“The important thing is how we split the groups efficiently……”

Lee Dohun, who was sitting with a sullen face, lifted his head when Ryu Sehyun just brought up the topic of teams.

“I don’t know about the rest, just don’t put that bastard with me.”

He pointed his finger at Sejun.

Sejun, who had been lost in thought alone at the talk of splitting groups, glared at Dohun pointing at him.

    That bastard?

“Do you think anyone wants to team with you? I’m the one refusing here.”

Sejun was furious and immediately retorted.

“Of course there are plenty of reasons why no one wants to work with you.”

    Dohun sneered to the fullest.

“I don’t like working with weak guys.”

    “Who is weak…”

“Not you? Honestly, I still find it strange that you’re classified as S-class in the system. You’ve got skills that would get crushed by most A-rank, and you call yourself S-rank.”

[He is not that bad though…….]

The system muttered like it felt sorry. Sejun’s face turned red.

Whether he was or wasn’t, that bastard Dohun always brought up Sejun’s lack of skill.

Among S-rank, except for Cha Dogyeong, everyone was considered more or less on the same level. But who was stronger was always a popular subject.

And whenever S-rank ranking came up, Seo Sejun was always last. Number one was always Cha Dogyeong.

Even when ordinary people ranked them jokingly it was the same, and when famous overseas analyst teams ranked them it was also the same.

The weakest S-rank, villain Seo Sejun.

That was almost as obvious as saying Cha Dogyeong was the strongest among S-rank.

“Sejun-ah, join where you belong. Because of you our country’s hunter level goes down.”

    “Lee Dohun, I said stop.”

“Let’s just leave that bastard out and make three teams of two. Instead of helping, he just runs wild alone and makes everything worse.”

    “Lee Dohun!”

Na Yookyung tried to stop him again, but Dohun, showing no thought of backing down, kept talking to Ryu Sehyun.

    Troublemaker, weakest, villain.

Sejun really had nothing to say against that, considering what he had done.

Even if it was because of the author’s trick, the fact that he always ran ahead alone and got treated like a power-level gauge was true, and the fact that he caused many accidents was true, and even though his summons and spirits were strong, because of Sejun’s lack of ability they could not do their proper role, that was also true.

But there was no need to ignore him that much. He had been quiet lately.

Sejun, who had been fuming and had no words to refute, muttered, then he suddenly thought of something and he spoke it without any filter.

“If the problem is that I’m weak, then I should team with Cha Dogyeong, right?”

He shouted, “Then the balance works out!” and the noisy conference room suddenly went quiet.

Everyone, even Yookyung who had tried to stop them, looked at Sejun like saying, ‘What the hell are you talking about?’

But Sejun thought for a second, ‘Oh, that’s not bad.’

Because of the crazy sub-mission tied to his hair’s safety, he had to meet Cha Dogyeong at least once every two weeks, and if they were officially grouped together, that would become a good excuse.

Sejun’s expression cleared like a sunny day. He even raised his hand high and argued enthusiastically.

“Me! I want to team with Cha Dogyeong!”

Of course, Cha Dogyeong’s face twisted at Sejun’s words, which never considered his opinion.

    “What bullshit?”

Those words came from Dohun’s mouth. He called Sejun’s claim bullshit without a trace of hesitation and spoke with annoyance.

“Everything that comes out of your mouth is supposed to be talk? Stop spewing bullshit.”

“You said I’m weak, right? I’m saying I’ll balance it out, what’s the problem?”

“Ah, fuck. You being weak is just you being weak. What does that have to do with Dogyeong?”

“Then who will do it with me? Will you?”

Of course, Sejun never meant to team with Dohun, but when he provoked him Dohun’s face crumpled like paper. His face showed absolute refusal.

Sejun felt the same, but Dohun turned to Sehyun like he had heard something unbearable.

“Just leave that bastard out, I told you.”

But Sejun knew well that with Ryu Sehyun’s personality, he would never accept Dohun’s claim.

No matter who the opponent was, even if he had to put Cha Dogyeong and Seo Sejun on the same scale, Sehyun’s attitude would not change much. He shook his head at Dohun’s words.

“Dohun-ah, I told you to stop that.”

    “Ha.”

    Dohun sighed.

That bastard, I’m the one who wants to sigh, why is he sighing? Sejun grumbled.

“I’m right though. I’m so weak you say you feel anxious, so for balance I should team with Cha Dogyeong, isn’t that right?”

Sejun looked at Cha Dogyeong with shining eyes like he wanted agreement.

Looking at the face that seemed to ask ‘Right?’, Cha Dogyeong sighed in disbelief. His handsome face twisted with irritation.

    “Are you crazy?”

The words from Cha Dogyeong’s mouth were not kind either.

What’s with that bastard’s way of talking? I’m older than him.

But Sejun forced himself to hold back the anger boiling inside him. He showed a gentle smile because he thought he had to become teammates with Cha Dogyeong, and he saw Cha Dogyeong’s frown deepen.

“Come on, no way I’m crazy. Honestly, when you run wild alone you destroy everything without caring about those around you. But if my summons or spirits are nearby instead of other people, then no one gets hurt. Right?”

Sejun’s claim sounded like nonsense, but it had a certain point.

Cha Dogyeong, maybe because he was too strong, did not like cooperating with others very much. He was the first to run forward, the first to destroy. That was Cha Dogyeong’s style, and so far there had been no opponent against whom it did not work.

Because of that, even if other hunters wanted to support him, it was difficult to do so. They had their hands full trying not to get caught up in it.

At least Lee Dohun, who specialized in physical reinforcement, could stay near him, since even if he was swept up the damage was relatively less. But he was not of much help in truth. Cha Dogyeong finished everything before he could even step up.

So Sejun argued that even if his summons were not sturdy, at least they would not get injured, and that would be better. But no one seemed to agree much.

“If you could actually handle those summons properly.”

    Dohun sneered.

Sejun pulled a sullen face. Everyone knew that Seo Sejun was a summoner, that his nickname was even Pet Hunter, famous as a hunter who controlled summons and spirits. But there was a fact even more famous than that nickname.

It was that he could not control his own summons properly.

That was the reason public opinion called him the weakest S-rank, a hunter who could not control even one of his own abilities.

In the early days of his awakening, the media had said things like, “If Seo Sejun learns to handle his summons properly, he will have a promising future as a hunter.” But now, whenever he caused incidents, they criticized him without mercy, saying he had no ability yet still acted rashly.

It was also one of the reasons why there were fan cafes for other S-rank hunters, even for some A-rank hunters, but none for Seo Sejun.

To be exact, among the S-rank hunters, he was the only one who had only an anti-community.

An anti is still a fan, so I do have fans.

Sejun forced himself to think positively.

    [Sejun-nim…….]

Hearing the system call his name with genuine pity only made him sadder.

“Sejun’s words are not completely wrong.”

Unexpectedly, Ryu Sehyun spoke on Sejun’s side.

“Just like before, we never know when something big might happen, and it is not enough to rely only on Dogyeong, since he is alone. I think it is necessary for you guys to practice coordinating with each other.”

No one objected to those words.

“I know you are all strong, but if you work together you can achieve what is impossible alone. Even if it feels like the current situation is over, dungeons are still unknown places, and there are too many things we don’t know. Let’s try as much as we can while we have the chance.”

When Sejun said it, it was nonsense, but when Ryu Sehyun said the same kind of thing, it had weight. That was the reality.

    “So then.”

Ryu Sehyun, after thinking for a moment, suggested a solution.

“Soon, whether by drawing lots or something else, I’ll take care of arranging the teams. Deciding once doesn’t mean it’s permanent. We’ll rotate now and then, so I hope no one complains too much no matter who they end up with.”

As he said that, he openly looked at both Dohun and Sejun.

“For a while, everyone will have to stay busy. I’m counting on you.”

Everyone nodded at his words. Even Cha Dogyeong and Seo Sejun.

He ended the meeting by saying the detailed schedule would be announced again.

“Shall we all eat together since it’s been a while?”

“Yeah, we gathered so let’s eat.”

Ryu Sehyun declined, saying he had work to do, but the other hunters gathered, saying they should eat together, and the atmosphere turned friendly.

Because they had gone through life and death together in the recent crises, even if they were not close personally, they were not awkward when together as a group. Except for Seo Sejun.
