RACA 93
by LeviathanEven though Eunsol had returned safely to his arms, Jaebeom had never planned to let this matter be buried.
He carefully laid the exhausted Eunsol on the bed, dimmed the lights in the room, and then stepped outside.
Kwak Sang was already waiting in the living room.
“Speak.”
“We’ve caught Lee Daebak as well.”
While Jaebeom had gone to bring Eunsol back, his men had chased Lee Daebak. They caught him at the entrance of the forest. They had expected him to flee, but he had looked almost relieved, even tearing up.
He said he thought he had been stranded because one of his two communication devices had a shattered screen, and the other had been crushed under the car.
“So?”
Kwak Sang understood what Jaebeom wanted and answered.
“President Shin was the one who approached first.”
“How did he know who Lee Daebak was?”
“He must have met him by chance while visiting President Kim.”
Was Kim some kind of flytrap? Every worthless insect, from Lee Daebak to President Shin, somehow kept gathering around him.
Jaebeom rubbed the space between his brows with his thumb. As he did, he recalled how the original story had gone. In the original, President Shin also tried to take revenge on the Alpha protagonist.
He failed to repay the money he borrowed from the bank, so debt collectors came for him, and because of that, his business went bankrupt. He was divorced by his spouse and thrown into the streets, and that resentment drove him. In the end, the ally he chose was President Kim.
But there had been no story of Shin approaching Lee Daebak. They had acted separately and both had been eliminated by the protagonist.
“He said he found Lee Daebak abandoned on the road, and after realizing he was Eunsol-nim’s biological father, he planned this together.”
“I’ll have to apologize to Eunsol.”
Jaebeom had already known that President Kim and Lee Daebak were conspiring. He had felt relieved that the matter had ended without major incident, but it seemed that his early interference had disrupted the original flow and caused the current situation.
“Huh?”
“Never mind. Get rid of both of them. I don’t ever want to see them again.”
He didn’t care why they had plotted together. He already understood their motives, so there was nothing more to hear.
“You don’t want to meet them first?”
“No.”
He didn’t want Eunsol to spend their honeymoon unable to relax because of them.
‘Ah, I see now.’
Jaebeom finally realized why this had happened. It was because he had proposed to Eunsol.
Originally, the marriage episode appeared only near the end of the drama. But since the event had occurred before episode twenty, the story had changed drastically.
As Jaebeom stood with his arms crossed, lost in thought, Kwak Sang remained silent, waiting, thinking there would be another order.
But contrary to his assumption, Jaebeom focused only on how the altered story flow might affect them.
‘So it’s not about confessing or marrying. Then the condition for escaping this world must be the birth of the twins. If not that, is there another condition?’
He hadn’t told Eunsol yet, but Jaebeom believed that to solve this situation and return to reality, he needed to pass the test created by Eunsol’s grandmother. That was why he had rushed the marriage.
Honestly, Jaebeom didn’t care where he lived. Either world was fine with him.
He even preferred this one, where there were no meddlesome relatives watching him everywhere he went, to the other.
‘But what can I do? Lee Eunsol says he likes me as an actor.’
Even so, what changed Jaebeom’s mind in the end was his spouse. Since he was worried more about Jaebeom than himself, Jaebeom couldn’t just stay idle.
But since it was still an uncertain assumption, he hadn’t told him yet.
“…Jaebeom-ssi?”
Lost in thought, Jaebeom turned at the familiar voice. Eunsol came out of the room, rubbing his eyes.
“Why are you up already?”
It had been less than five minutes since he’d fallen asleep. Jaebeom gestured for Kwak Sang to leave.
“I felt lonely because you weren’t beside me. Can I sleep with you now?”
His tone unusually sounded childish. Jaebeom noticed the anxiety in his voice. He slowly exhaled.
No matter how bravely he had handled everything, the memory of being kidnapped and waking up in a remote place must have been traumatizing.
He should have realized that first. It was his mistake.
“Yeah, let’s do that.”
Jaebeom pulled Eunsol into his arms, feeling guilty. Eunsol’s slender arms wrapped around his waist. Then a sweet, fresh scent of pheromones filled his nose.
Jaebeom kissed Eunsol’s warm forehead. He stamped soft kisses on his brow bone and eyelids one after another, and when he tried to pull away, Eunsol lifted his chin and caught his mouth.
“Mm, mm, ah…”
Jaebeom’s soft skin rubbed against Eunsol’s lower lip. Then Eunsol let out a sweet breath as he felt the moist touch of Jaebeom’s tongue slide through his parted lips.
His arms tightened around him, and his eyelids trembled. The tongue rubbed against damp flesh, brushed along his palate and teeth.
“Ugh, haa…”
Eunsol’s eyelashes fluttered quickly as he clung to him. Jaebeom stroked the back of his small head, brushed his ear, and caressed his cheek even while kissing him.
“Shall we stop here?”
He spoke in a sweet voice. Yet Jaebeom still sucked once on his upper and lower lips and left traces with light kisses along his mouth.
Eunsol reproachfully looked at him without meaning to. His breath grew rough, and he felt his stomach heating up.
“Again?”
Even in the car earlier, Jaebeom had stopped the kiss. That time, it was fine, because they had been outside, but now they were inside the room. Just when things were about to move further, why was he doing this?
Jaebeom kissed corner of Eunsol’s eye and then drew back.
“I want to keep going too, but let’s sleep first.”
“Why?”
“You can’t even keep your eyes open.”
“Ah…”
Eunsol blinked and then realized how heavy his eyelids felt.
“Come on.”
The two entered the room. Jaebeom laid Eunsol down on the bed first and then positioned himself beside him. He slipped one long arm beneath him and set Eunsol’s slender neck over it to serve as a pillow.
Eunsol turned to face Jaebeom and burrowed into him again.
“Are we going to sleep like this?”
Jaebeom asked softly and kissed his forehead once more.
“Yes.”
Eunsol closed his eyes, feeling that warmth. He tried not to show it, but when he had woken earlier, the first thing he did had been to check where he was.
Whether it was a dark forest, Jaebeom’s house, or if everything had just been a dream.
What shook him in that instant was loneliness. He had already grown used to the warmth of the person beside him.
And he was afraid that all of it might turn out to be an illusion, especially because that person was Jaebeom.
“Sleep, sleep.”
“What is that?”
At the sound that was neither a lullaby nor a spell, Eunsol, who had his eyes closed, chuckled.
“Stop thinking and go to sleep.”
“How did you know?”
“I can feel your eyelids moving.”
How did he even know that? He really noticed everything.
When he had walked into the living room earlier with his heart trembling, he had felt immediate relief when he saw that familiar back.
Realizing that, Eunsol understood. He couldn’t go anywhere without Jaebeom anymore. Even if they really were trapped in the world of the drama, and even if they someday returned to reality.
“I panicked earlier when I didn’t see you.”
“Sorry.”
“I didn’t say it for you to apologize.”
Eunsol scolded him and Jaebeom kissed his brow bone this time and whispered that he understood.
“I wondered if maybe it had all been a dream. If we had never actually met at all. Thinking that made me anxious.”
“You were afraid I might not be beside you?”
“…Yes.”
Jaebeom instantly hugged Eunsol’s shoulders and. A wave of an alpha’s pheromones filled the air.
It wasn’t a scent meant to seduce him. It was meant to show that he really was by his side.
“That could never happen. I’ll always be by your side.”
Now, Jaebeom too couldn’t imagine a life without Eunsol.

Just letting you know this is a misplaced chapter 🙂↕️
Thank you! It’s fixed.
