    Chapter Index

    “Uuh……”

Alpha pheromones left a vivid mark inside his omega, a clear sign that he belonged to him. The sensation of being claimed made Aeryl shudder, and yet—because it was Hiello—it also made him so happy he felt like he was losing his mind.

It wasn’t until Aeryl went limp and was catching his breath that Hiello finally finished. As he pulled out, Hiello lay down beside him, and Aeryl rolled into his arms, letting himself be held.

He could feel Hiello’s heart beating fast. Their equally overheated bodies and light, shared breaths stirred something deep in his chest.

Aeryl felt like he was starting to calm down. A little while ago, his mind had been filled with nothing but the Alpha’s cock and cum—but now, he just wanted to breathe again.

But Hiello wasn’t done. His hand trailed along Aeryl’s thigh, then slid up to cup his ass.

    “Again?”

“You are in heat. Was that enough?”

Hielo asked innocently, but at the same time, he released his pheromones, wrapping Aeryl in hos scent.

You want my body, don’t you? You want to feel good all over and get filled to the brim with cum, right?

The blatant temptation carried through the pheromones stirred a response in Aeryl, blood rushing to his lower belly as his pheromones began to rise. He was still in heat, after all.

    ***

‘Whose heat is this supposed to be?’

    Aeryl wondered blankly.

He had no idea how much time had passed since his heat had started. All he could remember was clinging to Hiello, desperate for his semen and his body. He’d fallen asleep satisfied, but from the next day on, the tables had turned.

Hiello had kept seducing Aeryl with his pheromones, and Aeryl, still in the middle of his heat, had been at his mercy. He recalled begging him to stop, only barely managing to bring it to an end. But in the end, he had still awakened to Hiello’s touch and accepted him again. From beginning to end, it had been nothing but sex.

‘I’m the on in heat, so why is Hiello…?’

He had no way of knowing that Hiello had used the opportunity to finally release the pent-up frustration from his improved stamina. All Aeryl knew for sure was that by the time he came to his senses, his heat had already ended.

    “Aeryl. Did you sleep well?”

With a beaming face, Hiello pressed a kiss to Aeryl’s cheek. His hand slid naturally down to Aeryl’s rear, and he could feel pheromones wrapping around him again.

There’d been a time when he couldn’t sense them at all, but now they teased his Omega instincts so familiarly, so seductively. At this rate, it was going to happen again.

‘I really can’t take any more!’

This time, Aeryl truly felt a sense of danger. He shot up from the bed and bolted to the window. The moment he flung it open, an icy gust slammed into him, cold enough to kill.

    “Aeryl?”

“No more. I can’t do this anymore. Stop releasing pheromones. Stop tempting me. My heat is over!”

Aeryl cried out in desperation. For someone like him, so sensitive to the cold, to go this far meant he was truly at his limit. Realizing that desperate gesture, Hiello finally accepted that the good days were over.

“All right. I won’t do anything. But let’s close the window, it’s freezing.”

“No, I need to get dressed. And I’m leaving this room.”

“Okay, okay. Let’s get dressed. You’ve got goosebumps.”

Hiello quickly shut the window and wrapped Aeryl in a thick blanket. Seeing that Aeryl was still on guard, he rang the bell to summon a maid. After a short pause, a maid appeared at the door.

“Did you call for me, Your Grace?”

    “Bring clothes.”

    “Yes, Your Grace.”

A moment later, the maid cracked open the door and slid the clothes inside. It was a routine developed out of necessity—to deliver food and water even while knowing full well what was happening inside during an Omega’s heat. Not that Aeryl had any idea.

He rushed to the door and quickly dressed himself from undergarments to overcoat in record time. Only once Hiello saw him fully dressed did he feel reassured enough to do the same.

“Shall we eat in the dining room for the first time in a while?”

Hiello suggested cheerfully. Aeryl took a happy step forward—only for his legs to give out beneath him.

    “Huh?”

“Maybe it’s because you haven’t been eating properly. I thought I was feeding you, but…”

Hiello’s expression turned worried as he picked Aeryl up and carried him out of the room.

The maids and attendants waiting outside bowed their heads immediately upon seeing Aeryl in Hiello’s arms, but their startled, wide eyes had already betrayed their shock.

“Prepare a meal. He’s only had soup for three days—make something easy to digest.”

    Hiello ordered.

Only then did Aeryl realize that they had spent three whole days and nights doing nothing but having sex. And now, everyone in the inner quarters knew it, too.

    ‘Ughhhhh…’

Aeryl could tell from their overly composed expressions that they were all thinking things like “impressive” or “what a performance.” His face turned even redder.

With no hole to crawl into, Aeryl could only bury his face in Hiello’s chest. Hiello, pleased, carried him to the dining room in his arms.

    ***

Right after lunch, Lady Merel visited the Central Wing.

She refused to let the attendants guide her to the family lounge and instead settled in the drawing room. Aeryl quietly stayed close to Hiello, but he desperately pleaded, not wanting to show such a sight in front of the lady.

“You know, she’ll tease you for at least the next ten years if she sees us like this! You have no idea how playful she can be, right?”

    “I know.”

Though reluctant, Hiello complied with Aeryl’s request and let him down in front of the drawing room. After adjusting his clothes, the two of them entered.

Lady Merel, who had been admiring a painting on the wall, turned to look at Aeryl and Hiello when the door opened. Her gaze then locked onto Aeryl’s feet. Since Aeryl had been carried around, he was only wearing socks.

“Oh, does the future Grand Duchess not need shoes?”

She was already smirking, her eyes sparkling.

    “Indeed…”

    Aeryl answered weakly.

“You really don’t have any energy, do you? It’s no fun.”

Lady Merel made her way to the sofa and sat down. Hiello sat across from her and pulled Aeryl closer to him, wrapping an arm around his waist, causing Lady Merel to chuckle incredulously at their close embrace.

“Are you worried someone might steal him away?”

    “Yes.”

Hiello answered so seriously that Lady Merel completely lost her intent to tease.

“Really, Your Grace is always so dull. When you were pining for him, you were so much more fun.”

Lady Merel briefly looked nostalgic before moving on to the main topic. The teasing had lost its charm, and she wasn’t interested in watching them being so lovey-dovey.

“I finished up the party. No one noticed why you two disappeared. I was so grateful for the soundproofing at the Grand Duke’s castle!”

    “Thank you.”

Aeryl blushed. He had organized the party and felt embarrassed since he had disappeared with Hiello and locked himself away in the bedroom.

“No, it was enjoyable in its own way. It was thanks to your careful preparations.”

“You helped in many ways too.”

    “That’s true.”

Lady Merel took a sip of her tea. Aeryl instinctively sensed that the real reason for her visit was about to come out. He also realized that this conversation would determine whether he could secure Lady Merel’s future support.

“Actually, I came to talk to His Grace about Sorel.”

“Yes, I’ve been concerned about Sorel’s future as well.”

Hiello took a sip of his tea at their exchange. Frankly, he could only remember how hot Aeryl’s body had felt and how alluring his pheromones were. Aeryl had insisted on staying to hear the entire performance, even though he wasn’t feeling well, and Hiello had just been waiting for it to finish.

    “Please, go ahead.”

Hiello demonstrated his skill in pretending to know things he didn’t. Lady Merel spoke up, her face showing a bit of tension.

“I’m planning to teach Sorel music seriously.”

“Do you want him to become a musician?”

“I’ve given up on deciding what he should do. His talent is exceptional, and he enjoys it, so I just want to teach him properly.”

“Sorel is from the northern region, so his training in swordsmanship and physical conditioning must never be reduced.”

Hiello was firm on this matter. It was generally believed that no matter what role Sorel took, as a northern man, he needed the strength to protect his family.

“So, you want to stop his studies in management and governance?”

Aeryl asked. Lady Merel nodded. Though she had given up on ambition, Sorel was still first in line to inherit the title since the Grand Duke had no other heirs, so she had reduced his lessons but kept them going.

“Looking at the two of you, it seems like an heir will come along quickly. So, I want to stop unnecessary lessons and invest in his real talents instead.”
