4. Darkness Beneath the Guild

[Free Board] Anyone see the Xeno Guild and Human Guild brawling at dawn yesterday? lol

Man, I was just bored and went to the Yante coastal forest field with no expectations, and I ended up catching an absolute banger of a fight lololololol

I knew the Xeno and Human guilds didn’t get along, but this was the first time I’d seen them go at it in such a huge PvP battle. It was wild lol

I stayed far away so I wouldn’t get dragged in, but the chat was so funny I had to screenshot it.

“Mad, huh? But what~ You-gonna-cry-TVSecretJujulimitededition~” LOL what the hell was that hahahaha

It was so ridiculous I nearly lost it hahahaha. I watched till the end and logged off after, but the Human guild completely wrecked them.

Even their guild master showed up and started beating them down lolololol. I’d heard they had beef, but seeing it in person was something else.

Also, why is the Human guild so damn good at PvP? I got chills lol. They even used Dark Bombs. They were fighting for real.

No way I was keeping this hilarious show to myself, so I’m leaving this post hot and fresh for you all to enjoy too lololol

Anonymous: I saw them fight on some PvP island before lol. I checked the info tab and most of them were near max level, some were even top rankers. Why are they always fighting?

⤷ Anonymous: Way back during the Corrupted Hana era, they split up and things got really sour. I heard GoingSupporter and that Baek family fox broke off from Xeno and formed Human. Supposedly, some people who joined Human already had beef with Xeno, and it just escalated from there. Who knows what’s really true.

Anonymous: Why does Xeno suck at PvP?

⤷ Anonymous: It’s not that Xeno sucks, it’s that Human is just that good lol. Look at the SoGod ranking page. The top PvP content ranks are almost all Human guild members.

⤷ Anonymous: For real lol. People say the reason the guild’s called “Human” is because all they do is kill people. It’s like common knowledge in the game.

Anonymous: Wait, they used Dark Bombs? That stuff’s crazy expensive lol. Using that just to crush some enemies?

⤷ Anonymous: Yeah, but most of the Human guild members are rankers. They’re rich anyway. Might as well spend a bit and have fun.

⤷ Anonymous (Original Poster): I’m the one who made the post. Apparently, the Xeno guys ganged up on a newbie from the Human guild and kept killing and harassing them. Like 2v1, completely stripped the newbie down. You could tell from the chat during the fight. So the Human guild got super pissed and came in full force to wreck them.

⤷ Anonymous: Damn, that’s badass lol. But seriously, what kind of loser guild goes after newbies? Even if it’s a rival guild, come on. A newbie’s a newbie…

⤷ Anonymous: That Yante field is low-level territory anyway. Just shows they’re cowards.

⤷ Anonymous: Honestly, leaving newbies alone is like the golden rule of a good game lol

At last, Knockoff hit level 50.

The guild members were more hyped than he was. They brought Knockoff to the central fountain in the Angph Market, and Dohee crafted a badass level 50 gear set just for him.

Every piece came out as a Grand Success, so the steel set he wore was glowing like crazy. With every part a Grand Success, it even activated a 3% bonus damage set effect.

It was basically the best gear available at level 50.

While the guild debated whether they should go to Krunite or Valfnich first, Dohee and Knockoff were continuing their unfinished avatar quest.

Last night, after reaching Mune, Dohee had logged out right in front of a small statue there. Upon logging back in, he was still standing at that very spot.

Finding the NPC “Clara” was easy, this annoying couples avatar quest had stuck some weird heart icon over every NPC’s head.

Knockoff had logged in five minutes earlier and was quietly waiting in front of Clara.

In just a few days, Knockoff had been leveling up fast. To avoid getting bullied by guys like the Xeno guild members, you needed to raise your level first!

That’s what the Human guild members had decided, so even when Dohee wasn’t around, they’d protected Knockoff and carried him around to help him level up.

Still, when Knockoff asked if it was okay (if he could be carried), Dohee replied that he could. Even during his busy part-time shifts, he kept the game running. All he had to do was take Knockoff to a hunting field and stash him in a corner while he hunted. When Knockoff left the game on and went AFK, bored guild members would take turns carrying him. The Xeno guild members hadn’t shown up again since that incident, but you never knew. Ever since that happened, Knockoff was almost never left alone while he was logged in.

Anyway, seeing Knockoff standing right in front of him in the flashy gear he made, Dohee couldn’t help but feel proud of the kid who had grown up so fast. Smiling with satisfaction, he moved his character toward Knockoff’s.

[Party] AssaGo: Wait long?

[Party] GOingSupporter187: Ah, no! I’ve only been waiting like five minutes ㅎㅅㅎ It’s not even a PvP zone, so I’ve just been chilling…!

[Party] AssaGo: What’s this Soul Sync quest?

Honestly, all the couple avatar quests they’d done so far weren’t that difficult. They had little touching or romantic storylines scattered in between, and each quest only took around 30 minutes to an hour at most. Since Knockoff didn’t have that much time to play, it had just taken a while over several days.

He clicked OK. Clara went silent for a moment, and then a new popup appeared.

Mune isn’t too hot or too cold, it’s a nice, warm country. Perfect for traveling!

Dohee always packed his underwear first, neatly sealed in a clean plastic bag at the bottom of his suitcase. Clothes on top, then chargers and toiletries. That was just his routine.

Confidently, Dohee typed “underwear” into the answer box.

A short “ta-da!” sound played and a popup appeared.
