran? Please. He hasn’t even been playing for a few months. He’s still a baby.
“You? A veteran? They’re just salty. You’re still fresh and green.”
Dohee answered firmly. The rest of the guild probably thought the same.
They were just bitter, like jealous cousins watching you buy land. Okay… fine, even Dohee was a little jealous.
[System] ‘GoingSupporter’ has crafted ‘Chaotic Darkness Pants’ with a Great Success!
They actually managed to finish the full set with great success.
Leaving behind the guildmates still struggling with materials, Dohee started equipping the completed gear.
Moonhyuk, who couldn’t wear them yet, hovered beside him with shining eyes, watching the monitor like it was magic.

“Whoa, it’s like there’s a dark aura or something!”
Moonhyuk’s voice pitched higher in excitement.
Thanks to the Lv.15 set bonus Servant of Darkness, all the character’s stats had received a massive buff.
Dohee grinned as he confirmed the spike.
It really had been worth the time, gold, and effort.
Just like Moonhyuk said, the gear gave off a soft swirling glow of violet and black mist, a gorgeous particle effect.
Yeah, this is the kind of thing that feels satisfying.
“If you equip a full great success set later, you’ll get this same effect. I’ll help you redo the pieces that didn’t get it.”
“Okay!”
His voice rang out so brightly.
You could already tell how excited he was.
[Guild] YeohooHae: Wait… full great success??
[Guild] GoingSupporter: Of course lol
[Guild] GoingSupporter: There’s no point in equipping anything that’s not a great success
[Guild] GoingSupporter: Who even wears non-great success gear anymore these days?

[Guild] Tando: Market price +3,000 gold?
[Guild] SiblingSpicyNoodle: Is this not a total scam? **Fucking SoGod
[Guild] SoftRiceCake: Wow this effect is insane lmaoo
[Guild] PrettyHealerHyung: Watching this… kinda makes me want to level up too ^_ㅠ…?
[Guild] SoftRiceCake: So true…
[Guild] YeojinHae: Wanna all go hardcore hunting later?
[Guild] PrettyHealerHyung: Hehe… My mom just gave me an errand… gotta go!
[Guild] YeojinHae: You’re not going anywhere, our little healer ^^
[Guild] PrettyHealerHyung: ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ
“I want to too…”
“Huh?”
Dohee, who was salvaging and breaking down leftover 140 gear and organizing materials, heard Moonhyuk’s faint voice in his ear.
When he turned around, Moonhyuk was looking very determined.
“I wanna start hunting really seriously from now on!”
And with such a dramatically serious expression too. What was that? Dohee almost laughed but held it in.
“Alright. Should we play together later then?”
“Yeah! I have a lot more free time now, so I wanna level up and hit the cap soon.”
Ah, the innocent determination of a newbie…From level 140 on, the required XP skyrockets exponentially. Even when Dohee was grinding twelve hours a day, it still took him months to hit 150. But he didn’t want to crush Moonhyuk’s motivation.
“Yeah. You can do it, Hyung.”
“I’ll work really hard.”
“Yup, yup.”
If the guild and I help out, maybe it won’t even take months.
No need to talk about how painful the endgame grind is.
“Wanna go do the dailies?”
Dohee had finished sorting his gear and materials and asked first. Moonhyuk glanced at the clock, then spoke hesitantly.
“U-um, I kinda wanna try that Wishing Tree event…”
He clearly felt awkward asking, since people had just been mocking the event as boring.
Dohee snorted a little laugh. As if that was something to be embarrassed about.
“Alright, then let’s get the stamp from the Wishing Tree first, then go do dailies. Or we can grind.”
“I’m good with anything! It’s almost four, so… can we do the lantern event too?”
“Sure, let’s do that.”
Leaving behind the guildmates still fixated on crafting great success gear, the two of them headed off from the central fountain.
The Wishing Sprout Tree could be found near the capitals of each continent.
Players had already captured maps and posted guides on the community board.
This is why pioneers suffer while latecomers reap the benefits.
Since they were already in Ladenska, the capital of Rowle, they decided to start there.
Valfnich, Denme, Yante, and Hendallison were all nearby, so they could hit those first to collect stamps, do dailies and some grinding, then head to Tendalon and Kelon in the evening. That way, they could get all the stamps in a single day.
The annoying part would be growing the potted plant in the inventory… but as long as they had time and didn’t forget, it would be fine.
True to its name, the “Giant Wishing Sprout Tree” was massive, obnoxiously so.
It emitted a shimmering golden aura, making it basically impossible to miss.
[System] You have discovered the ‘Giant Wishing Sprout Tree’ in Rowle!
[NPC] Zense: Welcome, adventurer! You must’ve had quite the journey getting here. Ladenska in Rowle is always warm and full of laughter. Ah! Silly me, I forgot to stamp your card… Would you like to receive the ‘Rowle’ stamp?
YES NO
When Dohee clicked the YES button, a stamp appeared on the paper that had automatically been added to the inventory.
It was now 3:43 p.m.
Nearby, a crowd of players had already started gathering for the lantern event.
As soon as well-known players like Dohee and Moonhyuk showed up, public chat exploded.
Dohee closed the chat window without hesitation. If you responded to everyone, you’d never get anything done. He gently advised Moonhyuk to turn off his chat too.
Moonhyuk looked at him like, “Can I really do that…?”
But eventually, overwhelmed by the chaotic crowd, he closed it too.
“Wow… it’s really pretty.”
Standing right in front of the tree, with golden particles sparkling all around, Moonhyuk murmured in awe.
Sword of God really did have great graphics. Dohee nodded.
“I’m glad you like it, Hyung.”
“Oh, looks like this NPC gives out lanterns too.”
At Moonhyuk’s words, Dohee clicked on NPC Zense again.
