Moonhyuk’s eyes flew wide open. No joke, Dohee had never seen him open his eyes that wide before. He looked even more shocked than the day Dohee revealed he was GoingSupporter. Through the thin layer of clothing between them, Dohee could feel Moonhyuk’s body go stiff as a board.

Shit, is he gonna faint or something?

He was the one who dropped the nuke, yet Dohee tilted his head with perfect calm.

“…Huh?”

Moonhyuk seemed totally out of it. His face went blank, like he couldn’t process a single thought.

A guy with not even a speck of a romantic cell in his body, that was Kwon Moonhyuk. And somehow, knowing that made Dohee feel more relaxed.

It was a fruit he probably wouldn’t ever get to taste. But hey, he might as well poke at it, maybe it’ll fall.

“You just said something really sweet, that’s why.”

“Ah…?”

“You know how you’re supposed to give kisses when someone does something good?”

“W-what?”

“That’s what we did in my house growing up, anyway.”

“N-no, wait – yes? I mean – no, wait, yes – but also no!”

“No? Then forget it.”

Dohee smoothly stepped back. He’d only been poking the fruit, not trying to eat it right away.

No one likes unripe fruit anyway. He shrugged casually.

Moonhyuk’s hands hovered uselessly in the air, lost after their abrupt separation.

Maybe his grandpa used to give him kisses as praise or something. Dohee had made it up, but it wasn’t far from the truth, it seemed.

Watching the bewildered look on Moonhyuk’s face, Dohee smiled with a sparkle in his eyes.

“I’ll show you more of the stream gear later. For now, let’s eat. It’s probably all cold by now. Hurry up.”

With that, he turned away without hesitation. If Moonhyuk was confused, all the better.

If Dohee’s guess was right, this guy had never dated anyone in his life. Maybe he’d liked someone before, but who knew?

Not that it mattered. Dohee had already licked it and claimed it. He wasn’t planning on letting anyone else have it.

He threw out the cold rice and dished out a fresh serving.

Watching Moonhyuk approach the table still wearing that dazed expression, Dohee beamed brightly.

First things first, feed him.

Nothing in this world was more powerful than winning someone over with food.

SiblingSpicyNoodle had just maxed out their weapon enhancement.

Weapons and armor could be upgraded to a maximum of seven stars.

With each level, the required materials – and time and money to gather them would increase drastically.

Hitting ★7 was called a “full upgrade” or full enhance.

To fully enhance an entire level 140 gear set took serious investment.

Healers usually started with the headgear that gave the most HP (since healing scales with HP), and DPS classes prioritized their weapons.

The rest was handled when funds allowed. SiblingSpicyNoodle played a Striker, and their weapon – the gauntlet – had a design with small blades embedded between metal joints.

Before enhancement, it looked unimpressive, but once it hit ★7, it shimmered with a gorgeous glow.

The success rate wasn’t too low despite the expensive cost, so on average, people succeeded in around 10 tries.

But AssaGo’s character had terrible luck and burned a lot of money trying.

Dohee didn’t remember spending this much enhancing GoingSupporter’s set.

AssaGo’s was cursed, clearly.

If they hadn’t been aiming for the Snow Witch perfect clear title, it wouldn’t have even been worth dumping this much money into.

He was hoping SiblingSpicyNoodle would suffer a little longer, but thanks to support from Tando and Daeyoung (on credit, admittedly), they gathered materials faster than expected and mashed that enhance button in one go.

They succeeded on the 11th try.

SiblingSpicyNoodle had bad luck too, the weapon was the last piece to hit ★7.

Now Dohee couldn’t even tease them anymore about not being fully enhanced.

He smacked his lips.

Shit. This was why Dohee had hoped SiblingSpicyNoodle would fail the weapon enhance. He clicked his tongue.

Right then, Moonhyuk, who’d been hovering near Noodle’s character to admire the full-enhance weapon effect, flinched.

Dohee pretended not to notice and typed in the chat.

The guild members, who had gathered around Ladenska market square fountain to watch the weapon enhance fireworks, started getting up one by one.

They’d assembled hoping for a drawn-out struggle, but the enhance had succeeded way too fast, killed the vibe.

Not that it mattered to SiblingSpicyNoodle, who was still flooding the chat with “ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ” while admiring their shiny gauntlets.

Logged-in members included: SiblingSpicyNoodle, Tando, Daeyoung, Yeojin, Yeohoo, HealerHyung, SoftRiceCake, EvilUncle, Oreckthat, and Moonhyuk and Dohee.

There were other members who dropped in occasionally, but these ten were basically the core team.

4Evil and Oreckthat didn’t log in as often, but lately they’d been more active prepping for their Demon Hunter runs.

With Daeyoung out fetching items for Tando, the rest of them were the usual raid group.

So, like Tando said, doing the quest together wasn’t a bad idea.

The only problem was, Dohee had really wanted to do that quest alone with Moonhyuk.

“Ah, I’m getting party invites.”

“…Accept it.”

SoftRiceCake had been AFK for a bit but returned just in time to congratulate Noodle and shoot out party invites.

When it came to raiding, parties had to be split in two to enter the dungeon, but for normal party play, you could have up to 12 in one group.

Moonhyuk’s support hidden quest was almost done.

The prelude quest wouldn’t take too long, if they cleared it fast, he’d probably get his hidden skill by the end of the day.

Dohee glanced sideways at Moonhyuk. Blissfully unaware of Dohee’s inner thoughts, the guy was beaming.

Not even a little excited when it’s just me and you? Dohee almost asked, but barely held it in.

Get it together, Baek Dohee. Don’t get jealous over dumb stuff. It had been a while since they’d all gathered on the same map instead of just chatting.

There was debate about whether to use teleport scrolls or take the scheduled airship for fun.

Someone suggested having one person teleport and the others follow by friend request.

In the end, they agreed to take the airship, because Moonhyuk said he wanted to.

Even with his level creeping up on 127, the guild still treated Moonhyuk like a fragile little baby duckling.

Dohee could feel Moonhyuk smiling beside him.

He couldn’t help but laugh quietly himself as he followed the group toward the airship.

Whatever the case, this was the first official step toward Demon Hunter perfect clear.
