    <Lost Demon Hunter>

In Search of the Sacred Relics #2

? This quest continues the main storyline of the World Raid ‘The Lost Demon Hunter.’

Return to the NPC ‘Priest of the Goddess Kelathus’ to receive the quest item.

Would you like to move to ‘Kelathus’s Temple’ now?

    YES / NO

    ! Notes

▷ All party members must complete the quest to enter the Demon Hunter dungeon.

▷ All parts of the ‘In Search of the Sacred Relics’ questline grants access to the ‘The Lost Demon Hunter’ dungeon.

Apparently, it was kind enough to warp them straight to Kelathus Temple. For once, the game was being generous. Laughing about how rare that was, Dohee, Moonhyuk, and the other guild members clicked YES.

The screen transitioned, and they arrived in front of the temple. With ten characters moving all at once, the scene was a bit chaotic. Dohee stretched with a long yawn, and Moonhyuk asked,

    “Oh, are you tired?”

“Hm? No. Just stretching. You should do it too.”

Moonhyuk followed instructions perfectly, he stretched just like Dohee, rolling his neck a little. Watching him, Dohee suddenly realized he was smiling fondly.

Seriously, what a sight, Baek Dohee. But he couldn’t help it.

Right beside him sat a sweet, handsome, adorable guy, obediently following his every suggestion, including stretching. How could that not be cute? Now that would be unreasonable.

Without resting, the guild moved inside. A priest loitering near the entrance spotted them and hurried over.

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: You’ve returned! Are you ready to begin your search for the relic?

    : Yes.

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: Then please follow me. There’s a vault where we store sacred items of the temple.

    : Understood.

The priest turned and led the way into the inner temple. A wide staircase appeared to the left, leading underground. As they descended, the guild began chatting.

[Party] 4EvilPrettyGirl: This quest’s longer than I thought.

[Party] SoftRiceCake: Ahahaha, 4Evil’s way of speaking sounds just like that merchant NPC

[Party] Tando: I think this is my first time getting a relic-hunting quest, haha

[Party] Tando: The Kelathus Temple doesn’t really show up much even in the main story

[Party] YeohooHae: Compared to the other temples, yeah, it’s kind of sidelined

[Party] YeohooHae: But the lore about the goddess and the Denme royal family was kinda fun lol

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: The hell are y’all even saying…?

[Party] Tando: Okay, next up, Mr. Skips-Everything~ hehe

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: EXCUSE me, I do watch the main story!

[Party] Tando: I do too ^^

    [Party] GOingSupporter187: Me too… I watch it… 8ㅅ8

[Party] PrettyHealerHyung: [crying emoji] The SoGod story’s actually pretty fun though…ㅠㅠㅠㅠ lol

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: ?? Even you, Healer?

[Party] PrettyHealerHyung: I skipped at first, but I watched it later on ㅠㅋㅋ

[Party] SoftRiceCake: I watched the last four continents’ stories lmaoo those were good

[Party] SoftRiceCake: Noodle, you’re so cruel lol I’ve never seen someone skip from beginning to end

[Party] Oreckthat: Classic Noodle the Skipper! ∠( ᐛ 」∠)_

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: Great, I’m the only one who skips again, huh?!

[Party] YeojinHae: I don’t watch either lol

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: UGH why is it always just me you guys gang up on?!

[Party] Tando: Why do you think that is?

[Party] Tando: Time for a little self-reflection ^^

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: …Is this really the Human guild or what

[Party] GoingSupporter: Yup. It is lol

[Party] GoingSupporter: Looks like we’re here.

Following the priest while chatting away, they eventually reached a large storage room. Speaking to the priest outside resumed the quest.

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: Please wait here. Outsiders are not allowed beyond this point.

    : Understood.

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: Ah, would you mind leaving the box with me? I think it would be best to store it here temporarily while you search for the relic. This place is protected by Kelathus’s power, it should keep that dark energy contained.

: I’ll leave it with you.

Once accepted, the quest item disappeared from the inventory.

[System] You have lost the quest item ‘Old Jade Box’!

The priest carefully wrapped the box in his robe and disappeared into the vault. He soon returned holding a scroll, and a system message appeared.

[System] You have obtained the quest item ‘Secret Map of Kelathus Temple’.

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: This map has been kept safe in the temple’s vault for many years.

: What kind of map is it?

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: If you open it, you’ll find detailed markings of Wornan, nearby villages, and the surrounding desert. The red circle marks the assumed location of the first relic.

Until now, there’s been no one to brave that harsh desert and retrieve it. Our priests can’t leave the temple easily, and the area’s crawling with monsters, not to mention the terrible weather…

: So this is the “barren desert where not even a single oasis can be found”?

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: That’s what we believe. Though I must admit it’s somewhat irresponsible – no one’s ever actually been there, so we don’t know its proper name. But the fact that you’ve come all this way, with a box whose seal is unraveling… surely it’s by the will of Kelathus herself.

    : …You might be right.

He talks a good game. In any case, the so-called “priests” in Sword of God –those NPCs – always had a way with words. “By Kelathus’s will,” yeah right. This was an NGA quest, you bastard.

Even as Dohee snorted internally, his hands continued diligently progressing the quest.

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: Would you care to open the map?

    : Open it.

At the priest’s suggestion, Dohee clicked on the map in his inventory, and it expanded to fill the screen. Among the newly unlocked areas around Wornan, a red circle was marked all the way on the westernmost edge. Clearly, the quest was designed to force players to trek through every nearby field to get there.

Couldn’t they have just let them teleport here too, like they did with the temple?

Apparently, Dohee wasn’t the only one thinking that. The chat started blowing up.

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: COME ON just give us a teleport scroll already!!!!!!!

[Party] SoftRiceCake: Even if they did, it’d be useless, we’ve never been to this map anyway lmaooo

    [Party] Tando: It’s almost over, I think… but yeah, this one’s a bit of a hassle ^^;;

[Party] YeojinHae: No but seriously wtf can they just give us a damn teleport, come on

[Party] YeojinHae: We have to cross like five maps;;; this is some bullshit

[Party] GoingSupporter: Less whining, more moving

[Party] Oreckthat: Ughhh this is so GoSupp-core… (╯•﹏•╰) relentless, relentless….. (╯•﹏•╰)

[Party] Tando: Let’s just go finish it up quick haha

When Dohee closed the map, the orange exclamation mark reappeared above the priest’s head. Speaking to him brought up a new quest window:

    <Lost Demon Hunter>

In Search of the Sacred Relics #3

? This is the final quest leading to the The Lost Demon Hunter World Raid main storyline.

Receive the item ‘Token of the Goddess Kelathus’ from NPC ‘Priest of the Goddess Kelathus’ and proceed to the marked location on the map.

Once you arrive, the quest will automatically continue.

    !Notes

▷Do not destroy the item ‘Token of the Goddess Kelathus’ in your inventory.

▷ Without the Token, you cannot proceed with the quest.

▷ If you lose the Token, you must restart the entire prelude quest.

▷ All party members must complete the quest to enter the Demon Hunter dungeon.

▷ Upon completing the “In Search of the Sacred Relics” quest, you will gain access to the The Lost Demon Hunter dungeon.

As soon as he closed the window, the system chimed and added the item.

[System] You have obtained the quest item ‘Token of the Goddess Kelathus’.

[System] Please be careful not to destroy the item in your inventory.

    The priest continued speaking.

[NPC] Priest of the Goddess Kelathus: No matter how perilous the path ahead, the Token of Kelathus will guide you once to the correct path. May her blessing brush past you like the wind with every step you take.

: …The breeze at your fingertips carries a greater dream.

That ended the dialogue. Since the quest would automatically proceed upon reaching the map location, there was no more reason to linger here.

[Party] YeohooHae: Looks like this emblem’s the dungeon entry item

[Party] GoingSupporter: Yeah, seems like it

[Party] YeohooHae: With all that “guide you to the right path” talk

[Party] YeohooHae: We might need to use it mid-quest, too…?

    [Party] GoingSupporter: Maybe??

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: But like who the hell’s gonna destroy it lmao??? That’s hilarious

[Party] Tando: Be careful, Noodle~ hehe

    [Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: ????? No, come on, I’m not that dumb;;;;

[Party] Tando: If you say so ^^

[Party] SoftRiceCake: LMAOO I once accidentally deleted a dungeon key item in another game

    [Party] YeohooHae: Lmao you idiot…

[Party] SoftRiceCake: It was fine tho, they just gave me another one lmaoo

    [Party] GOingSupporter187: Can’t we lock this item… 8ㅅ8???

[Party] YeojinHae: Whoa, that’s character development from IngSupp

[Party] SoftRiceCake: fr lmaoo this dude used to be hopeless with storage, now he’s asking about item locking

[Party] GoingSupporter: Can’t lock quest items lol

    [Party] GOingSupporter187: Ah… ㅠㅡㅠ

[Party] SiblingSpicyNoodle: Enough talking, let’s move. We gotta cross like five damn maps, ugh.

Surprisingly, no one objected this time. The guild followed Noodle’s lead and moved their characters out of the temple. There were a few reluctant groans here and there, but one way or another, they were approaching the end of the Demon Hunter prelude quest.
