Six months have already passed since President Kim, having settled most of his club affairs, established his own agency and began actively recruiting actors and entertainers.

There was much speculation in the industry about the company’s meteoric rise and rapid growth. However, thanks to its impressive lineup of stars, commercials and broadcasting offers were frequent, and thanks to this, it was safe to say that the company had established itself.

Then, President Kim faced another dilemma: recruiting new talent. Any company needs new faces to avoid stagnation.

“Should we hold a large-scale audition for new talent, or should we ask our managers to find a suitable one?”

As President Kim pondered this with his arms folded, his secretary approached him and relayed the message.

“Sir, Mr. Pyo Jaebeom, CEO of Sunshine Savings Bank, wants to speak to you. Should I connect?”

    “Did Mr. Pyo call?”

    “Yes.”

As President Kim’s voice grew shaky, his secretary, noticing his reaction, added:

“Should I tell him you’re out of the office?”

He wanted to pretend like nothing happened and ignore him, as his secretary said. But how could he possibly do that in his situation?

After all, it was Pyo Jaebeom who connected him with Chairman Jang to make up for the funding shortfall when the agency was founded.

    “Yes, CC Entertainment’s Kim Cheol…”

    –Mr. Kim, how are you?

Before he could even finish his sentence, a slow voice interrupted, and President Kim’s face crumpled.

“Uh, I’m doing fine. How’s Mr. Pyo? I heard you’ve been really busy since getting married.”

–You’re still interested in my personal life, huh?

Mr. Kim’s heart simmered as he remembered the time he’d sneaked up on Pyo Jaebeom to catch a glimpse of his omega face and gotten grabbed by the collar in the middle of the street.

But what could he do? Jaebeom invested in the company!

This is why it’s miserable to be the one in the weaker position. Miserable.

“No, it’s not like that. But what made you call?”

President Kim, unable to express his regret to Pyo Jaebeom, who had said he was busy even at the opening ceremony and only sent a flower pot, forced a composed expression and licked his lower lip.

He racked his brain, but nothing came to mind.

–Isn’t it time to start looking for a new talent?

    “Huh? Huh? Huh? Right?”

At the words, which seemed to pierce through his thoughts, President Kim glanced around. He wondered if they had installed CCTV cameras.

Of course, there was no way that could happen.

–I’ll introduce you to someone who is an experienced rookie.

    “Huh?”

–An omega rookie actor. I’ll bring him myself.

    “Huh?”

President Kim pulled the phone away for a moment, doubting his ears, then checked again. It was definitely Pyo Jaebeom’s number. That meant he hadn’t misheard.

“CEO Pyo himself is bringing someone?”

    –Why? You don’t believe me?

    “No, that can’t be true.”

Even as he said that, President Kim’s face remained blank.

“You won’t tell me who it is, right?”

–No. I’ll go with him so wait for us.

President Kim’s cheeks twitched at what sounded like a formal announcement than a request. But he could only politely reply, “Okay.”

“Who on earth is he planning to bring in?”

A face suddenly flashed before his mind, but he shook his head.

    “No way…”

Of course, Pyo Jaebeom wouldn’t bring in his omega to debut in the entertainment industry.

“Though his petite frame and face are appealing.”

While President Kim stroked his chin, mulling over the visit, his secretary called again to announce the arrival of a guest.

    “Who?”

“The CEO of Sunshine Savings Bank, the person you spoke with earlier.”

President Kim’s bewildered gaze shifted to the clock on the wall. It had only been five minutes since the call.

    “What? Already?”

“Yes. He said he’d be arriving in ten minutes.”

President Kim frowned again at the seemingly urgent request to wait.

“Damn it, this is so petty and annoying!”

When he suddenly yelled, the secretary flinched, wondering if he was yelling at her. Fortunately, President Kim only grabbed the jacket he had thrown on a chair and headed toward the door.

“I’ll be back soon, so prepare some desserts in advance.”

The secretary, who assumed he was a rather important guest, quickly nodded in agreement as President Kim stepped out into the hallway.

As he waited in the underground parking lot, a familiar car glided in. The back door opened, and Jaebeom got out. Without even glancing at President Kim, he extended his hand to the person inside.

    “Who on earth is it?”

President Kim, increasingly curious, couldn’t take his eyes off the ground when someone stepped down.

    “Ah…”

Suddenly, a sigh spilled from President Kim’s lips. The person Pyo Jaebeom had brought along as a rookie was none other than his spouse.

“Hello. My name is Lee Eun-sol.”

Eunsol greeted him with a nervous expression. Jaebeom had given him a brief explanation on the way from home, but he still couldn’t relax.

    Why not?

The agency he had visited today was known as a dark horse, having recently entered the market with a slew of stars.

“Yes, welcome. I’m Kim Cheolgyu, president of CC Entertainment.”

Eunsol, who was about to take the hand extended with a salesy smile, blinked at the large hand that shook his hand before he could.

“Nice to meet you, I’m Pyo Jaebeom.”

President Kim’s eyes flashed with displeasure as he watched Jaebeom smirk. Unaware of the subtle tension between them, Eunsol awkwardly lowered his raised hand and wiggled his fingers.

“Okay, then shall we go upstairs and talk?”

    “Yes!”

President Kim’s feelings were complex as he watched Eunsol, who was filled with energy. Indeed, just looking at his appearance, he looked exactly like the person he was looking for.

His voice was also a calm, beautiful voice, and he could easily be trained as a singer. Of course, they’d have to see if he could sing.

“Let’s go to the president’s office.”

President Kim’s cheek twitched at the seemingly obvious request, which came out as soon as they entered the executive elevator. Yes, the problem was that alpha standing next to him.

“Let’s go to the reception room instead.”

President Kim, feeling uneasy, spoke sullenly. Only then did Eunsol, realizing the awkward atmosphere, glance between the two of them.

He looked at Jaebeom, asking him to explain, but he only smiled meaningfully and didn’t say much.

Well, what could he say here and now? He should definitely ask later. As he thought about it, the elevator stopped at the top floor.

President Kim tried to lead him to the reception room next to his office.

“I think the president’s office would be nice.”

But Jaebeom went even further, suggesting he wanted to go to his office.

    “Why there?”

President Kim said, his voice rising, but Jaebeom calmly retorted.

“You wouldn’t treat me the same way as everyone else, would you?”

“…Of course. I’ve built this successful agency thanks to CEO Pyo’s investment, so I can’t do that.”

“It was just an investment, I told you.”

“You said you’d have a favor to ask of me soon. Was that it?”

    “I don’t know.”

What does that mean? Eunsol felt confused, unable to keep up with their conversation. Earlier, they’d greeted each other as if they were complete strangers, but now, looking back, they seemed quite close.

“Are you referring to me when you say ‘favor?'”

He was full of questions, but unable to ask them, his frustration only mounting. Before he knew it, he’d arrived at President Kim’s office.

Jaebeom chuckled as his secretary prepared refreshments, as if she’d been waiting for him. He realized that President Kim had deliberately mentioned the reception room, even though he’d already known he’d be there.

“Okay, then let’s get down to business.”

As Eunsol drank his coffee, President Kim cleared his throat and began to speak.

“First of all, thank you for coming to our company. Normally a staff member handles this, but as you know, you’re very special, so I wanted to do this myself.”

President Kim smiled, emphasizing the word special and glancing at Jaebeom. Seeing that made Eunsol give an awkward smile.

“You don’t have to treat me like that, that’s okay. I’m ready for anything.”

At those words, President Kim swallowed the words he couldn’t express.

“You might be like that, but your spouse would probably kill me.”

The memory of being grabbed by the collar in the middle of the street came flooding back. Hadn’t Jaebeom explicitly warned him not to make the same mistake again when they met six months ago, under the guise of an investment?

“You’re so motivated! It’s great to see a newcomer taking on this kind of challenge, and it leaves a good impression.”

Eunsol couldn’t be overjoyed by the continued praise. He knew that President Kim’s positive evaluation of him was due to Jaebeom’s presence.

“Ahem, I’ll bring the contract over first. Let’s read it over and work out what needs to be adjusted. Have a cup of tea.”

President Kim said that and left the room for a moment.
