Stairs of Paradox

Neon lights spread like blood vessels throughout the steel city, where time becomes a tradable commodity. The rich live in a technologically advanced era, while the poor are trapped in a backward past, plunging the world into chaos and disorder.

The swindler, Fangpian, is cunning, shrewd, and adept at selling lies. When he once again tries to swindle time from a wealthy member of the Time Entropy Group, he encounters the group’s top hunting dog. The ruthless henchman intend to kill him.

One day after his lucky escape, a torrential downpour occurred, and the swindler unexpectedly encountered his enemy in a junkyard.

The other person’s brain chip was damaged, and his consciousness and memories were blurred. He struggled to ask him:

“Who are you?”

The swindler, without batting an eye, told a colossal lie:
