As soon as he got in the car, the manager handed Eunsol a small container.

“Here, take this. It’s a deodorizer.”

    “Deodorizer?”

When Eunsol made a face asking why he needed it, the manager wrinkled his nose and explained.

“I’m a beta, so I don’t know much about it, but people with traits always spray it after filming. They say pheromones from other alphas or omegas get on them without realizing.”

    “Ah…”

A veteran manager is different after all. As Eunsol nodded and sprayed the deodorizer all over his body, the manager continued.

“It’s fine if you’re single, but if you have a spouse or someone you’re dating, it can cause fights.”

That naturally reminded him of Park Seunghyun from the set earlier, who had looked down on him while subtly releasing pheromones. He hadn’t thought much of it since the pheromones weren’t strong, but that must have been a mistake.

Even if he himself still lacked awareness as a trait holder and didn’t feel it much, Jaebeom might notice. And the twins are sensitive to alpha pheromones too.

    “Thank you.”

“What for? It’s all part of a manager’s job.”

When Eunsol bowed his head, the manager smiled calmly and brushed it off. Worried that some smell might remain somewhere, Eunsol carefully sprayed the deodorizer all over.

    ‘I should prepare one myself.’

He added deodorizer to his list of things to bring to the set. Relying on the manager to provide it every time didn’t feel secure, so he figured he should carry an extra one.

After covering himself in deodorizer, he immediately took his phone. The notifications were piled up with things from Jaebeom.

Mostly photos and videos, with short messages attached saying the twins were playing well and he was fine too.

“Aw, the babies are really cute and bright-eyed.”

The manager, who was also looking at his own phone, glanced at Eunsol’s screen. A video was playing of Beomwoo and Eunwoo struggling to roll over.

“Right? You don’t know how energetic they both are. They laugh a lot and play well.”

Like any parent, when talk of his kids came up, Eunsol’s face brightened even more.

“I see. How many months did you say?”

    “Four months now.”

“Really? I thought they were like 6-7 months. Their growth is impressive!”

“Yeah, it seems that way, huh?”

Eunsol looked at the screen with a proud face. Just then, in the video, Beomwoo tilted his body to the side and finally succeeded in rolling onto his back.

Right after passing 100 days, it was accidental success, and there were a few failures after that, but now he could change positions so skillfully.

Eunwoo was different, succeeding maybe once out of ten tries, but every parent thinks their child is special.

Noticing that Eunsol, who had seemed thoughtful as if something happened on set, was now in a better mood, the manager finally relaxed and glanced at the driver’s seat.

Their eyes met through the rearview mirror with Bulgom, and the two exchanged a brief silent conversation before looking away. Bulgom probably guessed what the manager wanted to say from that alone.

He had already sent Jaebeom a simple report about the first shoot, but the detailed situation was better conveyed by the road manager.

At first, the road manager’s tough look made him suspect a gangster background, but he was actually skilled at driving and quick-witted.

After driving for over an hour, the car stopped at the entrance of the apartment complex where the manager lived.

“Good work, manager! Get home safe.”

“Yes, you rest well too, Actor Eunsol. See you in four days.”

When Eunsol bowed in greeting, the manager returned the nod. Usually, managers drop off actors, but with Bulgom as road manager, the order switched. No one said it was strange, though.

As soon as he was alone in the car, Eunsol immediately called Jaebeom.

    -On your way now?

“Yeah. Just dropped off Manager Bae at home. We should be there in about 30 minutes.”

    -How was the shoot?

“I was a bit nervous actually, but it was fun to act after so long.”

-I knew you’d do great from the start.

The certain words made Eunsol scratch his cheek awkwardly. Well, that’s natural since he’s experienced. Plus, today didn’t have many lines. Thinking back to when he got criticized for bad acting and got intimidated, making more mistakes as filming went on, he felt proud of himself. Now he knew that was a way to bully easy targets without backing.

“The PD gave good directions. He explained things like posture and eye lines in detail, and since there weren’t many lines, it wasn’t hard.”

While chattering about what happened on set, the car continued moving and soon entered a familiar road.

“Should I pick something up? Anything you want to eat?”

It was then that a department store building came into Eunsol’s view as he scanned the outside.

Maybe have a small party to celebrate the first shoot. For that, he should buy something.

More than anything, he wanted to repay Jaebeom, who had stayed home all day watching the twins instead of going to work while he was out.

Actually, with the helpers there full-time, he didn’t need to work from home. But they decided it was better for the babies’ emotional stability to have at least one dad around.

-No. I’d rather have Lee Eunsol come home quick.

The whiny cuteness made Eunsol laugh. Looks like no stop at the department store.

“Okay. Wait just a bit. About 15 minutes now.”

When he gave the exact arrival time, Jaebeom’s tone changed.

-Really? Okay. Then I need to put these troublemakers to sleep fast.

    “Huh? Why Beomwoo and Eunwoo?”

-Don’t even ask. Earlier during rolling practice, they kicked and ended up grabbing each other’s heads and fighting.

    “Ah! Fighting?”

Eunsol was shocked, since he’d seen them babble at each other but never physically collide.

-They cried and fussed for a while, then lay side by side drinking formula… Beomwoo!

Jaebeom, in the middle of describing the twins’ antics, suddenly yelled in surprise.

“Hyung? Jaebeom-hyung? What’s wrong? What happened?”

Eunsol called out, but since it was a call, he couldn’t see the situation, and no answer came back.

But from Jaebeom’s voice over the phone, he could roughly guess.

-You rascal, how can you roll over while drinking formula. You’re all wet now.

Although the tone was scolding, he could tell Jaebeom wasn’t angry. He was probably looking proud.

    “What a shame.”

It would have been nice to see it in person. He could check the home cam, but watching live was different fun.

-Sorry, Beomwoo made a mess, so I need to clean up and hang up.

“Yes. It’s fine. I’ll be there soon, see you then.”

    -Okay. Come safe.

Even though it was just 10 minutes away, the concern made Eunsol smile as he ended the call first. The helpers would clean up, but managing the twins was Jaebeom’s job.

Eunsol hesitated on whether to check the home cam but put it off. It would be more fun to watch with Jaebeom later and talk about it.

“The babies seem busy with rolling over these days.”

As they stopped at a traffic light, Bulgom spoke up.

“Yes. Beomwoo does it pretty well. Just now, he rolled over mid-formula and caused a commotion, apparently.”

    “That’s like young master Beomwoo.”

“Right? I wonder who he takes after to be so lively.”

As he said it, Eunsol rubbed his cheek in embarrassment. He actually knew. Beomwoo was like him. He looked more like him than Jaebeom, and his expression was similar.”

    “Isn’t it the CEO?”

Not knowing Eunsol’s thoughts, Bulgom stated his opinion. The certain tone implied it couldn’t be Eunsol’s influence.

That made him even more embarrassed, but soon the car started again, and he missed the chance to correct it.

The car stopped smoothly in the parking lot, and Eunsol got out. He brought his sleeve to his nose to sniff, and just in case, sprayed deodorizer once more.

He entered with Bulgom after parking, and the first thing he smelled was the sweet formula scent. With a pleasant smile, Eunsol crossed the living room with light steps.

He planned to ask Jaebeom first what mess Beomwoo had made.

    “You’re here?”

But his plan flew away at the sight before him. Jaebeom and the twins were welcoming him, wearing party hats.

A small banner fluttered: ‘Congrats on Successful First Shoot’.
