Normally, this would’ve been something to welcome with open arms. One of the biggest reasons NGA drew the ire of Support players was that the current Sword of God raid system didn’t align with the Support class at all.

Since damage-focused parties dominated, Supports were often left out of raid compositions. But seeing this, maybe NGA really was trying to revamp the raid system so no class would feel excluded. It seemed they were also considering other DPS classes that struggled to find raid spots due to weaker damage. No, rather than “maybe,” it looked like they were being considerate.

Still, even Dohee hadn’t expected NGA to so openly say, “bring Supports.”

So this is what people called a “god-tier game”? Bullshit. This was just a mess. Who runs a game based on public sentiment? Have a spine, for crying out loud!

Dohee grumbled inwardly. Either way, he’d been seriously considering taking on the Demon Hunter full-clear with his main, GoingSupporter. No matter how he looked at it, that seemed like the right move.

With grim resolve, Dohee tapped at his keyboard.

Dohee sighed softly while watching the guild chat. These people were all missing the most important point.

The guild chat fell silent at Dohee’s message. He sighed again and typed.

Even after that, guild members happily schemed about how to win Knockoff over. These selfish jokers always got strangely united when it came to things like this. As they argued over strategies to persuade him, Dohee slowly looked at the clock. There was still a long way to go until Knockoff’s usual login time.

The Demon Hunter info had finally dropped, something he’d been dying to see, but his mind was somewhere else. Dohee let out another quiet sigh.

It felt like he was ignoring a mountain of problems right in front of him. Nothing in the world ever came easy.

Knockoff logged in a bit earlier than usual around dinner time, saying he had two hours before work. Guild members instantly swarmed him.

It started with Tando asking if he’d seen the Demon Hunter raid info. Of course not. Knockoff had basically zero interest in Demon Hunter. He hadn’t even read the Winter Festival part two notice.

So everyone united in encouraging him to read it all, including Saena’s diary. When Knockoff returned from reading, Dohee stepped up.

He explained: their guild was aiming to full-clear Demon Hunter, they’d be going head-to-head with the Xeno raid team, Knockoff didn’t exactly love Xeno, they needed a Support, and if Knockoff agreed to join, they’d find the remaining Support themselves. He could do it.

After the brief, persuasive pitch, Knockoff began raising core issues.

“I just hit level 70. How am I supposed to get to 130?” he asked. Noodle confidently replied that they’d power level him. The experience curve only got brutal after 135, 130 was doable with intense grinding.

The second issue: Knockoff had no confidence. He barely ran server raids with just guildmates, how could he join a world raid? He sucked at the game. He’d just be a burden. Excuse after excuse.

The guild banded together in a self-esteem-boosting campaign for him.
