ACBAM 82: Desire

The kiss Gu Weiyang longed for was, in the end, interrupted by the sound of his assistant knocking at the door.

Since it was work-related, even though Gu Weiyang was reluctant to part from Su Shijin and wanted to continue kissing him, he had no choice but to get up and attend to the work first.

“Wait,” Su Shijin quickly hooked his finger around his, avoiding Gu Weiyang’s gaze when he looked over, and whispered, “Your pants…”

Gu Weiyang looked down, his face instantly flushing as he covered up, “I’ll go behind the desk, he won’t see.”

Su Shijin nodded, released his hand, and got up. “Alright, then I’ll go to the lounge.”

Su Shijin felt that his lips were swollen from the kiss and he knew he definitely didn’t look presentable. Before the assistant came in, he turned and headed to the lounge behind the partition.

The lounge was styled somewhat like a bedroom, with a 1.5 by 2-meter bed in the center. Beside it, there was a wardrobe and a sofa.

The floor-to-ceiling windows revealed a breathtaking view, offering a sweeping, elevated look over most of the city.

Su Shijin sat down on the small sofa in the lounge, hearing Gu Weiyang tell the person outside to come in.

The partition between the lounge and the outside seemed to be soundproofed, and once the door was closed, Su Shijin couldn’t make out what they were saying.

After about ten minutes, he felt that it had quieted down outside, so he got up and cracked the door open slightly, preparing to take a look.

As soon as Su Shijin cracked the door open, the alpha outside yanked it wide, a bit surprised to see him standing there. He asked, “What are you doing standing here?”

Su Shijin released the door handle and asked, “Did that person leave?”

Gu Weiyang nodded. “It’s the assistant. I need to go downstairs for a bit, just a little work to take care of.”

The alpha’s expression was filled with apology. “Sorry, I promised there wouldn’t be any arrangements and we could go home earlier.”

Su Shijin was very understanding. “It’s fine. I don’t really have anything to do at home anyway, you go take care of work first.”

Yet the moment those words left his mouth, Gu Weiyang’s expression instantly turned aggrieved.

The large alpha squeezed through the door, lowering his head, looking at him with a hint of grievance, and said, “I do have something to do.”

Su Shijin took a small step back, confused. “What is it?”

Gu Weiyang’s gaze moved from his eyes downwards, eventually landing on his lips.

Everything was understood without words.

Clearly, the alpha, having tasted more, was very greedy. The one hour of kissing earlier hadn’t satisfied him; he still wanted more.

Su Shijin felt his lips dry under the intense gaze, afraid he might be pinned there for another half hour of kissing. He quickly pushed against him and said, “Alright, you go ahead and get back to work. I woke up early this morning, and I’m a bit tired. Is it alright if I nap here for a while?”

Gu Weiyang naturally had no objections, and in fact, he was quite happy that Su Shijin would be sleeping on his bed.

Just the thought of the faint scent of Su Shijin lingering on his bed made Gu Weiyang feel a surge of heat. As he had been discussing work with the assistant earlier, the usually composed and restrained Gu Xiaoren had somehow become stirred up again.

Gu Weiyang quickly shook his head to rid himself of those thoughts. There was still work to be done and he couldn’t let Gu Xiaoren’s influence get to him.

He silently recited a calming mantra to force himself to focus. After making sure Su Shijin was resting well in the room, he went downstairs to handle his work.

Su Shijin was indeed feeling a bit tired. After Gu Weiyang left, he took off his jacket and shoes and climbed into the bed.

The air conditioning in the lounge was set a bit too low, but wrapped in the blanket, it felt just right for sleeping.

Su Shijin rarely got a good rest in K City or F City, except for the last few days when he had video calls with Gu Weiyang. Those were the only times he had slept relatively well, but physically and mentally, he still felt somewhat exhausted.

Once in bed, Su Shijin could smell a faint trace of alcohol mixed with the alpha’s pheromones. It seemed that Mr. Gu had rested in this bed yesterday.

The pheromones left behind by the alpha soothed the glands on his neck and calmed his tired mind. Before long, Su Shijin drifted off to sleep.

Gu Weiyang returned about half an hour later. When he entered, he guessed that Su Shijin was likely already asleep, so he deliberately moved quietly.

Opening the door to the lounge, he found that, as expected, Su Shijin was sound asleep, wrapped in the blanket on the bed.

Dr. Su hadn’t drawn the curtains while sleeping, perhaps thinking the sunlight was too harsh. His face was nearly buried in the blanket, with only his soft hair peeking out, a little messy. Just looking at the strands of hair, Gu Weiyang thought he looked so obedient and soft.

Gu Weiyang didn’t disturb Su Shijin’s rest. He lingered at the door for a moment, quietly watching him, then gently closed it and went back to his desk to continue working.

The sooner he finished, the sooner he could go home with Dr. Su.

With that thought in mind, Gu Weiyang’s efficiency shot up to an astonishing level.

Around 6:30, Gu Weiyang finished his work and got up to wake Dr. Su, who was resting in the lounge.

If he kept sleeping any longer, he would probably have trouble sleeping at night.

When Su Shijin woke up, he was a bit dazed. As he poked his face out from under the blanket, he looked at the setting sun outside with a blank expression, feeling as though he had slept the entire day.

Gu Weiyang half-knelt on the bed, trying to control the upward curve of his lips. He looked down at the soft and sleepy Dr. Su and asked gently, “How did you sleep?”

Su Shijin rubbed his eyes, sat up on the bed, and his voice, still hoarse from just waking up, sounded low and dry. “What time is it?”

Gu Weiyang moved with his actions and sat down on the edge of the bed. “It’s 6:30. Are you hungry? Do you want to get up and have dinner?”

Su Shijin instinctively rubbed his stomach; he was indeed a bit hungry.

“I slept for a long time,” Su Shijin said. He had only planned to nap for a little while but ended up sleeping for almost two hours.

“It wasn’t that long. It’s just enough time to wash your face and wake up before dinner,” Gu Weiyang said, reaching out to tidy Su Shijin’s slightly disheveled hair. As his fingertips brushed past the back of Su Shijin’s ear, his gaze once again lingered on his lips.

The lounge door was already closed. Whether it was Tan Zhao or any other assistant, no one would come in without his permission, so this was a completely safe place.

The sudden shift in atmosphere snapped Su Shijin fully awake.

He noticed Gu Weiyang’s gaze falling on his lips once again and immediately knew what he was about to do.

As Gu Weiyang leaned slightly toward him, Su Shijin’s eyelashes fluttered a few times, and his gaze shifted away, but he didn’t reject it. In fact, he even felt his lips were a little dry and instinctively ran his tongue over them.

Gu Weiyang’s heart skipped a few beats. His hands didn’t dare to move freely, so he braced them on the bed. With Su Shijin’s silent permission, he lowered his head with a look of reverence and kissed his lips.

The alpha has a bit of a bad habit when it comes to kissing. He always likes to tease the omega’s tongue or gently bite and suck on the omega’s lips.

Su Shijin was being kissed so intensely that he could barely handle it, and his arms supporting him behind him were starting to feel weak.

“You… go easy…” Su Shijin’s breath was slightly uneven, his head slightly tilted back, struggling to make a sound, complaining about Gu Weiyang’s roughness while kissing.

As he spoke, Gu Weiyang’s body pressed further toward Su Shijin.

The poor omega had no strength to resist the alpha’s body pressing down on him. As his arm supporting him behind weakened, he fell back onto the bed, lying on his back.

Gu Weiyang then pulled him into his arms, his large hand gripping the back of his head, forcing him to lift his face, and kissed him even deeper.
