Last time, the male god got jealous. To be honest, there was no real reason for it, but I still loved seeing it happen. Every time he gets jealous, I feel amazing. The longer it lasts, the better. But this time, it had been going on for three whole days, and he still would not speak to me.
I tried to talk to him. If he wanted to be jealous, that was fine, but could he at least let me explain? He would not listen. He did not just ignore me, he actually put down the bowl he had been washing, turned around, and walked away. I was left alone in the kitchen, water running loudly in the sink, surrounded by silence and feeling cold and abandoned. Without meaning to, I started humming, “Cold rain slaps against my face in a mess…”
All right, that gave away my age. Pretend I didn’t sing that.
Once I had finished cleaning the kitchen, I followed him to the bedroom. He had already started working, so I did not want to interrupt him. Still, the whole situation left me feeling restless and stuck somewhere in between annoyance and amusement. On one hand, I was frustrated. On the other, I felt a little smug. The male god cared about me this much. Not everyone could say that.
I tried walking back and forth at the doorway, occasionally letting out soft noises to get his attention. But he still made no move to acknowledge me. He really was acting like a little demon. If I did not do something about it, he would never fall back in line.
I stood there daydreaming for a while. My pants started to tighten, so I quickly pulled out my phone and played a game to calm myself down. Once I felt more composed but still had nothing to do, I decided to head to the bar to kill some time. Same place as usual, and the bill could go on the owner’s tab.
I left quietly, planning to pick up some marinated snacks for the male god on the way back. Later tonight, we could drink together, eat some snacks, and watch a movie. If things went well, the night might end in bed. By then, he would have forgotten all about his jealousy. Perfect.
The more I thought about it, the more excited I became. I rubbed my hands together. The weather had turned cold, and going out at this hour took real courage. But it also gave me the perfect chance to play the sweetheart card when I got back. I had already rehearsed my lines.
“Look at me, braving the cold just to go buy you something to eat. Am I not amazing? Are you still going to be jealous? My heart only has room for you. Who the hell are all those other people? If the mountains crumble and the heavens split—”
Yikes, maybe that was a bit much.
When I arrived at the bar, my friend was standing out front arguing with someone. That friend, known as the Overlord of Bar Street and affectionately nicknamed “Little Xunzi the Grass-Crusher,” was living up to his reputation.
Little Xunzi had never lost a fight in his life. Back in the day, he had gone bare. Well, not fully naked, just bare-armed, into a street brawl right on Bar Street. It was pure hand-to-hand combat, vicious and exhilarating. Every blow he threw went straight for the other guy’s lower half. That ruthless performance cemented his status as the area’s local tyrant. Even now, his old rivals still flinch and feel an involuntary chill between the legs whenever they see him.
But then I paused and thought again. Who would even dare argue with Little Xunzi these days? Had to be some clueless newbie.
As I got closer, I realized it was not a stranger at all. He was arguing with his boyfriend. I decided to just call that boyfriend Little Wild Wolf. He was almost ten years younger than Little Xunzi. And of course, Little Xunzi loved his fresh meat. Why else would he be called the Grass-Crusher?
I did not call him a little wolfdog because, frankly, he was not a dog. He was a wild wolf, plain and simple. You would not be able to tell just by looking at him. He was quiet and kept to himself most of the time, but his body was pure muscle. Rumor had it he was well-endowed, had stamina for days, and really knew how to wear someone out. The more innocent he looked, the wilder he got in bed. Little Xunzi had complained to me more than once, saying that whenever the guy got jealous, he would go completely silent and just fuck him until he could not get out of bed. And then he would ask, “Does it feel good?”
After hearing that, I tried doing the same thing once. The male god ignored me for a week.
That alone proved how exceptional Little Xunzi really was.
The two of them were a mess. They looked good on the surface, but their relationship was always teetering on the edge. I stood there watching for a bit until Little Xunzi noticed me. Hands on his hips and clearly fuming, he snapped, “You here to watch the show?”
I nodded. “Yeah. It’s a good one.”
Little Xunzi stormed off. Little Wild Wolf stayed put by the curb. I walked up and asked, “What happened this time?”
He gave a helpless smile and said, “There’s a training program at my company. They want to send me. It lasts two months.”
“Damn, what kind of training takes two whole months?”
He shook his head and only said, “I don’t want to go.”
As soon as I heard that, I understood. Little Xunzi had probably encouraged him to go. But the wild wolf was stubborn. Once he set his mind on something, it was hard to sway him. He had probably been dragging his feet and ended up pissing Little Xunzi off.
Even though this time I was definitely on Little Xunzi’s side, some things just could not be meddled in by outsiders. I patted his shoulder and headed into the bar first.
Little Xunzi was already at the counter drinking. His brow was furrowed so tightly it looked like he was in pain. I sat down beside him and said, “You two need to talk it out. What’s the point of fighting?”
“Talk it out? That guy acts like a good little boy, but he does not hear a single damn word I say. Fuck.”
Honestly, I kind of understood what was going on in the wild wolf’s head. It all came down to insecurity. He was probably scared that if he left for two months, he would come back to find his boyfriend had run off with someone else. And to be fair, that kind of thing really could happen with Little Xunzi.
I thought about it for a while. My own relationship was going great. The male god always listened to me. Whatever position I wanted, he would do. He was soft as a lamb on most days and never caused trouble like Little Xunzi did.
I could not help sharing a bit of relationship wisdom. “If you want him to understand you, the first thing you need to do is fix the gap between you two. He’s told you he likes you over and over again. Have you ever responded even once? You make him feel insecure. How is he supposed to trust you? How could he ever feel safe leaving your side?”
“I did tell him. I told him I liked his…” Little Xunzi took a sip of his drink and burst into laughter before finishing the sentence.
“You know exactly what the problem is. You little gremlin.” I pointed at him and grabbed a few snacks, popping them into my mouth. A nearby customer gave me a hard stare, and that was when I realized I had just reached into someone else’s dish.
“My bad,” I said with a smile, raising a hand in apology. Then I snapped my fingers. “This round’s on me.”
Little Xunzi gave a snort from beside me. “Keep it up, flirt. Let’s see what your male god does to you when he shows up.”
“What would he do?” I said. “I’m a total sweetheart. You think everyone’s as shameless as you?”
Little Xunzi said nothing and went back to sulking into his drink. Honestly, I found the whole thing a bit strange. He and the wild wolf actually got along really well. The wild wolf might be younger, but he was mature and thoughtful, always taking care of him. I could tell that Little Xunzi liked him. He just refused to say it out loud. What was his deal?
I leaned on his shoulder and said, “If you love someone, you’ve got to say it loud and clear. If you don’t speak up—”
Before I could finish, someone tapped my arm.
I turned and saw it was the guy sitting next to me. Now that he had come a little closer, I finally got a good look at him. He was pretty cute, wearing light makeup and a stud earring. He raised his glass and said with a smile, “Thanks for the drink.”
I grinned. “Why so polite?”
I picked up my glass and clinked it against his. Little Xunzi pulled my hand aside and muttered, “One of the guests over there wants to talk to me. Drink on your own.”
Just like that, my lecture was completely wasted. I clicked my tongue and watched as Little Xunzi’s figure disappeared into the crowd.
The man beside me leaned in and asked quietly, “Is he your boyfriend?”
I burst out laughing, lit a cigarette, and held it between my teeth as I squinted at him. “His type? I couldn’t handle him even if I tried.”
The man sitting beside me broke into a smile and shifted even closer. His arm brushed against mine, and there was a pleasant fragrance on him. It happened to be a brand I liked.
My nose twitched slightly. He reached for the box of matches on the table to light my cigarette, but I lifted my hand to stop him. No way. A good man always lights his own cigarette. I was not about to leave room for even the smallest hint of flirtation.
I took out my lighter and lit the cigarette myself. The man said, “My name is Xue Meng.”
I gave a noncommittal hum and had no intention of introducing myself. He added, “Did you come with someone tonight?”
I had come alone, so the answer was no. But with my looks, charm, and overall allure, did he really think I would not catch on to what he was trying? So I said, “Yeah. He’s not here yet.”
Xue Meng let out a soft sound and frowned a little. His eyes were bright and dewy. He glanced at me, then stayed quiet.
I ended up sitting there for nearly an hour. I figured it was getting late and Little Xunzi probably was not coming back, so I decided to head home.
Just as I got up, Xue Meng leaned over again. “Leaving already? The person you’re waiting for didn’t show up?”
I made a vague sound in response and ignored him, glancing down at my phone. The male god had not sent me any messages. Was he still working? Or was he still ignoring me? I felt utterly pitiful, wronged, and alone.
As I headed for the door, I noticed that Xue Meng was following me. He stumbled a little as he walked, clearly tipsy, and leaned against my arm.
“If no one’s keeping you company, I could,” he said. “Want to stay a little longer?”
I pushed him away, feeling like a paragon of righteousness and moral strength in that moment. “No need,” I said firmly.
Xue Meng was still holding his drink when he suddenly let out a small yelp and spilled the whole thing on my pants. He quickly apologized. “Sorry! Let me wipe it off.”
Before I could stop him, he grabbed me and started pulling me toward the bathroom.
We had just pushed open the door when strange noises drifted out from one of the stalls.
There was heavy breathing and soft grunts thudding against the partition. The moment I heard it, I knew who it was. Little Xunzi, that bastard.
Their room was just upstairs. Why the hell did they come down here to get kinky?
I shook my head and turned to leave, but to my surprise, Xue Meng had more strength than he looked. He tugged me through the door and shut it behind us, whispering, “Let me help you clean it up. Shh.”
He grabbed a few tissues and crouched down to wipe my pants. The motion, the angle, the whole setup, was so fucking suggestive it made my skin crawl.
The sounds from inside the stall did not stop. One sharp gasp echoed out, clear as day. Then came Little Xunzi’s raspy voice, shouting, “Faster! Harder!”
I swear to god—
I did not need a front-row seat to their live fucking session.
Another bang shook the stall door. Xue Meng’s face turned bright red. His fingers reached up and pulled down my zipper.
In that moment, every hair on my body stood on end. I shoved him away as fast as I could.
At that exact second, the bathroom door was kicked open.
The male god stood in the doorway, like a divine warrior descending from the heavens.
Inside the stall, the sharp slapping noises were still going strong. Little Xunzi sounded like he was about to launch himself straight into orbit. Meanwhile, the rest of the room fell into a dead silence.
Xue Meng was shoved up against the wall. I was clutching my zipper with one hand when the male god stepped inside with a stormy expression, face ashen with rage.
I immediately blurted out, “It’s not what it looks like. I didn’t do anything.”
“Oh? You didn’t do what? And who is he?”
“Xue Meng… no, I just met him!”
“You just met him, yet you already know his name? And you’re here in the bathroom with him…” The male god, usually so aloof and composed, now looked utterly heartbroken. His eyes were rimmed with red under the dim yellow lights, soft and sorrowful like he was about to cry.
His fists were clenched tightly. His lips trembled. His eyes, clear and bright, were filled with unshed tears that looked ready to spill with the slightest motion.
My heart seized up so hard it was hard to breathe. I forgot everything else and ran to him, zipping my pants up mid-stride and throwing my arms around him.
“I swear I didn’t do anything. I swear to you, I only love you. No one else.”
By now, Xue Meng had already slipped away in shame. From the stall, the slapping noises still had not stopped.
I could not take it anymore and shouted, “For fuck’s sake, can you two at least pick a better place?”
Little Xunzi shouted back between gasps, “You’re the one who barged in. Get out. Oh god—don’t stop. Right there. Harder—yes!”
I was stunned speechless.
So that’s what you call him in private? I really misjudged you, Grass-Crusher.
I shouted, “This is a public restroom, you asshole. You didn’t even hang up a sign saying it was occupied!”
Only the sounds of vigorous thrusting answered me.
I dragged the male god out with me. It was not until we made it out of the bar and onto the street that I finally managed to calm my racing heart.
“I didn’t do anything. You have to believe me.”
The male god looked up at me, eyes still red, pitiful like a wounded little animal. I held him in my arms and pressed a kiss to his cheek, sighing softly.
“I just went out for a drink. You weren’t talking to me, and I felt so lonely.”
He sniffled and, to my shock, started to cry.
I panicked. “Baby, sweetheart, I was wrong. From now on I’ll stay home and be good. I won’t go anywhere.”
He rested against my chest and looked up at me. “Really?”
His voice was thick with tears, soft and nasal, making my legs go weak. I immediately promised, “Really. If you tell me to go east, I won’t even glance west.”
I licked the corner of my lips and added, “It’s been three days since we did it. I kind of want…”
The male god shyly lowered his head, looking impossibly sweet and delicate. I tilted his chin up and kissed him. He actually got half hard just from that. I did not hesitate. I booked a room next door and pulled him inside.

Comment section—
“Is that the end?”
“How is that the end? Wait, is this a glitch?”
“Did the author accidentally hit publish before finishing?”
“I feel like the author got dragged away by Master Si and faceplanted into the keyboard.”
“I don’t care, I’m taking it personally. Master Si is definitely the male god! And the male god was written all soft and teary-eyed? Crying in the bathroom? That’s completely out of character! I’m reporting this for psychological damage!”
“Give me back Master Si’s personality! This character is so broken I can’t even look at it anymore!”
“Long live the Si-Jiang ship. I will not waver!”
“Seconded!”
“All Jiang-Si shippers, assemble. Let’s go shake things up!”
“Jiang-Si? Sounds like ‘zombie.’ Hahahahahaha—”
“A wave of haters is about to descend. Master Si’s die-hard fans are already on their way with knives.”
