Chapter 66: Never Think of Them Again, Never Touch Them Again.

“Do you know why I’m looking for you?” Zong Shen’an asked, a cigar between his fingers, squinting as he looked me over.

During the years I was with the Zong family, Zong Shen’an rarely gave Zong Yanlei a second glance, let alone me. All the big and small matters in the family, including Zong Yanlei’s treatment and education, were always managed by Wuxi Li. He only cared about indulging in pleasure and doing everything he could to secure the greatest benefit for the Zong family and himself.

Therefore, I was also somewhat confused by his sudden summons.

“Is it about the young master?” I asked tentatively.

If it had anything to do with me, the only matter in this household would be concerning Zong Yanlei.

Zong Shen’an smiled upon hearing this. To be honest, he was quite good-looking, with no major flaws in his facial features or bone structure. Judging by appearance alone, it would be easy to mistake him for a gentle and refined businessman; but if you talked to him more deeply, you would find that he was nothing more than a ruthless viper in the business world with no bottom line, and had nothing to do with the word “gentle”.

    “No, it’s about you.”

    I was stunned: “Me?”

“Yanlei likes you.” Zong Shen’an dropped a bombshell without warning. “That kid is still too naive, too incapable of hiding his feelings. The way he looks at you is exactly the same way those women look at me. I’ve seen far too many of those over the years.”

“Sir, you must have misunderstood…” I subconsciously denied with a stiff smile.

“Don’t rush to deny it. Don’t worry, I won’t break you up.”

Zong Shen’an interrupted me, took a drag of his cigar, and slowly exhaled. The smoke dissipated in front of him, and he leaned back in his leather chair, his posture as relaxed as if he were discussing an insignificant business deal.

“Marriage is something that defies humanity. If it weren’t for the binding of interests, who would willingly enter into it? He may like you, and you can continue living with him, but remember to restrain yourself and don’t anger the princess. If she tells you to leave, you have to leave; if she tells you to kneel, you have to kneel. Understand?”

So that’s what he was trying to tell me.

Next month, once Zong Yanlei recovered from his illness, he would marry Princess Chu Luo. Being the Zong family’s lackey for so many years wasn’t enough; now he wanted me to be the princess’s lackey too.

I could stay. Just like Zong Shen’an said, I could continue to stay by Zong Yanlei’s side and live with him. Once he recovered, we might even develop a romantic affair, from a study companion to a bed servant, becoming a true male concubine.

    But then what?

The relationship between the one in need and the one who is needed is always mutually beneficial.

Zong Yanlei might like me now, like my devotion to him, like my companionship, like my meticulous care… but all of this stemed from his “illness and weakness”.

That was not true love, it was just possession and need, attachment and habit.

Once he recovered, he would see a wider world and be loved by more people. He would no longer wander aimlessly, nor suffer because of his fragile body. He had so much to try and explore. He would regain everything that was rightfully his.

Why should he stay for a small, lowly commoner?

“Do I have any other choice?” I finally asked Zong Shen’an.

Zong Shen’an raised an eyebrow, a hint of mockery on his face, as if he thought I was about to make some unreasonable request. But he didn’t immediately rebuke my audacity; he simply said, “Tell me, what are your plans?”

“I want to leave.” I said what was on my mind.

“Leave? You mean leave the Zong family, leave Yanlei?”

“Yes, I want to leave after the bone marrow extraction surgery. I will not interfere with the princess and young master’s marriage in the future.”

“Will that child let you go?”

I pursed my lips: “I’ll figure something out, sir.”

Zong Shen’an pondered for a moment, then took another deep drag on his cigar, the air around his nose becoming increasingly pungent.

“There are people like you sometimes, who want nothing but a peaceful life… Forget it, I never like to force others when it comes to relationships, and the child’s feelings are even less of my concern. Since you’re unwilling, I understand, but…” He curled his lips into a smile that suggested he was waiting for a good show, “Children take after whoever raises them. My wife has always had a terrible temper. If you want to leave, you’ll be in for a world of hurt.”

“Thank you for your advice.” I bowed to him. “I was ungrateful. Whatever treatment I receive from the young master is what I deserve.”

Zong Shen’an chuckled and waved his hand, signaling me to get out.

I turned and left the smoke-filled study. In the long, dark corridor, sunlight streamed in through a window on one side, falling on me. It was springtime, yet there was no warmth.

I had no reason to complain.

Zong Shen’an didn’t want to get rid of me. In fact, he was quite open-minded.

It was me who no longer wanted to stay in the Zong family, or by Zong Yanlei’s side.

From the moment I ceased to be “indispensable” to him, the mutually beneficial relationship we once shared came to an end. He no longer needed me, and I could no longer find any “value” in him.

And so, I returned to being that “dust” that no one needed. Zong Yanlei, having recovered his health, no longer needed to rely on me. He would eventually grow into a “giant” who could not see me, just like everyone else in this world.

    “Dong—”

The bell tolled again, as if falling from the ends of the earth, shattering the tranquil corridor before me in a single blow. Glass shards rained down, and in an instant, the world spun, the surrounding scenery twisted and distorted as if caught in a vortex. I shook my head, and the next second, the scene before me abruptly changed.

This time, I stood in Zong Yanlei’s bedroom. A transparent partition completely separated us, it was the penultimate day before his bone marrow transplant surgery.

“Come here.” He leaned weakly against the headboard, stretched out his hand to me, and gestured for me to lift the curtain and come to his side.

“I can’t go over there.” According to regulations, only medical staff are allowed to approach him.

“If you don’t come over, I’ll just walk over myself.” He was really willful; if he wanted something, he had to get it. After saying that, he made a move to throw off the covers and get out of bed.

The equipment started sounding an alarm. I quickly stopped him, gently placing my hand on the curtain: “Wait, I’m coming in! Wait a moment, I’ll be right in.”

I turned around and went outside, asking the nurse for a protective gown. After putting it on, I sprayed myself with disinfectant before entering the the partitioned area.

Zong Yanlei was connected to various instruments, with a breathing mask covering his mouth and nose and a nutrient injection in his hand, all working to sustain his precarious life.

He was terribly thin; apart from his still beautiful eyes, he was all skin and bones, and even his silver hair had lost its luster.

“You look like you’ve lost weight. Have you been eating properly lately?” He himself was incredibly thin, but the first thing he said to me was whether I hadn’t been eating properly.

“Actually, I haven’t lost weight, it’s just that I’m getting older and have less collagen in my face.” Fortunately, the isolation suit was loose, so he couldn’t see my figure. Due to the severe side effects of the medication, I did lose a lot of weight during that period.

“Aren’t you only nineteen, just like me?” He frowned and struggled to raise his hand. “Anyone who didn’t know better would think you were thirty-nine.”

I bent down to make it easier for him to reach me.

He touched my right eye through a thin layer of plastic.

    “Does it hurt?”

It had stopped hurting a long time ago, but for some reason, when he asked me that question and touched me, even though he didn’t directly touch my eye, I suddenly felt a piercing pain.

This immense, domineering pain, which devoured all other emotions and senses, instantly took over my mind, making it difficult for me to even speak or maintain a smile.

“It doesn’t hurt,” I replied softly.

“I asked the doctor, and they said your eyes… can be cured, as long as you get a new cornea…”

“No need.” As soon as I heard it was about my eyes, I refused without thinking. “I can use it with just one eye, there’s no need to waste money.”

“But I don’t like it.” He tapped the plastic cover with his fingertips. “It’s so ugly.”

“Then let’s wait until the young master recovers before discussing this further. Right now, your health is the most important thing.”

He didn’t reply immediately, as if he was chewing on my words before slowly spitting them out. Through the mask, I could only hear the faint, fragmented sounds of his breathing, as if they might stop at any moment.

“Once I’m better,” he suddenly said, his tone softer than before, “I want to go out and see the world. Where would you like to go?”

“I’m fine anywhere. Wherever you are, young master, I’ll be there.”

His eyes crinkled into a smile: “We can go somewhere…where nobody knows us. A place a million times better than here…”

The way he said it made it sound like he wanted to elope with me.

“Alright,” I readily agreed, smiling along with him, though deep down I knew that day would never come.

    “Dong—”

The bell rang again, and I was dragged directly away from the bed. The scenery rushed past me, flying through the streets and alleys of the Zong family mansion. When I came to my senses, I was already on an empty bridge.

Wei Nuan went to Baiyujing alone to find her boyfriend, but the Penglai man treated her like a joke. As soon as he found out she was pregnant, he blocked her. With nowhere to go in Baiyujing, she couldn’t think straight and climbed onto the bridge railing. Fortunately, she called me before she tried to kill herself.

The next day was the scheduled date for bone marrow extraction. Just in case, Wuxi Li even had bodyguards stand guard in front of my room, not allowing me to go out.

I had no choice but to jump out the window and climb over the wall to get out.

In the end, I found Wei Nuan on a bridge not far from the train station.

“Don’t be foolish. What will happen to your brother if you die? So many people want to live but can’t. It’s not worth it for you to be so desperate for a jerk like him.” I tried to persuade her earnestly. “If you don’t want the baby I’ll go with you to get the abortion, and I promise I won’t tell your brother. If you want it, I’ll help you persuade Wei Bao. If he hits you, I’ll stop him for you. There are two ways out, so get down first!”

“Waaaaah, Xiao Man-ge, you have to help me stop my brother, or he’ll really beat me to death…”

She cried her eyes out, and I finally managed to calm her down.

I glanced at the time; there was still time. So I decided to take her home first and then rush back to the Zong family. But as soon as we got off the train, before we even left the platform, we were surrounded by a swarm of bodyguards.

The bodyguards roughly grabbed my arms behind my back and shoved me to the ground. My cheek stung as it rubbed against the floor. Meanwhile, Wei Nuan cried and tried to help me, but the bodyguards coldly pushed her away.

“Don’t touch her!” I struggled to sit up. “She’s pregnant, don’t touch her!”

Upon hearing this, the bodyguards exchanged glances and indeed softened their movements.

Back in Baiyujing, the sky was already turning a pale white, and the dim light rose along the eaves. The Zong family mansion was still dark everywhere, except for Zong Yanlei’s bedroom, which was brightly lit.

As soon as the bodyguards entered the Zong family compound, they separated Wei Nuan from me. I was taken to see Zong Yanlei, while Wei Nuan disappeared.

The bodyguard forced me to kneel at the foot of Zong Yanlei’s bed, a dull pain shooting through my body as my knees hit the ground. Through the distorted curtain, I couldn’t see him, only hear the rhythmic, cold hum of the medical equipment.

    “They said you ran away?”

For a fleeting moment, I felt that I was still hearing the lifeless sound of machinery.

I reflexively tried to explain myself, “This is a misunderstanding, young master. If I wanted to escape, why would I need to escape now? I was just going out to see a friend…”

“Friend?” Zong Yanlei’s voice was as cold as snow, weak and devoid of warmth. “That pregnant woman?”

“Her name is Wei Nuan. I’ve mentioned her to you before. She lives next door to me…”

“Is she that important?” he abruptly interrupted me. “More important than me? That you’d climb over the wall in the middle of the night to see her? What, is her child yours?”

He’s always been like this; he hates it when I pay more attention to other things than to him.

That was just something he said in anger, and I should have denied it, but I hesitated.

Originally, I wanted to find an opportunity after he recovered to make him despise and drive me away, but perhaps now was that “opportunity.” That was a “knife” sent by heaven, drawing the final chapter between us.

    “Jiang Man?”

    “Yes.”

    Our two voices almost overlapped.

The only sound in the room was the hum of the machine, as if even the air had been sucked away by that “Yes.” For a long time, Zong Yanlei remained silent.

After perhaps two or three minutes, he slowly spoke: “‘Yes’… what does that mean?”

“Her child is mine,” I said calmly.

Another long silence followed. He seemed to have been completely thrown off balance by this sudden development. His first reaction was not anger, but confusion.

“Ah, you like women…” His voice trailed off, transforming from snow into a wisp of cold smoke blowing in the winter morning, “Yes, of course men should like women… of course you should like women…”

That word “should” kept circling in his mouth. After repeating it for a while, he suddenly asked, “What are you planning to do?”

I thought about it and told him that I planned to take on the responsibilities of a husband and take good care of Wei Nuan and our unborn child.

“Then I…” He paused abruptly, forcing himself to change his words, “Then…then are you going to marry her?”

    “Yes, I will marry her.”

“Then…” He hesitated for a long time before saying, “Will you stay here? Stay by my side?”

“I hope you can set me free.” The moment I said it, I felt a sense of relief. “You don’t need me anymore, so it doesn’t really matter whether I stay or not. I’ve saved some money, and I want to go back to Zengcheng and live with Wei Nuan, and build our little home.”

“Your…little home?” He sneered, finally regaining his anger, his voice trembling. “But you promised me you’d always be there. Yesterday you said… once I recovered, we’d leave this place together. Was all of that… just a lie?”

“I am your servant, the lowest of the low among the common people of Penglai. How dare I contradict you…”

He interrupted again: “I’ll give that woman a large sum of money, you don’t need to take care of her. She’ll be fine, plenty of men would want to marry her, you don’t need to leave…”

“Even without her, I still want to leave.” I completely blocked all paths, stating my final decision.

He seemed to be struggling to breathe, taking short, shallow breaths before finally asking, “…Why?”

“Because…” I heard my own hollow voice say, “I’m fed up with being your blood bag, fed up with you treating me like an object and controlling me at will, and fed up with serving you and satisfying your disgusting demands. If you were to die, I would be free, but you insisted on getting cured. The thought of having to live like this for the rest of my life makes me want to run away.”

“So, you really did run away?”

    “Yes.”

“If you stay, I can forgive and forget. I’ll ask you one more time, do you want to stay or leave?”

    “Leave.”

    “For that woman?”

“It has nothing to do with anyone.” I tried hard to see him clearly, but I couldn’t see through the distorted curtain no matter what I did. “Even without her, I would have run away. I flattered you before only because I had my grandmother to take care of. Now that my grandmother is gone, I don’t need to fawn over you or compromise myself anymore…”

Before I could finish speaking, the medical equipment beside the bed was swept to the ground by the enraged Zong Yanlei. Something flew towards me, barely blocked by the curtain. Inside the ward, the buzzing of various instruments rose and fell. He was hunched over the bedside, thick liquid overflowing from the edge of the breathing mask, dripping onto the floor with a chilling sound.

Medical staff rushed in, creating a draft, and the transparent curtain swayed, allowing me to see what was happening inside.

To isolate bacteria and viruses as much as possible, the carpet was removed, and the floor was relaid with white tiles. Bright red liquid flowed across the white tiles; the clash between the cold white and the crimson stung my right eye.

My knees buckled as I tried to move forward. Suddenly, I met Zong Yanlei’s hateful eyes through the medical staff. I froze, as if my body had turned to rock, my mind went blank, and I couldn’t even take a step.

    He hates me.

Of course I thought about the consequences of leaving, and of course I thought he would hate me. But at nineteen, I took everything for granted, and even his hatred was only a superficial, theoretical concept.

I laughed at Chu Luo’s and Zong Yanlei’s naiveté, but wasn’t I also naive to the point of arrogance?

I was so arrogant that I thought I could accept and digest Zong Yanlei’s hatred at nineteen as easily as I digested his loathing at ten.

“Bring me the whip…bring me…” Zong Yanlei pushed aside the medical staff surrounding him, his blue-green eyes completely consumed by hatred, driven mad by betrayal. “Beat him, beat him until he changes his mind…”

As he spoke, he couldn’t help but cough up another mouthful of blood.

“Without my permission… no one… no one is allowed to let him go…”

“Get him away from here! Stop agitating the patient!” the doctor yelled at the bodyguards inside the room.

The bodyguard immediately grabbed my arm and led me out of the house.

I was locked in a storage room in the basement. The walls were damp and cold, and the air was thick with the smell of mold and dust. During this time, Butler Li, came to see me and asked me three questions:

“Are you sure you want to leave?”

“How much do you want? We can discuss it.”

“Do you have to make such a scene? Fine, let’s see if you’re just being stubborn.”

Seeing that he couldn’t persuade me no matter what he did, he snorted coldly, summoned two servants, and led me to the edge of the mansion, to the “punishment ground” near the woods.

Having learned from my previous experience, I didn’t need them to tell me before I wrapped my arms around the huge tree stump. The bark was rough, and the moment I touched it, a chill ran down my spine.

The rope was tied around one wrist, wrapped around the tree stump, and then tied around the other wrist. Finally, it was pulled tightly, and a tearing pain came from the shoulder joints of both arms.

I groaned and slammed my forehead against the tree stump’s growth rings; the wood’s texture made my forehead tingle.

“Just say so if you change your mind.”

Butler Li personally supervised the punishment. No sooner had he finished speaking than a heavy whip lashed my back.

It was spring, and I was only wearing a thin shirt issued to servants. One lash was bearable. But gradually, the pain intensified, my skin tore open, and my back burned. What was even more unbearable was the fabric, which clung to the wounds after being soaked with sweat; every breath, every breeze passing by my back, became torture.

“Do you still want to leave?”

I couldn’t remember how many lashes I received, but I was covered in cold sweat, my vision was blurring, and my ears were ringing as if a swarm of insects were fluttering in my brain. Butler Li’s voice rang out again.

“I want to leave,” I replied weakly.

“You brat…” Butler Li was speechless for a moment, then paused and said angrily, “Beat him!”

The whips fell like rain, and the pain shot through my entire body like lightning. In the end, I didn’t even have time to feel the pain; I just felt my body suddenly lighten, all sounds were pushed far away, and I passed out.

When I woke up again, I found myself lying on my side on a small bed, with a faint smell of disinfectant in the air.

My body was wrapped in thick bandages, and my wounds seemed to have been treated. I didn’t know if it was because of injections or medicine, but my whole body felt weak and I couldn’t muster any strength. Even the intense pain I had felt before seemed to be separated by a layer of something, becoming less vivid.

Suddenly, I felt a stabbing sensation in my lower back, but strangely, I didn’t feel any pain. Instead, I felt a deep, hollowing-out chill slowly spreading through my body.

“Don’t move, keep this position, the bone marrow collection will be done soon.”

A voice came from behind me that sounded somewhat familiar, yet not quite. I turned around and saw a middle-aged doctor wearing a mask and a white coat. Judging from his eyes, he was probably Zong Yanlei’s attending physician.

“Young…” My voice startled even myself as soon as it came out; it was so hoarse, as if my vocal cords were being rubbed against the roughest sandpaper. “Is Young Master alright?”

The doctor didn’t speak for a while, and I thought he wouldn’t pay attention to me anymore. But after the injection, he said, “He was given a sedative, and he’s fine now.” He said irritably, “You really shouldn’t have provoked him like that.”

I felt relieved and closed my eyes again.

    “It was my fault……”

He was simply enraged because he’d never been fooled by someone as lowly as me before. I thought he’d forget me soon enough once he recovered. That was my opinion at the time.

When I woke up again, I was back in that cramped and small storage room.

That night, I started to have a fever. I would feel chills and fever in turn, and it felt like my bones were being taken apart and put back together.

I curled up on a tattered mattress and stayed there for three days. Every day, someone brought me food and water, and would still ask, “Have you changed your mind?”

I just shook my head each time.

On the third day, the fever subsided, and Butler Li reappeared. This time, he brought a stack of papers and two gold bars.

“This is an agreement. Once you sign it, these two gold bars are yours, and your little lover can come with you too.” He casually threw the gold bars in front of me.

“What… is this agreement?” I took the agreement and pen, and saw that the important contents were covered up with black paper.

“You don’t need to worry about that.” Butler Li pointed to the place where a signature was required with his white-gloved fingers. “Just sign it.”

I had no other choice but to lie down on the ground and sign my name.

Butler Li left with the stack of papers, satisfied. Not long after, Wei Nuan rushed in, crying.

“Xiao Man-ge, waaaaah, they finally let me see you… Oh my god, how could they beat you up like this?” She used her frail body to lift me up from the ground, crying so hard she could barely breathe. “Don’t be afraid, I’ll take you away from here right away… Waaaaah, let’s go home, we’ll never go back to this awful place again!”

I laboriously followed her step by step out of the Zong residence, out of the place where I had lived for nine years. We left through the small gate, and the wind blowing against my face made me realize that I was still alive.

The moment I stepped out, I turned back to take one last look at the majestic mansion behind me, only to see the black iron gate slowly closing in front of me, completely shutting me out.

Wei Bao’s car was waiting outside. As soon as he saw us come out, he couldn’t wait to get out and help me.

“This nobleman is a real scoundrel. How could he treat people like this?” he said, frowning, as he helped me into the truck.

“I deserve it.” I lay in the car, my voice barely audible, so Wei Bao didn’t hear me.

    Yes, I deserve it.

I broke my oath, so I deserved to be torn apart and bleed. The only surprise was that I was still alive.

Compared to Wuxi Chen, who treated human life as worthless, Zong Yanlei, a true aristocrat in the traditional sense, was still too soft-hearted.

The injuries on my back were just superficial, and they healed almost completely in a month. But even after I recovered and could move around freely, I never left the room.

Wei Bao and his sister would usually bring me food, and they would take away the empty plates after I finished eating. I tried to give them money, but they refused to accept it, and Wei Bao even scolded me for it.

Inside the house, besides sleeping, eating, and using the toilet, I only do one thing: daydream.

At first, I would wash my face, brush my teeth, and shave every day… but every time I looked in the mirror, the white patch on my right eye was like a mark that could never be wiped away, reminding me that someone had once touched it with his fingertip through a thin plastic cover and asked me if it hurt; it also reminded me of how softly he said “It’s so ugly.” I said that one eye was enough and there was no need to waste money, but deep down I knew better—I didn’t want it to get better.

Every time I look in the mirror, I think of Zong Yanlei’s eyes, and that a part of me is forever inside his body.

    However, I overlooked one thing.

I miscalculated; I remembered the look of hatred in his eyes so vividly that I could recall it clearly every time I looked in the mirror.

So I simply stopped washing my face and tidying myself up, and just stared blankly at the ceiling. I became a complete waste, a piece of trash that no one needed anymore.

When Ye Shuer first came to my house, he almost fainted when he saw me, who reeked of a foul odor.

“Ge, I’ve finally found you…” He was crying, he wanted to hug me but didn’t know where to start. In the end, he could only hold my hand, which looked relatively clean, and shake it vigorously.

After that, he often came to see me. Whether I paid attention to him or not, he would talk incessantly. I didn’t know if it was because he didn’t have many friends, but he seemed to have endless things to say, sometimes he could talk all day long.

Gradually, in addition to his studies, projects, and research, he would also talk about the organization he founded called “Free Will”.

“At first, I just wanted to create a place where everyone could learn on an equal footing, but Yu Xuan said that as long as the people of Penglai are in power, the people of Wo will always be inferior to others…”

“Ge, I want to complete what Father… not our biological father, but my adoptive father, did not finish. I want to rebel against the royal family! I want to rebel against the nobles! I want to make Penglai a country where everyone is equal!”

“Ge, managing an organization is so difficult, even more difficult than conducting an experiment…”

“I think we need to gradually create public opinion and publicize all the bad things done by the powerful and wealthy in Penglai so that everyone knows! But how exactly should we do that? And where should we start?”

“What do you think of academic fraud? The university I went to had a lot of academic fraud among the elite…”

I closed my eyes briefly and couldn’t help but say, “You could build an information center.”

“Oh dear, those Penglai nobles are really stupid, they don’t even know calculus…” Ye Shuer suddenly turned around and stared at me blankly, “Ge, what… what did you just say?”

“Penglai is a semi-theocratic state, ruled jointly by the Holy Church and the Crown. Simply opposing the royal family won’t work.” I slowly said, my chapped lips parting slightly. “To overthrow this country, you must first… make the people lose trust in the Holy Church and the Crown, question them, and deeply resent them…”

Ye Shuer was stunned for a moment, then excitedly slid down to his knees in front of me, grabbed my arm, and shook it vigorously: “I knew it, I knew it! You’re my brother, how could you just be a slovenly good-for-nothing?! Ge, come help me, come help this country, help the people of Wo!!”

He looked at me, and as he finished speaking, his emotions gradually calmed down, but the light in his eyes still shone: “Those suffering people need us, they need you…” he pleaded, “No matter what you’ve been through, please pull yourself together, please… save them!”

My eyes flickered: “You need… me?”

“Yes!” Ye Shuer nodded vigorously, “We need you so much!”

His words seemed to rekindle a tiny spark in the long-dormant ashes in my heart.

Moreover, I really needed something to distract me.

    “…Okay, I’ll help you.”

From that day on, I found a new, unbreakable, mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship of need and being needed.

I became busy, working at Xiang Ze’s seedling nursery during the day and giving advice to Ye Shuer at night.

Wei Nuan had stuffed the two gold bars into her pocket and took them out of the Zong family compound. She believed that they were severance pay, medical expenses, and something the Zong family owed me.

I bought a combination lock box, locked them inside, and hid them in the deepest part of the closet. Just like the three characters “Zong Yanlei,” I will never think of them again, never touch them again.
