Although they had already determined that the people in front of them were Wen Chi and Jiang Siheng, when the man himself said he was Wen Chi, the feeling of joy was different.

“Ahhh, I knew it!” The girl’s expression was filled with excitement. “S–so can we take a photo with you?”

The girl’s friend looked around, and pointed to the vending machine near the corner, “Should we go there to take the photo? It’s less crowded.”

Wen Chi smiled and said, “Anything’s fine.”

The girl took out her phone and opened the camera, then handed the phone to Jiang Siheng, “Jiang Ge, sorry to trouble you.”

Jiang Siheng, who thought he would be in the group photo as well, said, “…Alright.”

The girl and her friend stood on either side of Wen Chi, and the three of them happily gave a peace sign to the camera.

“Thank you Xiao Chi, thank you Jiang Ge!”

Wen Chi put his mask and hat back on, and waved at the two girls, “Let’s go, bye-bye.”

    “Bye-bye!”

The girl lowered her head to look at the photo they just took, then raised her head with a sigh to look at Wen Chi and Jiang Siheng, who had already walked far away, only to see this scene.

Wen Chi had just slightly raised his hand, when Jiang Siheng immediately reached out and held his hand. Their movements were always natural, as if it had already become a habit in their interaction.

Jiang Siheng squeezed the palm of Wen Chi’s hand. “Are you hungry? Do you want to go eat?”

Wen Chi asked him, “What time is your flight tonight?”

    “Ten o’clock.”

There was still plenty of time, Wen Chi glanced at the time, and after watching the movie, it was only five o’clock, so it was a bit early for dinner, “Shall we go walk around some more?” He casually turned his head and saw the floor shopping directory next to the elevator, “Let’s go, let’s go, we’ll go buy some clothes.”

Recently, the temperature has risen. Wen Chi didn’t have many short-sleeve shirts or shorts at home. He kept wearing the same few white t-shirts and black shorts, and there weren’t many clothes to begin with. A few items were still at Jiang Siheng’s place, which meant his clothes at home were getting fewer and fewer.

A customer entered, and the shop assistant immediately greeted them, “Welcome!”

Wen Chi immediately spotted a white t-shirt, with an adorable embroidery of an egg holding a fork and knife, pointing at a tomato, on the chest. The back of the shirt had a similar design but with a different pattern.

“Jiang…” Wen Chi paused for a moment, and glanced at the smiling shop assistant standing aside, then changed his words, “A-Heng, why don’t you try this one on?”

    A-Heng.

This was the first time Wen Chi called him that in front of Jiang Siheng.

Jiang Siheng said nothing and lowered his gaze to look at the young man in front of him. Wen Chi felt a little uneasy under his gaze, his scalp tingling.

Then, he saw Jiang Siheng smile, take the clothes, and casually pat Wen Chi’s head. “From now on, call me that.”

    Wen Chi: “…”

Luckily, he was wearing a mask, otherwise, if Jiang Siheng saw him blush because of those words, he would definitely tease him again.

Wen Chi gently pushed Jiang Siheng, and quietly muttered, “Let’s go, let’s go.”

The fitting room was very spacious, and the only customers in the store were the two of them.

Wen Chi and Jiang Siheng each had their own fitting room. Wen Chi listened to the sound of clothes being changed coming from the next fitting room, and then it stopped. He spoke up, “Teacher Jiang, are you done changing?”

The person in the next room didn’t say anything.

Wen Chi called out again, “Teacher Jiang?”

    There was still no response.

Wen Chi thought for a moment, and tentatively spoke again, “A-Heng?”

The next second, a response filled with a faint smile came from next door, “Mmm.”

“……” The corner of Wen Chi’s mouth twitched. How childish!

The two of them almost walked out at the same time, and there was a full-length mirror on the right. Wen Chi walked to the front, looked at himself in the mirror from side to side, and thought it looked pretty good.

Another person appeared in the full-length mirror. Wen Chi looked at Jiang Siheng in the mirror, giving a slight smile, “Teacher Jiang, how does it look?”

Jiang Siheng didn’t look at himself. His gaze remained on Wen Chi, and when he heard the question, he said, “Looks good.”

“I also think you look good in it.”

Jiang Siheng’s usual clothes lean towards mature and stable styles. Yet now, wearing this short-sleeve shirt, he appeared a bit more youthful, looking like a college student—completely not giving the impression that he was already 27 or 28 years old.

Wen Chi once again pulled Jiang Siheng to look at other styles of clothes and pants. At first, Wen Chi still wanted to buy a few clothes for himself, but by the end, he kept picking clothes for Jiang Siheng, and didn’t pick many for himself.

While Wen Chi was talking to the shop assistant, Jiang Siheng walked to the other side, picked up a pair of denim overalls, and walked back.

Wen Chi had just turned around when a pair of pants was stuffed into his arms, “What’s this?”

Jiang Siheng raised his chin, “Go try it on.”

    “Me?”

    “Mm.”

Wen Chi went to try on the clothes.

The shop assistant returned to the cash register and said to the colleague who had been looking over there, “Hey, they are…”

“I know,” the colleague whispered, “It’s Jiang Siheng and Wen Chi, right?”

    “Huh? How do you know?”

“I saw Jiang Siheng’s face directly. Originally, I wasn’t sure about that guy, but just now, I accidentally heard Jiang Siheng call him ‘Xiao Chi.’ Who else could it be, if not Wen Chi?”

The shop assistant nodded. “When I first saw Jiang Siheng’s face directly, I was afraid I had recognized the wrong person, but then I heard Wen Chi say ‘Jiang,’ and I knew I hadn’t made a mistake.”

The colleague said, “I didn’t expect that those two are really together, but they’re pretty bold, aren’t they worried about being recognized and having their photos posted online?”

    “Who knows?”

Wen Chi walked out after changing into the pants and looked down to adjust the two straps. He rarely wore overalls, so he was a little unaccustomed to it for a moment.

“Is it okay?” Wen Chi had already taken off his hat and mask, spread his arms, and spun around in front of Jiang Siheng.

Under the sufficiently bright light in the store, the young man’s skin appeared even fairer. The pure white t-shirt paired with the denim overalls with a small bear embroidery pattern in the center, chosen by Jiang Siheng, looked particularly cute and attractive.

“Looks good.” Jiang Siheng couldn’t help but reach up and rub Wen Chi’s hair, his palm feeling the smooth, cool strands of hair. “You’re getting these pants too, right?”

The latter sentence was directed at the shop assistant.

The shop assistant watched the affectionate gesture between the two, and, without changing her expression, maintained a smile, “Okay.”

They entered the store empty-handed, but came out with several bags in their hands.

It was almost six o’clock. They placed the shopping bags in the back seat, and Wen Chi sat in the front passenger seat, “Where should we eat?”

Jiang Siheng: “There’s a restaurant that serves great Cantonese food, how about we go try it?”

    “Sounds good.”

There was parking right outside the Cantonese restaurant. After parking the car, Jiang Siheng took his hand and led him into the restaurant.

And not far from the Cantonese restaurant, in the greenery, two paparazzi looked at each other.

Paparazzo A: “Those two… could they be Wen Chi and Film Emperor Jiang?”

Paparazzo B: “They kind of look like, holy crap, they’re holding hands!”

Paparazzo A quickly raised his camera and zoomed in, snapping several pictures, excitedly saying, “Wow, I was originally trying to catch a certain singer with his girlfriend, but I didn’t expect to catch Film Emperor Jiang and Wen Chi, now we won’t have to worry about not having hot topics.”

Compared to Paparazzo A, Paparazzo B was a bit more worried, “Hey, Film Emperor Jiang’s background seems pretty complicated, and don’t you remember how many well-known business groups spoke up for Wen Chi online after that incident. If we expose their relationship, our company will be in trouble sooner or later.”

Being reminded by his colleague, Paparazzo A’s previously excited mood instantly disappeared. He was right, this matter couldn’t just be handled rashly.

“Forget it, let’s just take the photos first.”

As for whether to post it online, he’ll ask the editor’s opinion.

Wen Chi had no idea that he and Jiang Siheng had been photographed by the paparazzi. Because of the hot weather, Wen Chi didn’t put his mask back on after leaving the clothing store. When he arrived at the small two-person private room in the venue, he immediately took off his hat, his forehead hair slightly dampened with sweat.

After ordering the food, Wen Chi lifted the curtain and glanced outside. Although it was called a two-person private room, it was really just a space separated by two curtains, and their current seating was still in the main hall.

The phone rang. Wen Chi glanced at the screen, and immediately picked up, “Mom.”

Jiang Siheng put down the phone.

“Mm, eating out with Jiang Siheng. He came to Nanhui City for work as well, and will head back to the set later.” Wen Chi suddenly glanced at Jiang Siheng, with a clear smile in his eyes, “Okay, I’ll tell him. Bye-bye.”

Jiang Siheng saw Wen Chi hang up the phone, and asked, “What did Auntie need?”

“No, she just asked if I finished work and if I had eaten.” Wen Chi took a sip of tea, and then looked at Jiang Siheng, “She also asked me to tell you not to overwork and to take care of yourself.”

Jiang Siheng’s fingers resting on the table slightly curled, and he quietly said, “Okay.”

Wen Chi propped his chin and tilted his head, looking at him, “What’s wrong?” Why does it seem like his boyfriend’s mood isn’t great?

“It’s nothing.” Jiang Siheng chuckled lightly, “I was just thinking about when I’ll have some free time later.”

    “Hm? Are you going somewhere?”

“I told you before that I wanted to visit your home, and formally meet your parents.” Jiang Siheng said this while opening his phone’s calendar, checking when he and Wen Chi would both be free next.

Wen Chi blinked and then remembered.

“I’ll ask Jin Ge about my upcoming work schedule later, and I’ll send you an itinerary then.”

Jiang Siheng looked at Wen Chi and smiled, “You’re so obedient.”

Wen Chi gave him a side glance, and muttered, “When have I ever not been obedient.”

The sky outside had darkened, and the streets at night were even livelier and noisier than during the day. After dinner, around seven o’clock, Wen Chi accompanied Jiang Siheng back to the hotel to pack his luggage, they stayed for a while, and when they came out again, both were wearing masks and hats, leaving the hotel side by side.

Xiao Pang was driving in the front, and to make it easier to pick Wen Chi up later, Sangsang and Xiaocheng also came along.

Xiaocheng froze for a moment when he saw Jiang Siheng, and after Sangsang reminded him, he greeted Jiang Siheng, “Hello, Teacher Jiang.”

    Jiang Siheng nodded.

Wen Chi yawned after sitting in the car. Jiang Siheng saw this and suggested he rest for a while, but Wen Chi shook his head, then lowered his head, unlocked his phone, and opened WeChat.

He hadn’t left the group chat for the drama crew yet because there might be promotional events for the drama he needs to attend later. But after leaving the crew, he had set the group chat messages to “Do Not Disturb.”

Sangsang turned her head. “Xiao Chi Ge, are we going back to Linquan City or somewhere else tomorrow?”

Wen Chi didn’t even raise his head, “Let’s go straight back to Linquan City.”

“Okay.” Sangsang turned back and ordered the plane tickets.

After sending Jiang Siheng to the airport, Wen Chi didn’t get out of the car. He sat in the car watching Xiao Pang bring out two suitcases.

Jiang Siheng bent down and leaned into the back seat, and raised his hand to touch Wen Chi’s cheek, “I’m leaving.”

Wen Chi’s eyes curved into a smile, “Okay, safe travels.”

Jiang Siheng gave a soft smile, pulled the suitcase’s handle, then turned and walked into the airport.

Wen Chi kept watching the man’s silhouette.

Xiaocheng waited for a moment before speaking, “Teacher Wen, shall we go?”

They can’t stay too long at the airport entrance. Wen Chi pressed the car window button, and the window slowly rolled up, “Let’s go.”

At night, some people either stay home resting and playing games, or go out with family and friends for dinner or shopping. By the end of the day, only the nighttime truly belongs to themselves.

Zhao Yuqin didn’t get home until almost seven. She could have gotten off work on time, but her idiot supervisor suddenly asked their team to compile the data into one file and send it to him, which delayed her by an hour before she could finish work.

Zhao Yuqin lay on the couch and ordered takeout, and, as usual, she opened Weibo to scroll through the feed. She noticed that Weibo seemed to be lagging today, and thought it was just her home network acting up, so she didn’t pay much attention until she clicked on Weibo’s trending topics and was shocked by the first three almost identical trending topics.
